There are seven principalâs roles in implementing character building the school. He or she should has a clear vision, rely on more collaborative approach, responsive and proactive in responding to what is happening outside of school, be consistent in enforcing the rules, be active, give  many social rewards, and create a variety of rides or activities that can develop pro-social skills and devotion of students.

Future educational challenges are related to technology, especially information and communications technology (ICT). The ICT has a very big influence to the learners. Many students have already used social media âfacebookâ and âtwitterâ, but not so with their teachers. The rapid globalization and ICT development requires a change in attitude and mindset of teachers and students, including in Teacher Training College (LPTK). A good approach is to integrate technology with education through blended learning models (BLM), that is learning that combines face-to-face learning activities and learning online through social media facebook. One of the advantages of BLM is to improve the interaction between learners, between learners and educators, and learners with different learning resources anytime and anywhere without being limited by space and time.

The integration of Islamic and science was done through integration-interconnected, referring to ontological, epistemological dan axiological perspectives. This paper will focus on the integration of Islam and science from axiological perspective. Â In the view of axiology, science is seen as neutral and value-free; the value of science is given by its users. This condition motivates Muslim scholars to reintegrate science and religion. The first attempt made is my giving ideas on the Islamization of science. The attempt to Islamize the science in the Islamic world is dilemmatic, whether to wrap western science with the label of Islam or Islamic, or transforming religious norms based the Qurâan and the Hadith to fit empirical data. Both strategies are difficult if the effort is not based on the critic of epistemology.

Thesis is a prerequisite for graduation in all academic institutions. Higher Education institutions, such as Imam Bonjol Islamic State Institute requires its students to write a thesis in order to graduate. Students write their theses and they were examined before the board of examiners. However, students found it difficult to write âgoodâ theses that show academic honesty and high level of originality. This is a big issue in our institution, this article, therefore examines factors that reduce originality of studentsâ theses. Having analysed over 10 theses using content analysis method, the authors found that almost all theses contain issues that reduces the originality of the theses. Students frequently commit structural plagiarism, in which they tend to follow the structure of their colleaguesâ theses, and only made minor changes. Other finding showed that in stating their research problem, students make a claim without appropriate justification. Issues of referencing and paraphrasing are two important issues that reduce qualities of studentsâ theses.
