Abstract

The objective of this study is to apply Neural Networks (NN) model for forecasting Indonesian inflation and to compore a result with ARIMA ond ARIMAX models. The Feedforward Neural Networks model used for forecasting, particularly in economics and finance.

Abstract

This research will briefly test whether financing decision of go public companies in, Jakarta Stock Exchange based on pecking order theory or static trade off theory. The source of data are from financial report of 158 manufacture companies in Jakarta Stock Exchange from 1998 to 2002.

Abstract

This paper draws the prospect of regionalism among financial market in East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea). The first part examines the correlation among them that lead to regional integration. The second part shows the possibility of integration or segmentation between East Asia countries and world. The next part, tries to draw whether last financial crises 1997 gave different result to the integration process.

Abstract

PT Boma Bisma Indra (BBI) b manufacturing company with make-to-order (MTO) production strategy. This research designs manufacturing information system to make integration between proposal and product realization process by using database and information network digitally at BBI. BBI has a product delivery problem. Based on current reality tree (CRT) this problem is caused by tardy of information stream from one function to the other functions.

Abstract

Advertisement function is informative, persuasive, and remind. Referring to these functions and its role, nature of informativeness (ability inform), believable (credible) and something that facilitates people to remember, for example by giving entertainment amusement for audiences, representing determinant in develop; building attitude such as like the (Positive) or do not like the (negative) somebody at the advertisement. This research conducted at advertisement Nokia in web (internet) with the responder of students of Airlangga University visiting minimum sites web cell phone Nokia ones. This research proves that assessment of student of Airlangga University for informativeness, entertaint and credibility of an advertisement have an effect on the attitude of Student of Airlangga University for adVertisement Nokia in web.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of organizational behavior factors on employees' performance. Organizational behaviors factors include are employee's motivation, leadership, working discipline, and behavior. This research's object is employees on subsection level in PT. Bogasari Flour Mill. PT. Bogasari Flour Mill was chosen as the place for this research because this company produces food ingredient that is exported, thus it gives a contribution in foreign exchange earning for the country. The result of this research can explain that motivation and leadership affect one's behavior, working discipline, and performance. Motivation and leadership patterns are very much needed to lead employee's behavior in order to generate the maximum performance. The more positive employee's behavior they get hopefully the faster the company's short/long term goal will be achieved. Along with the achievement the company's goal there will be an effect on improvement of employee's working satisfaction and welfare.
