Hasil panen jagung di Desa Kejawan Kecamatan Tegowanu Kabupaten Grobogan Purwodadi belum dapat memanfaatkan secara maksimal. Jagung hasil panen dalam bentuk pripilan kering dijual kepada tengkulak dengan harga relatif rendah. Masyarakat Desa Kejawan merupakan masyarakat yang belum produktif secara ekonomi. Pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pengolahan jagung menjadi produk makanandan briket masih rendah. Jagung merupakan bahan makanan yang sangat potensi untuk diolah menjadi berbagai produk makanan. Masyarakat sangat membutuhkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan, untuk menjadi masyarakat produktif dan dapat menambah pendapatan keluarga. Melalui Kelompok PKK di Desa Kejawan, tim pengabdi Universitas Negeri Semarang memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada masyarakat yaitu pengolahan jagung menjadi Kripik Tortila dan limbah bonggol jagung menjadi briket. Tujuan spesifik dari kegiatan IbM ini adalah mitra mampu melakukan pengolahan jagung menjadi produk makanan dan mampu mengolah limbah bonggol jagung menjadi bahan bakar alternatif yaitu briket. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan nilai ekonomis dari jagung dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan kelompok PKK di desa Kejawan Kecamatan Tegowanu Kabupaten Grobogan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat IbM ini bahwa mitra Kelompok PKK RT 01 dan RT04 Desa Kejawan Kecamatan Tegowanu Kabupaten Grobogan dapat melakukan proses pengolahan hasil panen jagung menjadi produk olahan makanan seperti Kripik tortilla, Egg roll dan corn cheese stick serta dapat mengolah limbah jagung menjadi bahan bakar alternatif yaitu briket. Selain itu mitra juga dapat melakukan pengemasan dan pemasaran produk. Hasil analisis ekonomi terhadap rasio nilai tambah produk adalah Kripik Tortila 78,14%, Stick jagung 63,96%, Egg Roll 94,56% dan Briket 74,36%. Jagung dengan diolah menjadi produk olahan makanan dan briket mempunyai ratio nilai tambah yang tinggi yaitu diatas 40%. Sehingga dengan diolahnya hasil panen jagung menjadi produk makanan dan briket dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan ke- sejahteraan masyarakat Desa Kejawan Kecamatan Tegowanu Kabupaten Grobogan.

The purpose of this activity is to solve the problems faced by Mitra IbM who strive in the creative industry, in this case the palm fiber broom. IbM partner’s location is located in the center of the broomstick industry in Kel. Wonolopo, Mijen Sub-district of Central Java. There are two aspects of the problem to be addressed, namely aspects of production and management aspects. As the implementation team this activity involves lecturers and students with areas of expertise in accordance with the needs of the field. In the implementation, several methods are used to support each other, such as lectures for theoretical and motivational materials, demon- strations / demonstrations to deliver practice materials / skills, hands-on practices by partners, and mentoring activities. The results of this activity among others are: 1) Produced one unit of circle sawing machine, 2) Produced one unit of dowel machine, 3) The quality and design of broom increased, 4) The application of business bookkeeping, 5) The existence of labels and product promotion, 6) Product marketing increased, 7) Income and business turnover increased

Implementation of IbM is intended to develop Posyandu Information System (SiPosy- andu) which can be utilized for Posyandu cadres in Kelurahan Peterongan (Mitra1) and Pleburan (Mitra2) Kecamatan Semarang Selatan. IbM’s goal is the development, installation, implementa- tion of Siposyandu and Training for Posyandu cadres of sub-district, urban village and RT / RW in Semarang Selatan Semarang City. In order for the administrative system of recording, processing and reporting of posyandu that has been done manually can be developed into a basis of automated information system that provides accurate, detail, quick, easy, continuous, standard, and integrated information. Initial identification results indicate that the existing Posyandu system at the sub-dis- trict and sub-district levels only recruits the number of children under five and pregnant women, rather than identifying data on toddlers and pregnant women themselves as well as their health care measures. So the existing information is not based on a database that can show the identity of tod- dlers and pregnant women and health care record record in Posyandu. Therefore this SiPosyandu development will overcome the existing problems. The developed system is able to provide information on the identity of toddlers, pregnant women and health care history including nutrition and vitamins in Posyandu by cadres. So that the information provided more akuran based on row data formed in databse posyandu that processed correctly at the level of Posyandu. The method used is a review of participative actions in the form of identification of problems in the field, development and application of systems, and training of cadres for SiPosyandu operations. The products gener- ated from IbM are the installation and implementation of SiPosyandu on local server computer Posyandu cadres and web servers, as well as training for skilled cadres to operate the system

