Abstract

Kecamatan Banjarangkan Kabupaten, Klungkung mendapatkan program GP-PTT dengan rakitan teknologi tanam jajar legowo 2:1 dimana penyuluh pertanian sebagai ujung tombak pelaksanaan program. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kinerja penyuluh pertanian menurut petani, (2) menganalisis pengaruh kinerja penyuluh dan karakteristik petani terhadap perilaku petani, (3) menganalisis pengaruh perilaku petani terhadap produktivitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Banjarangkan, Kabupaten Klungkung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah petani yang mengikuti program GP-PTT yang menggunakan cara tanam jajar legowo 2:1 tahun 2015. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 96 petani yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 10%. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik propotional purposive sampling. Data di analisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan statistik menggunakan SmartPLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kinerja penyuluh di Kecamatan Banjarangkan masuk kategori baik; (2) kinerja penyuluh dan karakteristik petani berpengaruh nyata terhadap perilaku petani; (3) perilaku petani berpengaruh nyata terhadap produktivitas. Saran yang dapat diberikan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) kinerja penyuluh dalam memandu menyusun rencana definitive kelompok perlu ditingkatkan; (2) pendidikan non formal berupa pelatihan dansekolah lapang intensitasnya perlu ditingkatkan; (3) dukungan pemerintah terhadap pembiayaan pendidikan non formal perlu di tingkatkan; (4) pengembangan penelitian lain perlu dilakukan dengan konstruk dan indicator yang berbeda untuk mendukung pemerintah mengambil kebijakan.

Abstract

Produksi yang maksimum dapat dicapai apabila penggunaan input secara optimum. Efisiensi produksi dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan input produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji; (1) pengaruh faktor-faktor produksi jahe gajah; (2) faktor inefisiensi dan efisiensi produksi jahe gajah; (3) pendapatan petani dalam usaha tani jahe gajah; dan (4) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam produksi jahe gajah. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 orang ditentukan dengan teknik Simple Random Samplin. Efisiensi produksi dianalisis menggunakan fungsi produksi Stochastic Frontier dengan program Frontier 4.1c dan pendapatan petani dianalisis menggunakan R/C ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) variabel luas lahan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi; (2) variabel pendidikan, pengalaman dan dummy penyuluhan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi, sedangkan usaha tani jahe gajah dinyatakan  efisien secara teknis dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,910, namun belum efisien secara alokatif dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,668 dan belum efisien secara ekonomis dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,599; (3) usaha tani jahe gajah sudah mengalami keuntungan dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,7; (4) kendala yang dihadapi petani jahe gajah adalah belum adanya standar harga, sulitnya mendapat akses pasar, dan penyakit busuk rimpang.

