Grounding is used as a protection equipment so as to prevent damage and protection for laboratory users. In designing the grounding must consider the economic aspect and simplicity. Viewed from the side economics and simplicity grounding rods forms that will be used in the design of grounding are multiple ground rods. Because the design is simple but can be obtained low resistance values. This grounding design used two wells which have different parameters, and the resulting R1 = 0.892 Ohm and R2 = 1.5414 Ohm. Because the first well has a smaller resistance value, it will be more effective and efficient when the final draft of grounding used two wells which have the same parameters as the first well, which then shunt connected that the smaller the resistance value amounting to 0.446 Ohm. In the design of the two wells used eight rod electrodes with a diameter of 16 mm and a length of each rod 1 meter. The resulting resistance value is very good to use as the installation of grounding in High Voltage Engineering Laboratory. To obtain a low resistance value is influenced by many factors, such as soil resistivity, a long electrode, the electrode fingers and multiplication factor.

Penelitian ini menjelaskan faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi penentuan harga sayuran di supermarket di Yogyakarta. Diketahui bahwa harga sayuran di supermarket merupakan penjumlahan dari harga sayuran supplier dan mark up dari harga supplier tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga supplier merupakan salah satu variabel yang berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap harga sayuran di supermarket. Faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi besaran mark up merupakan data kualitatifberdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan supplier dan survery di supermarket: segmentasi konsumen, pengaruh harga pasar, pengaruh harga impor, dan packaging. Hasil PCA memberikan informasi variabel penting terhadap besaran mark up harga sayuran yaitu Pengaruh Harga Pasar, Pengaruh Harga Impor, dan Packaging. Ketiga variabel ini berkorelasi tinggi baik terhadap mark up maupun harga sayuran di supermarket. Segmentasi Pasar tidak berkorelasi secara signifikan terhadap besaran mark up dan harga sayuran di supermarket. Terakhir, dengan menggunakan Partial Least Squares (PLS) dibangun model matematis penentuan harga sayuran di supermarket. Model 1 dengan 25 data dan Model 2 dengan 14 data sayuran. Y sebagai mark up, dan X adalah variabel Segmentasi Konsumen, Pengaruh Harga Pasar, Pengaruh Harga Impor, dan Packaging. Diberikan contoh perhitungan harga sayuran di supermarket menggunakan model yang dibangun.

Calista Perkasa Mulia ( CPM ) ltd is a contracting company of the railway construction. In the project construction of double track railway Semarang- Bojonegoro period April 2012 to December 2013 , scheduling and risk management has not been implemented properly. It could been seen from the works that was not completed on schedule. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to design a project scheduling with precedence diagram method (PDM) and risk management. The results showed that one of the strategies which could be applied to anticipate the delay was the acceleration of the project. With this strategy the project could save as much as Rp730.638.742. Furthermore the risk of sources showed there were 28.21 % of technical risks, 46.15 % of not expected risk and 33.33 % unacceptable risk.

Dual Homing ONT mechanism implemented by PT. XYZ to establish Node B BTS network. This mechanism has reliability benefit due to dual uplinks support it has, so when one of the dual uplinks goes down, the backup link will then getting active and forwarding data. At this time, current market available monitoring system unable to detect failure on both uplinks when one of them inactive due to system failure. This problem occurs because device probing could only be established up to ONT. In this case, engineer does not aware whether their link is up or not, and dual homing scheme does not really works. Due to problem which is explained above, this paper offers a new approach to monitor two target of each ONT: the IP address and the logical port of the OLT where the ONT connected. In this mechanism, if one of the link fail, system will send an alert to engineer based on the status of the logical port to repair the broken link.

