Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi dan keanekaragaman lamun di Perairan Teluk Tomini Desa Lamu Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Maret 2016 sampai Bulan November 2016. Lokasi penelitian dibagi menjadi tiga stasiun penelitian dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode line transect dengan menggunakan plot ukuran 1m x 1m. Analisis data meliputi komposisi jenis dan keanekaragaman jenis lamun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jenis Cymodocea rotundata memiliki nilai komposisi tertinggi (80,05%) dan Halophilas pinulosa memiliki nilai komposisi terendah (0,05%) pada ketiga stasiun penelitian dan nilai indeks keanekaragaman lamun pada Stasiun I (0,24), Stasiun II (0,41), Stasiun III (0,31) dan secara keseluruhan berdasarkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman lamun di lokasi penelitian masuk dalam kategori keanekaragaman rendah. This study aims to determine the composition and diversity of seagrass in Tomini Bay Waters, Lamu Village, Batudaa Subdistrict, Gorontalo District. This research was conducted in March 2016 to November 2016. The research location was divided into three research stations and the method used was the line transect method using a plot of 1m x 1m size. Data analysis includes species composition and seagrass diversity. The results showed that the Cymodocea rotundata had the highest composition value (80.05%) and Halophilas pinulosa had the lowest composition value (0.05%) at all three research stations and the seagrass diversity index value at Station I (0.24), Station II (0.41), Station III (0.31) and overall based on seagrass diversity index values in the study sites included in the category of low diversity. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan tanin pada daun, buah dan kulit batang mangrove S. alba yang diuji menggunakan metode fitokimia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2016. Penelitian ini meliputi ekstraksi yang dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut metanol dan identifikasi kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yaitu tanin yang diuji menggunakan metode fitokimia. Hasil penelitian identifikasi senyawa tanin dengan metode fitokimia menggunakan FeCl3 menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak buah, daun dan kulit batang mangrove S. alba positif mengandung senyawa tanin. This study aims to determine the presence of tannins in the leaves, fruit and bark of S. alba mangrove which were tested using phytochemical methods. This research was conducted from April to May 2016. The research included extraction which was carried out by maceration method using methanol as a solvent and identification of secondary metabolite compounds, namely tannins, which were tested using phytochemical methods. The results of the identification of tannin compounds by phytochemical methods using FeCl3 showed that the extract of fruit, leaves and stem bark of S. alba mangrove positively contained tannin compounds. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan cacing sutera (Tubifex sp.) dengan dosis berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan black molly (Poecilia sphenops). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di balai benih ikan kota Gorontalo selama 35 hari pada bulan November - Januari 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil analisis varian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan cacing sutera berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan black molly dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup benih ikan black molly. Perlakuan B (10% Tubifex sp.) memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik dengan pertumbuhan mutlak sebesar 0,32 gram dan kelangsungan hidup sebesar 84,44%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of feeding silk worm (Tubifex sp.) at different doses on the growth and survival of black molly fish (Poecilia sphenops) seeds. This research was conducted at the Gorontalo City Fish Seed Hall for 35 days in November - January 2016. This study used an experimental method. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and repeated 3 times. The results of the analysis of variance showed that silk worm feeding significantly affected the growth of black molly fish seeds and significantly affected the survival of black molly fish seeds. Treatment B (10% Tubifex sp.) Gave the best growth with absolute growth of 0.32 grams and survival of 84.44%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui masa simpan produk stik rumput laut Kappaphaycus alvarezii difortifikasi dengan tepung udang rebon (Mysis sp.) dalam kemasan polipropilen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2015 sampai dengan Januari 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT) melalui model Arrhenius produk disimpan pada suhu (30ºC, 40ºC dan 50ºC). Analisis yang digunakan adalah pengukuran nilai Thiobarbituric Acid (TBA). Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa umur simpan stik udang rebon pada tiga suhu penyimpanan sesuai batas kritis nilai TBA produk pangan oleh FDA (Food Drug Administration) United States berdasarkan reaksi ordo nol, jika disimpan pada suhu 30ºC umur simpannya adalah 138,88 hari, pada suhu 40ºC umur simpannya adalah 133,96 hari, dan pada suhu 50ºC umur simpannya adalah 129,49 hari. This study aims to determine the shelf life of Kappaphaycus alvarezii seaweed stick fortified by rebon shrimp flour (Mysis sp.) in polypropylene packaging. The study was conducted from December 2015 to January 2016. The method used was Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT) through the Arrhenius model the products were stored at temperatures (30ºC, 40ºC and 50ºC). The analysis used is the measurement of Thiobarbituric Acid (TBA) values. The results of the study concluded that the shelf life of rebon shrimp sticks at three storage temperatures is in accordance with the critical limit of TBA values of food products by the United States FDA (Food Drug Administration) based on zero order reaction, if stored at 30ºC the shelf life is 138.88 days, at 40ºC the shelf life is 133.96 days, and at 50ºC the shelf life is 129.49 days. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kendala pengelolaan usaha penangkapan ikan purse seine di Kelurahan Leato Selatan Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari Bulan Oktober 2016 sampai dengan Bulan Februari 2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif dan metode survey lapang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha kapal purse seine dalam kondisi layak secara ekonomis dan memiliki keuntungan yang cukup maksimal. Nilai produksi hasil tangkapan kapal pajeko (purse seine) ukuran 17 GT adalah Rp. 164.600.000/tahun, ukuran 20 GT adalah Rp. 81.800.000/tahun. Masalah yang dihadapi nelayan purse seine cukup kompleks. Sistem pengelolaan usaha penangkapan ikan purse seine terdiri dari persiapan armada kapal, persiapan alat tangkap, penentuan fishing ground, proses penangkapan, pendistribusian hasil tangkapan dan sistem bagi hasil. The purpose of this study was to determine the obstacles of managing a purse seine fishing business in Kelurahan Leato Selatan, Gorontalo City. This research took place from October 2016 to February 2017. The method used in this research is descriptive method and field survey method. The results showed that the purse seine business was in an economically viable condition and had a maximum profit. The production value of the catch of a Pajeko (purse seiner) size of 17 GT is Rp. 164,600,000 / year, the size of 20 GT is Rp. 81,800,000 / year. The problem faced by purse seine fishermen is quite complex. The management system of purse seine fishing business consists of the preparation of a fleet of ships, preparation of fishing gear, determination of fishing ground, the process of catching, distribution of catches and profit sharing systems.