Abstract

Kawasan hutan mangrove di Denpasar, sangat potensial dikembangkan menjadi objek ekowisata. Beragamnya jenis mangrove di kawasan ini memiliki fungsi sebagai penyedia jasa-jasa pendukung kehidupan dan kenyamanan dan mitigasi bencana. Pengembangan ekowisata hutan mangrove merupakan sebuah sistem yang mengandung beberapa elemen pendukung yang saling terkait. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan elemen penting, mengidentifikasi sub elemen kunci, dan mensintesisnya untuk menentukan kriteria pengembangan model ekowisata hutan mangrove.Penelitian dilakukan di kawasan Pusat Informasi Mangrove, Suwung Kauh, Denpasar. Metode Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) dari Saxena digunakan untuk menganalisis struktur pengembangan kawasan ekowisata mangrove. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan melalui expert meeting.Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sub-elemen kunci penggerak sistem ekowisata hutan mangrove adalah  masyarakat di wilayah pengembangan ekowisata mangrove (elemen sektor masyarakat yang terpengaruh), pemberdayan pelaku bisnis ekowisata, kebijakan publik yang kondusif, tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan (elemen kebutuhan program), kebijakan pemerintah yang tidak konsisten (elemen kendala utama), peningkatan pangsa pasar produk (rekreasi, bisnis, dan ilmiah) dari objek ekowisata mangrove (elemen tujuan dari program), meningkatnya kualitas sumberdaya manusia ekowisata (elemen tolok ukur untuk menilai setiap tujuan), koordinasi antar instansi teknis terkait dalam upaya menjamin tercapainya target prgram konservasi lingkungan terpadu (elemen aktivitas yang dibutuhkan guna perencanaan tindakan) dan pemerintah daerah dan pusat (elemen lembaga yang terlibat dalam pelaksanakan program). Kriteria dalam pengembangan ekowisata mangrove, meliputi peningkatan keahlian kerja dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di wilayah pengembangan ekowisata mangrove, pelestarian lingkungan, jaminan kuantitas, kualitas, kontunyuitas, dan harga produk (rekreasi, bisnis, dan ilmiah) dari objek ekowisata mangrove, peningkatan akses pasar dan profitabilitas optimal objek ekowisata, dan ketersediaan prasarana dan sarana penunjang di kawasan ekowisata mangrove.Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengelolaan ekowisata mangrove terpadu untuk menjamin keberlanjutan pemanfaatan sumberdaya dan perlindungan lingkungan, meminimalkan dan meresolusi konflik beragam pemanfaatan sumberdaya, meningkatkan koordinasi lintas sektor dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan, mengedepankan keterpaduan kebijakan fungsional, mereduksi resiko terhadap masyarakat dan kesehatan lingkungan, serta mendorong investasi swasta dalam infrastruktur ekowisata mangrove dalam suatu sistem yang utuh dan menyeluruh.Kata kunci: pengembangan kawasan ekowisata mangrove, pengelolaan sumberdaya  pesisir berkelanjutan, Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM).

Abstract

Keberhasilan bisnis benih kerapu di Balitidak lepas dari peran Balai Besar Riset Perikanan Budidaya Laut Gondol. Saat ini, di Kecamatan Gerokgak, Kabupaten Buleleng terdapat 76 unit hatchery Skala Rumah Tangga dan lima unit Hatchery Lengkap. Meskipun bisnis benih kerapu di tingkat hatchery cukup berkembang, tetapi keuntungan yang diperoleh petani hatchery belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal, merumuskan alternatif strategi, menentukan prioritas strategi, dan menentukan implementasi strategi bisnis benih kerapu tingkat hatchery.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Buleleng pada tahun 2007, dengan pertimbangan bahwa lokasi penelitian merupakan sentra hatchery di Provinsi Bali dan merupakan daerah penghasil benih kerapu terbesar di Indonesia. Kegiatan FGD melibatkan 14 orang pakar yang berasal dari perguruan tinggi, praktisi bisnis, dan instansi pemerintah dan lembaga non-pemerintah. Indikator-indikator faktor internal dan faktor eksternal dievaluasi dengan metode IFAS dan EFAS. Alternatif strategi dirumuskan melalui matriks SWOT, sedangkan prioritas strategi dan prioritas implementasi strategi diputuskan dengan  Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP).Hasil-hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan bisnis benih kerapu tingkat hatchery di Kecamatan Gerokgak, Kabupaten Buleleng adalah akses pasar, lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat setempat, letak geografis, jaminan kualitas, kuantitas dan harga, permodalan dan fasilitas perbankan, teknologi budidaya kerapu dan prosesing, dan rantai pemasaran, sedangkan kelemahannya adalah kontinyuitas produksi, manajemen, keuntungan dan resiko usaha, dan layanan Pemkab. Peluang bisnis benih kerapu adalah pertumbuhan ekspor, diversifikasi produk, pertumbuhan ekonomi, suku bunga dan kurs dollar, stabilitas politik/keamanan nasional, kepastian hukum, kebijakan pemerintah pusat, dan perkembangan teknologi, sedangkan ancamannya adalah kebijakan Pemkab, kehadiran eksportir pesaing, dan harga benih kerapu. Alternatif strategi bisnis benih kerapu tingkat hatchery, meliputi pengembangan sentra hatchery benih kerapu, strategi kerja sama pemangku kepentingan bisnis domestik dan internasional, strategi kemitraan bisnis terpadu, dan strategi perbaikan manajemen pemasaran. Prioritas strategi tertinggi adalah pengembangan sentra hatchery benih kerapu, diikuti berturut-turut oleh strategi pembinaan terpadu, strategi kerjasama domestik dan internasional, dan strategi perbaikan manajemen pemasaran. Prioritas implementasi strategi utama adalah penerapan teknologi hatchery tepat guna, diikuti oleh pengembangan pola kemitraan terpadu, peningkatan kualitas SDM di bidang hatchery, membangun prasarana dan sarana hatchery yang memadai, melaksanakan diversifikasi produk, dan pengembangan potensi usaha lokal yang terkait dengan hatchery.Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan diversifikasi produk ikan kerapu, utamanya pembesaran ikan kerapu dalam upaya mengoptimalkan keuntungan petani hatchery di Kabupaten Buleleng. Kerjasama antara pelaku bisnis domestik dan internasional dalam bisnis ikan kerapu juga perlu semakin dipererat. Di samping itu, kemitraan bisnis terpadu antara petani hatchery, perusahaan/eksportir ikan kerapu, dan pihak perbankan perlu segera direalisasikan dengan melibatkan pemerintah daerah sebagai penjamin.Kata kunci: benih kerapu di tingkat hatchery, prioritas strategi bisnis, analisis SWOT, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP).

