Abstract

This paper discusses the development of a Canva application audio based on visual learning media in the Fiqh learning material in the fifth grade at SDI Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan. The method used in the research is a developmental research approach, which consists of initial analysis, material identification, product development, and testing. After the product was developed, the feasibility assessment was carried out by the expert to evaluate the media design, content alignment, design completeness, and attractiveness. The expert assessment results show that audio-visual learning media design based on Canva obtained a score of 83 percent in the good category. Limited students’ feedback also indicates a score of 77,13 percent with the good category. Based on theassessments from experts and students, it can be concluded that this Canva-based audio-visual learning media is suitable for use in the experimental school. The field trial results indicate a score of 66.25 percent in the first cycle and 81 percent in the second cycle. The increased percentage of students’ learning outcomes shows that they better understand Fiqh learning material by applying audio-visual learning media based on the Canva application, which has good criteria. Therefore, this developed media can be applied, either in online or offline learning

Abstract

This paper indicates the problems that were conducted by direct survey in the research field. The difficulties in reading problems are found in the first-grade students in teaching and learning activities (KBM). It is intended to describe students’ reading difficulties and the teacher's role in overcoming reading difficulties for the first-grade students in one of the elementary schools in Perhentian Luas. The research method used in the research is a qualitative case study method. The location of the research was at SDN 001 Perhentian Luas. The sources of the research consisted of two teachers and eight first-grade students through observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. To test the data validity using triangulation and data analysis techniques by the Miles And Huberman model, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions were used. The research results come from there were eight first-grade elementary students who had difficulty reading. The types of difficulties experienced by students were lack of memory, difficulty in spelling, difficulty in pronouncing letters, errors in substituting letters, and less familiarity with letters. The teacher's role in overcoming reading difficulties for grade I elementary students as an educator is to remind, train, assist, and assist in directing students and guiding students in the learning process. As a motivator, teachers motivate students to make students more confident in class. As a facilitator, teachers provide interesting and effective lesson plans as well as media to attract students' attention while studying. As a demonstrator, teachers master science and knowledge first, then convey it by applying teaching and learning methodslike the spelling method while learning reading. And lastly, as an evaluator, teachers provide an evaluation and follow-up learning activity for students when the activity is over.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is invariably found and taught on every level of education unit. Nevertheless, most of the students assume that mathematics is the most difficult learning subject compared to other learning subjects. This paper is intended to explain the influence that occurs on the Wordwall game on elementary students’ learning interest inmathematics and describe students' learning interest in Mathematics. The method used in the research is to use quantitative methods with experimental research in the form of pre-test and post-test. The research subjects were the fifth-grade students at SD Islam Subulussalam, SDN02 Cijoro Lebak, SDN Kampungbaru. The researchers took a total sample of 37 students using the purposive sampling technique. In terms of the statistical data analysis, the results were obtained after applying the treatment. The results, which was the sig value of 0.006<0.05, indicate that there were differences before and after applying treatment. The research results reveal that the Wordwall educational game has an effect on the fifth-grade students’ learning interest at SD Islam Subulussalam, SDN 02 Cijoro Lebak, SDN Kampungbaru on Mathematics learning subjects, especially in multiplication and division learning material. Thus, it can beconcluded that between variables Wordwall and students’ learning interest, both have an effect, provide a description regarding the conducted research, and are written clearly and completely.