Departemen Engineering adalah departemen yang sangat penting dalam PT. XYZ, karena departemen ini merupakan blue print facility yang mengemudikan operasional perusahaan. Namun, kinerja departemen ini belum pernah diukur dengan metode apapun. Penelitian ini menggunakan Balance Scorecard yang terdiri dari 4 aspek, yaitu aspek keuangan, pelanggan, pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan, dan proses bisnis internal untuk mengukur kinerja departemen engineering. Hasilnya: 1) Aspek keuangan memiliki sistem yang baik; 2) Perspektif pelanggan dianalisis menggunakan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan di mana 53,85% tidak puas; 3) Pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan dianalisis menggunakan survei kepuasan karyawan dan menunjukkan bahwa 50% puas; dan 4) Proses bisnis internal menunjukkan bahwa 66,67% dari total proyek selama tahun yang diamati telah tercapai.

Dengan lebih dari 200 juta penduduk, Indonesia memiliki potensi besar dalam sumber daya manusia, namun pendidikan masih menjadi polemik di negeri ini. Ketimpangan pelayanan pendidikan adalah salah satu dari banyak masalah yang menjadi polemik antar wilayah. Dalam banyak kesempatan, banyak yang mengatakan bahwa Pulau Jawa memiliki infrastruktur yang jauh lebih baik daripada pulau-pulau yang lain. Hal tersebut terkait dengan fakta bahwa ibukota Indonesia berada di Pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui adakah keterkaitan antara kualitas pelayanan pendidikan dan jarak dari ibukota negara ke daerah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode clustering untuk melihat kesamaan kualitas pendidikan di 33 provinsi di Indonesia. Dari clustering yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa jarak ke ibukota hampir tidak berpengaruh pada kualitas pelayanan pendidikan di daerah tertentu dan diyakini bahwa kualitas pendidikan adalah fungsi yang tergantung pada variabel yang lebih kompleks.

This paper discusses the use of the Google Maps API to perform data visualization for Base Transceiver Station (BTS) data. BTS are typically used by telecommunications companies to facilitate wireless communication between communication devices with the network operator. Each BTS has important information such as it’s location, it’s transaction traffic, as well as information about revenue. With the implementation of BTS data visualization using the Google Maps API, key information owned by each BTS can be presented more attractive and also easier to understand. BTS data visualization supports decision-making processes related to company policies such as marketing strategy in order to increase the revenue of the company

Bagasse is one of the agricultural waste which is quite high at 19.7%. This research aims to assess the possibility of the use of bagasse as raw material for the manufacture of surfactants. Variable research is the concentration of NaHSO3 and long reaction time. The research was conducted using a three-neck flask reactor operated at 105 0 C and pH 4. Bagasse was pulverized to 120 mesh size, extracted with methanol for isolation of lignin. Furthermore, lignin reacted with NaHSO3 in a threeneck flask at 105 0C and pH 4. The results showed that the greater the concentration NaHSO3 and the longer the reaction time, the amount of lignosulfonates produced even greater. The optimum condition was obtained at a concentration of 30% NaHSO3 and the long reaction time of 60 minutes to produce the amount of lignosulfonate 17209.238 ppm or a yield of 20.717%.

One of the higher education problems is to map out students potential effectively to achieve a more optimal education results. The mapping could be represented by choosing the right department, choosing thesis title, or choosing the right optional subject. Higher education is an institution that resulting many data including the student’s academic profile which can be utilized to fulfil this objective. Data mining is a technology which can interface this need. One of the data mining variant is association analysis and frequent itemset mining which are seeking the connection pattern between one attribute or item and the other. Data attribute that shows up often at the same time means that they have a strong association connection and can make a pattern used as information. Apriori algorithm is a popular algorithm that is used in association data mining. Although this algorithm have several disadvantages, this algorithm still commonly used because it’s easiness to implement and it’s flexibility to improved and adjusted with the purpose. As the addition, several publications have suggested some improvement for this algorithm, such as limiting the number of rules. In this research, the utilization of Apriori Algorithm to extract knowledge from academic’s profile data could not yet resulted in aimed recommendation due to the lack distribution of optional course which results in the lack of knowledge seeking result variation and only focused on certain optional course as the result of knowledge seeking.