This  devotion  activity  carried  out  with  the  aim  to  help  problems  that  were  be- ing faced by small business sellerof martabak “Bangkaâ€. Activity specific target of this de- votion is to generate the external aspects of production such as: making dough mixer machine of sweet martabak that is rotated with electric motor. The methods used for the imple- mentation of this activity was done in various ways that support each other, namely: coordina- tion, machine building, training of machine operating, accompanying partners during the ac- tivities in progress and evaluating activity results. The result of this devotion activity is dough stirring machine with ¼ PK that time of the stirring becomes five times faster, stirring dough results  become  smoother,  production  increases,  as  well  as  income  and  increasing  its  profits

Problems faced by the partners with regard to the continuation of life for orphans who have graduated from high school level, namely 1) Inability manager of an orphanage in financing the continuation of study to pursue the course for foster children; 2) Limitations orphanage in get- ting a job; (3) Lack of skill in the field of multimedia orphanage in capturing the job opportunities in the world of multimedia, especially digital printing industry. Currently the workforce with the skills of graphic design and multimedia has considerable opportunities in the industry engaged in creative multimedia. In Semarang and surrounding digital printing business continues to grow and evolve. The solution offered in this community service is a foster child skill enhancement through training with the stages in creative multimedia solutions: (1) Method IbM, namely creative multimedia training for orphans; (2) The activity plan and the involvement of partners in the implementation of a series of multimedia training activities; (3) Participation IbM partner with the team, partners active role in sup- porting the education and training of the design and production of creative multimedia merchandise.

Small Business is defined as an economic activity carried out by an individual or a household or an agency aiming to produce goods or services for commercial commission and has a sales turnover of 1 (one) billion rupiah or less. While Medium Business is defined as eco- nomic activity conducted by individual or household as well as an agency aims to produce goods or services for commercial commodity and have sales turnover more than 1 (one) billion. One  of  the  SMEs  that  developed  in  Dukuh  Delik  Wringin  Jajar  Village  Mranggen  Dis- trict Demak District is the business of making furniture from aluminum material. This busi- ness has been going on for almost 8 years and able to absorb 5 to 10 workers in the surround- ing environment. Fluctuations in the amount of labor depend heavily on orders demanded by customers. Products produced by SMEs include: Doors, Frames, Window Leaves, Kitch- en Set, Kitchen Cabinets, Storefronts, Corner Display Cabinets, Rolling Door and others. The  purpose  of  community  service  is  to  help  the  SME  businessman  making  furniture from  aluminum  material  in  Dukuh  Delik  Wringin  Jajar  Village  Mr.anggen  District  De- mak District, especially in the field of marketing. The type of marketing chosen by the dev- otees team is by creating an online store based on Opensource CMS that is Prestashop. The outcome of this program is expected the SMEs business of making furniture from aluminum material has the ability in marketing their products through online store application system that has been made. In addition is expected also with the training and assistance provided by these business actors are able to manage online stores independently. So that will affect the amount of production and orders that will be able to improve the living standards of business actors

Kualitas dan kuantitas produk minuman serbuk instan UKM Jamu VARA- GUS perlu ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan mesin kristalisasi serbuk. Ketiadaan laporan keuangan pada UKM Jamu VARAGUS menyebabkan usaha sulit berkem- bang, maka perlu dibuat laporan keuangan agar manajemen usaha berjalan dengan maksimal. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah 1) meningkat- kan kualitas dan kuantitas produk dengan menerapkan mesin kristalisasi serbuk; 2) mengetahui nilai tambah setelah menerapkan mesin kristalisasi serbuk; 3) menyusun laporan keuangan menggunakan komputer untuk UKM jamu VARAGUS. Metode pelaksanaan dari kegiatan ini antara lain: 1) pembuatan laporan keuangan dengan menggunakan program komputer; 2) pembuatan mesin menggunakan metode ran- cang bangun; 4) pelatihan penggunaan alat dan perawatan dengan metode praktik dan Tanya jawab; 5) evaluasi penggunaan mesin menggunakan metode uji coba dan pengamatan; 6) pendampingan dan konsultasi menggunakan metode diskusi. Hasil dari program ini adalah: 1)mesin kristalisasi serbuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dengan adanya penurunan persentase gumpalan mencapai 15%, kuantitas produk meningkat 100% sekali proses; 2) terjadi peningkatan nilai tambah dari penerapan mesin yakni dengan berkurangnya biaya tenaga karyawan, dan penghematan biaya bahan bakar lebh dari 50; 3) laporan keuangan UKM VARAGUS dibuat menggunakan microsoft excel, tersusun atas beberapa formulir diantaranya chart of account, jurnal umum, neraca, dan laporan laba-rugi