Abstract

The social, cultural, economic, and environmental potentials in Subak Sembung are not well-developed, such that these potentials have not been adequately explored by the local community. This study aimed to describe the synergy between subak and the ecotourism in supporting the sustainable national food stability program. Subak Sembung selected as the study location because its location in the middle of Denpasar City and already developed as ecotourism sites. There were 66 participants involved in this study. Formal surveys, rapid appraisal, and map-making through satellite imaging from the Google Earth Pro (GE) application were used to collect the data. Result revealed that the social economy social activities conducted by the farmer were: (1) seed-producing tools, fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural tools, (2) land-tillage, nurseries, cultivating, preserving the plant, harvesting, (3) marketing, and (4) the correlation between farmers, subak and ecotourism; worth to be developed as a tourist attraction site.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The training programme of making the qualities organic fertilizers derived from waste livestock cattle and pig were conducted at Marga Dauhpuri village, Marga District, Regency of Tabanan, from June until October 2008. The purpose of this programme was improving society skill on making organic fertilizers.The methods of programme were : !) giving counseling to livestock farmers who merged into group of Livestock Sari Buana about : environmental contamination problem by waste of livestock of cattle and pig, and way of the settlement of disposal 2) Training of making organic fertilizers ( compost) having quality from waste of ranch of cattle and pig. The results of devotion activity to this society were 1) can improve the society awareness specially group of farmer of livestock Sari Buana about : a) livestock waste deriving from cattle and pig become the economic valuable substance in order not to spoil environment b) Dirt of pig and cattle become the organic manure (compost) which is good for crop 2) Can improve skilled in making organic fertilizers ( compost) having quality from dirt of cattle and pig 3) The yielding of certifiable compost with the characteristic : dark brown color, granulous refine, not smell and content of element nutrient namely : C-Organic ( 3.04 %); N-Total ( 0.41 %), available-P ( 20.56 ppm), available-K ( 842.31 ppm), C / N ( 7.41) for the compost of cattle dirt, and C-Organic ( 3.70 %); N-Total ( 0.16 %), available-P ( 35.91ppm), available-K ( 2517.10 ppm), C / N (23.13) for the compost of pig dirt

Abstract

Self-Reliance of Farmers in Managing Vegetable Farming in Denpasar City The development of urban agriculture has many challenges such as the difficulty ofobtaining production inputs, the difficulty of obtaining credit, the limited ofresources, the limited time, and the agricultural sector which is not a priority sector.Difficulties in farming in urban areas can be minimized with the self-sufficiency ofeach farmer. The purpose of the study was to investigate how the performance ofvegetable farming management and how the level of self-sufficiency of vegetablefarmers in Denpasar, as well as what factors influence the self-sufficiency ofvegetable farmers in the city of Denpasar in terms of capital, production andmarketing that are categorized in three classes of measurement i.e. less selfsufficiency,moderate self-sufficiency or full self-sufficiency analyzed by qualitativedescriptive method. The results showed that vegetables farming conducted byfarmers in the city of Denpasar was still classified as a traditional that rely on habits.The self-sufficiency seen from the aspects of capital, production and marketing canbe categorized as medium category. Factors that affect the self-sufficiency in thecapital aspect was age. The self-sufficiency in the aspects of production wasinfluenced by the source of information, and the self-sufficiency in the marketingaspect was influenced by the partnership relationship. Based on the results of theresearch, it is recommended to increase the extension to increase knowledge offarmers related to vegetable agribusiness.

