Abstract

Mutual Fund is one investment instruments, especially for small scale investor who doesn’t have many time and expertise to calculate the risk over their investment. Because through mutual fund, an investor could reliance his fund to be managed by investor management in which to be diversified broadly in order to give business advantage for the investor. Mutual fund fixed revenue is accumulative society fund which is invested in to encumber, generally in form of obligation. Mutual fund share is accumulative fund which is invested in to the combination between encumber and share with allocation that cannot be categorized in to mutual fund money market, mutual fund fix revenue, and mutual fund share. Performance analysis method for mutual fund can use risk adjusted return method, because performance measurement not only evaluated from the amount of mutual fund but also the risk that involved on it. Result of performance analysis of mutual fund in Indonesia, in year evaluated between 2004 – 2007 can be described as follows in general, mutual fund performance according to Sharpe, Treynor, Jensen methods shows that in under perform position, only in 2004, 2005,2006 according to Jensen and Treynor methods shows that Schorder Prestasi Plus, Capital TRIM and Fortis Pesona who has out perform position. Mutual fund performance that in under performance offer 2004 – 2007 was caused by highly return risk free condition in Indonesia. Lack of knowledge of Indonesian investor about mutual fund was the main problem.

Abstract

Performance measurement reflects the company capability to prepare the customer desired standard when in time it considers lower production and maintenance costs, higher product quality, reduced stock in process, deprived material processing cost, and shorter delivery deadline. The key to improve company performance locates at integrated effectiveness building, internally or externally, through cooperation and coordination begun with supplier-selection criteria between business partners. Supply Chain Management (SCM) requires: internal integration (intra-organization) and external integration (inter-organization). Primary key of Supply Chain Management (SCM) will be having supplier as partner in the company strategy and satisfying the always changing market demand. Therefore, a selection among company strategy options in the global competition really produces a model of dominant integration, coordination, and cooperation in controlling global market, precisely through supply chain as important element to contribute to company performance improvement

Abstract

Sidoarjo has been known as the center of SMEs. As for embroidery product, price variable is the most dominant variable. The research that will be conducted is based on the previous research that has been conducted by the researchers regarding the customer perception of the characteristics of embroidery product. This research is an exploratory research. The research method that will be used is qualitative descriptive which will be quantified by Quality Function Deployment method. The Subject of this research is the customers, embroidery experts, and TTG experts. The results of the survey consists of data regarding the customer expectation on embroidery products in 4 (four) embroidery outlets in Sidoarjo. The data collected is arranged into the customer quality demand which subsequently comprised into the construct of quality performance. Afterward, the data is processed using WELCOME program and applied into an electric embroidery machinem which could produce formatted embroidery pattern. Embroidery patterns that are desired by customers are flowery type such as jasmine, rose, cherry blossom, and KAMBOJA with size in a range of 1-3 cm, which is located in a variety of places, using KESET technique, and modified into 2 dimension with beads, and the color that is preferred is secondary color such as orange, violet, and green, and the type of fabrics that is favored is cotton. In term of the technological capability that is possessed by the crafter, all demand for the customer quality construct can be satisfied. This is possible because a meeting regarding the capability and competence of the crafter has been arranged before the survey was conducted. All crafter that is surveyed in embroidery pattern and process is still manual without the use of computerized machine with embroidery pattern software.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to identify the relationship between uncertainty environment variable and characteristic variable of management accounting information toward the managerial work performance variable at BUMN organization in East Java. The sample is taken from the population of managers and their assistants in the organization. The study uses simple random sampling technique. The result of the study proves that the uncertainty environment variable and management accounting information influence the managerial work performance variable simultaneously. Temporarily, the characteristics variable of management accounting information influences the managerial work performance partially. The study determination coefficient is 16.7%, and its remnants (83.3%) shows that the managerial work performance variable influenced by the other variables out of the study.

Abstract

This Paper tries to describe and to analize a correlation education and training with employee performance, Meanwhile, the method of analysis used descriptive quantitative with sample as twenty four employee. The result show that there is a significant correlation between education and training with employee performance (r count 0,760 > r table 0,404, if r count is greater than r table, there is a significant and positive between two variables). It is suggested that the institution must develop their employees through human resource development program.

Abstract

Shoes are included to shopping goods as we know before consumers buy usually needs to consider according to price and attributes product congruency. Consumers tend to considers attributes product and price depend on information they got and finally can shape consumers perception to attributes product and price its self and finally it can shape buying decision. This research is purposed to analyze the influence of price and attributes product perception of converse shoes to buying decision not only stimulant but also partial. Hypothesis is used in this research is a) it is guessed price and attributes product perception is influenced stimulant to buying decisions and b) it is guessed price and attributes product perception is influenced partial to buying decisions. Sample is determined by non probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique from population consumers who ever bought converse shoes in Darmo Trade Center Surabaya. Data primer is collected by questioner through survey and interview. This Sample is consisted of 100 respondents who use and ever bought converse shoes in Darmo Trade Center. Data analyzed is done by Multiple Linear Regressions.

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of corporate services, much needed work stress control and employee empowerment are expected to increase job satisfaction of employees so that employees who feel satisfied will try to do my best and advance the company. This study aims to determine the effect of job stress and employee empowerment on job satisfaction in PT. X Surabaya. The population in this study is a call center employee PT. X with a sample of 105 respondents. To analyze the data, regression analysis using the program package SPS / IBM PC edition Sutrisno Pamardiningsih Yuni Hadi and 2000. Results of data analysis known that a significant difference between job stress and job satisfaction that has a negative influence, and there is insignificant effect between empowerment and job satisfaction with a correlation coefficient R2 = 0.467 and p = 0.000 with a significance level of 5%. The conclusion is collectively - as a significant difference between job stress and job satisfaction, empowerment with effective contribution that is equal to 46.3%, and amounted to 54.7% influenced by other variables.