The purpose of science and technology activities for the community is to solve the problems faced by IbM partners covering aspects of production, quality and hygiene, busi- ness management, and product marketing. There are two partners of SMEs who are engaged in processing and marketing of milkfish presto in Semarang. To achieve the targets of activities carried out by various methods tailored to the purpose of activities, such as lectures / counseling, demonstrations, direct practice, and mentoring. The results of IbM activities are: 1) Produced a unit of presto fuel-saving fuels maker with a production capacity of at least 30 kg once cook 2) Produced one unit of oven milkfish presto tool that has been cooked;3)  Known  the  nutritional  value  of  milkfish  presto  (proximate  test),  among  others  protein,  fat,  carbohydrate,  calcium,  water  content,  and  abui  level;  4)  Produce  a  typical  presto milkfish recipe production Part I or Partner II that can be widely accepted by consumers; 5)  Produce the design and  quality of presto milk packaging  more interesting; 6) Produced P-IRT permit  from  Dinas  Kesehatan  for  Partners  II;  7)  The  pattern  of  business  management  (bookkeeping,  promotion,  marketing)  of  presto  milkfish  industry  is  neat  and  modern

Cooking oil is one of the needs of society in order to fulfill daily needs. The economic condition of Indonesian people is very diverse, some use cooking oil for single use but some also use cooking oil for several times usage. The high unsaturated fatty acids in cooking oil, cause cooking oil will be easily damaged in the process of frying (deep frying) because in the process of frying, oil will be heated continuously at high temperatures. The use of used cooking oil or jelantah can cause adverse effects to the commu- nity  and  the  environment.  The  adverse  impacts  on  the  community  are  caused  by the decline in  the quality of  food  fried with cooking oil which results  in  disruption  of  public  health. Adverse  impact  to  the  environment  is  the  disposal  of  cooking  oil  without  first  processing  can  pollute  the  soil  and  water  environment. Utilization of used cooking oil as kerosene replacement fuel is one solution that can be tak- en when facing the bad impact of used cooking oil. In order to serve as a substitute fuel for kerosene, jelantah oil must have karaketristik that is almost the same as kerosene. One of the most important characteristics is the viscosity number. Wrinkled oil has a high viscosity, so that the use of jelantah oil must undergo certain processes to decrease its viscosity. One way to reduce viscosity is by warming at high temperatures over long periods of time. Partners   in   this   devotional   activity   are   the   vendors   of   gorengan   around the  campus  of  UNNES  FMIPA.  They  use  a  lot  of  cooking  oil  in  their  business,  maybe  even  cooking  oil  used  many  times  and  waste  of  used  cooking  oil will  be  thrown  indiscriminately  so  as  to  pollute  the  surrounding  environment. With this devotion is expected the traders gorengan around FMIPA UNNES campus can process waste used cooking oil into fuel substitute kerosene so that will reduce environmental pollution.

IbM’s devotion partner is a joint business group (KUB) Delima and KUB Citra Ku- susma who are entrepreneur in the field of food. The problems that arise are: (1) production aspect, want to increase production quantity but constrained equipments possessed very sim- ple and minimal (2) quality aspect, the product has not got PIRT license and not yet neat, so it needs to be improved for marketing expansion, (3) ) aspects of hiegene and sanitation, not con- sidering individual hygiene and equipment and environmental sanitation (4) aspects of busi- ness  management and marketing, administrative and financial records  need to be improved. For extensive marketing requires an attractive packaging and there is a manufacturer address. Based on the problems faced by the science and technology community partners (IbM) above, the solutions offered are: (1) Applied one unit of oven, (2) Applied one large mixer unit to stir the dough, (3). Produced cake recipe terstansdar from the amount of materials, processing techniques, neatness form and uniformity level of maturity. (4) Known the results of organoleptic test: in terms of taste, color, aroma and texture and known test results of the public / consumer against the cake in produc- tion. (5). The resulting design and quality of cake packaging is more interesting, (6). Assisted with the arrangement of PIRT permits for cakes made by KUB Delima and KUB Citra Kusuma, (7). Known nutritional content of cakes in the form of content: carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water content and ash content. (8). On business management (bookkeeping and administration) recorded complete and neat. (9). On marketing already using brochures and packaging already address the manufacturer. (10). The increased partner profits which in turn can increase the income and welfare of KUB members. (11). Generated scientific articles in national journals in order to publish the results of the activities
