Abstract

The effect of inulin on calcium phosphor ratio, growth performance, survival, and blood glucose level were evaluated on three ponds culture conditions. Each ponds, namely pond A, B and C consists of treatments A3, D1, D3, B1 (pond A); B3, A1, D2, C2 (pond B); and C1, B2, C3, A2 (pond C). Inulin was added onto feed at 0 (A), 1.25 (B), 2.5 (C), and 5.0 g kg feed−1 (D). Bioassays performed with treatments in triplicate, were conducted for 28 days. Feed supplemented with inulin at concentrations 1.25 g kg feed-1 improved calcium phosphor ratio, blood glucose level and growth performance in climbing gouramy fish. The prebiotic inulin increased growth performance and decreased blood glucose level in climbing gouramy fish at concentration of 1.25 g kg feed−1 is a good feed additive. Abstract

Climbing gouramy or Climbing perch (Anabas testudineus) is one freshwater fish species which of high economic value. The Climbing gouramis has the potential to be developed as an alternative food nutrition, when the environmental conditions are less supportive of aquaculture result pollotion as well as extreme conditios. The climbing gouramis spawning by the artificial stripping technique is one of alternative to increase of cultivation productivity. The fish spawning is by provided ovaprim hormone stimulation to accelerate gonad maturity, ovulations are by stripping technique. Based on the evaluation and monitoring at Balai Benih Ikan Sei Batang Kuala Kapuas with active participation out directly to fish spawning, the activities has several stages that are 1). Countainer preparation 2). Main selection 3). Pemberokan 4).Spawning 5). Treatment of larva. This activity is able to provide insight and knowledge as informations for the whole community on the spawning fish with artificial techniques. Keywords : Climbing gouramy/Climbing perch, spawning, stripping.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to inventory of fish economic value species in freshwaters Seruyan Regency. Observations and sampling were conducted at three stations that is, the station I (Seruyan Hilir), station II (Danau Sembuluh and Seruyan Raya), station III (hanau) by observing the catch of local fishermen. The study was conducted through desk study and field survey in Seruyan River, Seruyan District, Central Kalimantan Province. Based on the catch of fishermen, daily collection, the number of fish species found during the research took place from three stations as many as 25 species from 13 families. Bagridae family (one species), Anabantidae (four species), Channidae (three species), Cyprinidae (five species), Eleotridae (one species), Synbranchydae (one species), Siluridae (four species), Osphronemidae (one species), Pangasidae (one species), Botiidae (one species), Family Notopteridae (one species), Pangasidae (one species) and Palaemonoidae (one species). Based on these results the cyprinidae family is the most caught family. Keywords : Inventory, Fish Species, Freshwaters, Seruyan Rivers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of ectoparasites that attack Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and to determine the level of intensity, prevalence and dominance of ectoparasites. The method used in this study is a survey method with a sampling technique used to inventory the parasites found in Tilapia. The method of data collection was carried out by the field observation method which was carried out in the floating net cages belonging to the community residing in the waters of Lake Sembuluh, Lake Sembuluh I. Observation of ectoparasites was carried out in the external section of the Tilapia, namely the scales, mucus fins and gills. This research was conducted in April - July 2019. The parameters observed in this study included identification of the types of ectoparasites that attacked and the prevalence of ectoparasites in Tilapia and water quality as supporting data. The research data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there were 3 types of ectoparasites identified, namely Dactylogirus sp, Tricodina sp and Argulus. The average prevalence of ectoparasites that attacked fish in the cage was Trichodina at 87.67%, Dactylogyrus at 60.00% and Argulus at 43.33%. if the value of water quality, the condition of Lake Sembuluh's water quality is not good, this can be seen from the high value of ammonia, which ranges between 0.02 - 0.10 mg / l and BOD 4.54 - 5.55 ppm. Keywords : Sembuluh, Tilapia, ectoparasites, identification, prevalence

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the addition of Pluchea indica less leaves extracts to the optimal feed and dosage in commercial feed on growth and survival rate (survival) of catfish seedlings. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 (three) treatments, namely treatment P1 Feeding with the addition of leaf extracts of Pluchea indica less as much as 5 ml / kg of feed, P2 treatment 10 ml / kg of feed and P3 treatment of 15 ml / kg of feed. The parameters observed were relative weight growth, survival rates (survival). The results showed that the administration of Pluchea indica less leaves to the feed had a significant effect on the growth of Catfish (Pangasius hypopthalamus) seeds where the highest treatment was in the P3 (15 ml / kg of feed) treatment of 100.13% followed by P2 (10 ml / kg of feed treatment) ) amounting to (80.35%) and treatment P1 (5 ml / kg of feed) amounting to (58.12%). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of combined dose of biochar residue from rice husk and NPK fertilizer on growth and production of Mexican grass (Euchlaena mexicana) in the second year and to determine the combination dose of biochar residue of rice husk and NPK fertilizer which gives the best results on the growth and production of grass Mexico in the second year. This study was designed using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single treatment of various doses of residual combination of rice husk biochar and NPK fertilizer (B) with 5 replications, namely b0 = 0 without biochar rice husk and NPK fertilizer (control), b1 = 5 tons ha -1 residue of rice husk biochar + 75% recommended dosage, b2 = 10 tons ha-1 rice husk biochar residue + 50% recommended dose and b3 = 15 tons ha-1 wood biochar + 5 tons ha-1 cow manure. The results of this study are that the combination dosage of rice husk biochar residues and NPK fertilizer does not affect the growth and production of Mexican grass in the second year. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of various mixtures of commercial rations, yellow corn and fermented rice bran with different protein content on the appearance of finisher phase broiler chickens. This research was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with A treatment of 20% protein level (86.89% BR-1, 8.74% yellow corn, 4.37% fermented rice bran) B treatment of 19% protein level (78.15% BR-1, 14.57% yellow corn, 7.28% fermented rice bran) C treatment 18% protein level (61.41% BR-1, 20.39% yellow corn, 10.20% rice bran fermentation) treatment D 17% protein level (60.66% BR-1, 26.23% yellow corn, 13.11% fermented rice bran) each treatment was repeated 5 times so that there were 20 experimental units. The parameters observed were body weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion and final body weight. The results showed the administration of a mixture of commercial rations, yellow corn and fermented rice bran significantly affected the body weight gain of broiler chickens week 4 and week 5, feed conversion to week 4 and final body weight. Significantly influences body weight gain at week 6 and conversion of week 5 rations. No effect on consumption at week 4, week 5, week 6 and feed conversion at week 6. Keywords : Broiler chicken, fermented rice bran, yellow corn, and protein.