Abstract

Analysis of Operating Revenues Peanut Crisp at UD Sari Murni Carangsari Village Petang District of Badung RegencyMicro, small and medium enterprises in Indonesia is growing very rapidly. Crunchy peanut businesses began to flourish in Badung Regency. The magnitude of the difference between the needs and abilities of the crunchy peanut production is a lucrative business opportunity. One of them is UD Sari Murni. The profit analysis is generally used to evaluate the activity of an industrial business in  a particular period. The purpose of this study was to determine the number and the value of sales of crunchy peanut at UD Sari Murni and its profits earned. The period of data used in this study was the data for one year of 2014.The results of the research showed that UD. Sari Murni is classified as small business, labor-intensive and agriculture-based company. The growth of labor of UD Sari Murni in 2010 through 2014 amounted to 1.25% with an average percentage increase in employment amounted to 21.25%. UD Sari Murni has a vision and mission which are the requirements of a company.There are three processes of the crunchy peanut production cycle at UD Sari Murni, namely: the provision of raw materials, production processes and packaging, as well as crunchy peanut sales process. Patterns of production used by UD Sari Murni were a combination of  constant pattern and fluctuated pattern. Profits earned by UD Sari Murni wasRp.242,096,028.33. But there were still technical obstacles i.e. lack of raw materials, labor shortages, and inadequate processing technology,as well as the presence of obstacles in the social aspect, which is associated with religious ceremonies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Factors Affecting the Frequency of Shopping Customers Fresh Food Products at Tiara Dewata Denpasar The experiment aimed to determine the factors that affect the frequency of customer shopping fresh food products at Tiara Dewata, to find a significant difference between customers who frequently shop and rarely go shopping, to determine what factors most influence the differences in the frequency of customers who frequently shop and rarely buy fresh food products Tiara Dewata. Selection of study sites deliberate. Data analysis method used in this research is the analysis Discriminant were processed using SPSS 13 software for windows. The results showed that there are three variables that affect the frequency of customer shopping fresh food products is support facilities, promotion, and comfort. There are significant differences (real) between groups often shop with a rare group shopping. The difference is that groups often shop has a good assessment of the three variables that affect the frequency of shopping for customers, while the group who rarely shopped have a poor assessment of the three variables that affect the frequency of customer shopping. It can be seen from the above group average values ??are often higher than the average value of the group rarely smaller. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Value Chain Of Granola Potatoes In The Candikuning Village, Sub-District Of Baturiti, Tabanan Regency The value chain of commodity of potetoes is all activities done to its distribution to the end consumers. The mean problems faced by the majority of horticultue farmers or long marketing distribution chain, obstacles in the supply of seeds, in ability to meet the consumer’s demands, the weakness of infrastructur, in adequate facilities, the unpredictable weather conditions, the perishable goods, and the price fluctuation. The objective of the study is to find out the value chain of commodity of potatoes in the Village of Candikuning, the Sub-district of Baturiti, Tabanan Regency. The production system that is carried out by the potato’s farmers starting from soil preparation to post harvest. The research findings show that there are four types of different marketing channels. The marketing margins for each type of marketing channels were also different. The first marketing channel margin was IDR 7.750 which was the biggest margin because of its lomger channel of distribution, while the smallest margin was for the fourth channel because of the shortest channel of distribution namely IDR.4.000. farmers are expected to make a stronger cooperation with the marketing institutions in order to get more information on price of product and to make a better coordination of product distribution to avoid price monopoly in the marketing channels of potatoes.
