With both models, an investor will be able to find out the composition of stocks, especially shares of companies engaged in agribusiness, as well as directly to find out the proportion of each stock and its risks and benefits arising from the formation of the portfolio.  The results showed that by using the CAPM and APT models in the calculation of the formation of optimal portfolios in stocks excange Agribusiness, produces a portfolio with stocks composision 3 froms, namely AALI, TBLA and UNSP. APT model approach shows a greater value than the CAPM models, the highest return value can be generated is 14.088% while that may happen is losses -0268% while the CAPM models yield the highest return rate of 5.74% and the losses will be experienced by -14.54 %. significant difference in outcome is caused from the different assumptions of the models above.  From these results should be expected investors to take investment decisions of agribusiness firms stocks in the Indonesia Stock Exchange with respect to the results obtained from the approach to the CAPM and APT models, in addition to the results obtained from both models are also investors give the attention of fundamental and technical factors companies that investors are not wrong and more confident in make investment decisions.

They are agriculture, tourism with its culture and Hindu religion and home industry to support agriculture and tourism sector. The rapid development in tourism sector is expected that the holticulture product especially local fruits could be accommodated by tourism industry especially the big or star hotels which most of them located at Badung Regency. But in this free trade globalization, imported fruits products spreading in Bali are as a tight competitors in order to be able market segment especially to the star hotels in Bali. The title of this research, the dominand factors for the demand of local fruits at star hotels in Badung Regency. The choice of this location is done by using purposive sampling. The purpose of this research are : (1) To identify the fruits needed at star hotels in Badung Regency. (2) To know the factors for demand of local fruits at star hotels in Badung Regency, and (3) To know the deminand factor for the demand of local fruits at star hotels in Badung Regency. The samples taken are 96 hotels by using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling Technique. The data are collected by using (1) observation, (2) interview, (3) questionnaire and (4) documented method. There are 18 fixed variable indicators and they are analized by using inductive statistic. It is factor of analizes.  The result this research shows that : (1) There 10 kinds of fruits needed by the star hotels in Badung Regency such as : watermelon, melon, pineapple, papaya (popo), king banana, snakeskin fruit, kapok banana, gold banana, red apple and avocado. (2) There are 5 factors for local fruits demand at star hotels in Badung Regency. They are : the quality of the fruit, the price, hotel policy, continuation and government policy. (3) From those 5 factors available, exactly the quality of the fruits is as dominant factors to influence the demand of local fruits at the star hotels in Badung Regency.  From the result of this research could be suggested for : (1) Farmers. They should develop their knowledge and skill for planting local fruit plantations by joining agriculture information through both newspaper and electronically. Abstract

The eucalyptus plant (Melaleuca leucadendron Linn) grows well without cultivation in the district of Western Seram, Western Seram Regency. Besides having utility as medicines, eucalyptus oil has high selling value, and as an export commodity. In fact, the potential of this commodity in this region has not been managed and developed optimally.  The aims of this research are to analyze profitability and the internal and external factors of eucalyptus oil agribusiness development in the District of Western Seram, and to formulate the strategy that must be done by producers of eucalyptus oil and alternative strategies for its agribusiness development. The results showed that eucalyptus oil agribusiness in the District of Western Seram                   is profitable, shown by the value of R/C is equal to 1.90. The influential factors according to the score of internal factors (IFAS) are the wide potential land, the availability of raw materials, and limited capital of the producers. While the prominent external factors (EFAS) are the availability of market, competition from Buru Island, and flammable eucalyptus forest.  The main strategy to be applied is market penetration and product development. Strategic alternatives include: (1) Expansion of market share through government policy on development of small medium enterprises; (2) Improvement of product and its quality through pest and disease control, monitoring time of fire prone, eucalyptus development based on regional sites, and establishment of institutions to deal with the competition; (3) Improvement packaging concepts through the implementation of modern technology; (4) Capital improvement through the supports from government and financial institutions; (5) Improvement of production and product prices through eradication of pests or diseases and the prevention of forest fires; and    (6) Establishment of the farmer groups as mediator between producers and processing interests including marketing institutions.

Abstract

African catfish production in Tabanan in 2010 is not able to meet demand, so the shortcomings come from outside the regency of Tabanan, in terms of land Tabanan regency has vast untapped potential. The high demand for African catfish contains high nutrition, delicious, cheap, and easily cultivated. But the fact that the fish farmers have worked and many have failed. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of financial, marketing, and social African catfish fish cultivation and its impact on catfish farmers' income. The research method used survey research approach to the analysis of quantitative and qualitative methods. Research sites in Tabanan regency. The scope of the feasibility study includes an analysis of the financial aspects, marketing, social, and its effect on catfish farmers' income. The results showed that the financial aspects of the business viable, marketing and social. The feasibility aspects of marketing have the most dominant effect on farmers' income compared to the financial and social aspects. Changes in output price are more than sensitive than the input. The need for venture capital is large enough for catfish farmers. Based on the conclusions can be suggested: (1) efforts should be developed to be able to further increase farmers' income, (2) an increase in scale effort to increase profits, implement effective technologies, increasing knowledge and skills of African catfish aquaculture, (3) respond to any trend of development output prices so did not experience greater losses, (4) Government policies need to prepare capital cheaper and easier.

Abstract

This study aims at finding  an optimal model of integrated farming systems development (henceforth Simantri) on implementing Simantri  079 farmer groups based on existing farming constraints and available technology. Primary data were collected  from  20 respondents by applying   survey methods with census techniques  in Simantri 079 farmer groups in Tabanan regency. Secondary data were obtained from various sources to specify all the parameters used in the model. Data were analyzed by using gross margin and   a linear programming (BLPX88 package program). Linear programing aimed at selecting combination and levels of  activities in order to achieve the goal without compromising  to the availability of resources and specified constraints. The use of gross margin aims at determining the farming income under the simantri 079.  The results showed that the average of farm size is about 0,33 hectars. Those area are utilized to grow rice twice a year and corn once a year with cropping pattern : paddy- paddy-second crop. Land for cattle obtained from a member of Simantri group is about 0.1 hectares. Actual income of farmers per hectare got from the operation of the Simantri equal to Rp 15,239,000.00 from the first rice production, Rp 20,896,000.00 from the second rice production and Rp 3,678.000,00 from corn production in the last session. Income of cattle production per year is Rp 3,819,000.00. Under the optimization overall farmer income at amount of Rp335,562,600.00 on 6,61 hectars and 20 cattles a year. But the real income Rp 332,026,141,45.00 making a different of 1.07% above from real income.
