Abstract

This research aims to develop a Canva-based audiovisual learning media application for the subject of Fiqh in the fifth grade of SDI Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan. The method used in this research is a development research approach consisting of initial analysis, material identification, product development, and testing stages. After the product is developed, experts evaluate its suitability by assessing the media design, content alignment, design completeness, and attractiveness. The expert assessment results show that the Canva-based audiovisual learning media design obtains a score of 83 percent, categorizing it as good. Limited student feedback also indicates a score of 77,13 percent, categorizing it as good. Based on the assessments from both experts and students, it can be concluded that this Canva-based audiovisual learning media is suitable for use in the experimental school. The field trial results indicate a score of 66,25 percent in the first cycle and 81 percent in the second cycle. The percentage increase in student learning outcomes shows that they have a better understanding of Fiqh subjects when using audiovisual learning media based on the Canva application which has good criteria. Therefore, this developed media can be used for both online and offline learning.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how Islam views the profession of begging with the aim of fulfilling basic needs. This research is a library research study using a descriptive analytical approach. The results of this research explain that begging behavior is not only caused by a person's inability to fulfill their basic needs (Hifdz an-Nafs), but is also caused by a desire to save or have wealth in a practical way. Therefore, in Islam the law makes begging as a profession either halal or haram, depending on the conditions and circumstances. However, Islam strictly prohibits its followers from begging except in emergency situations and forces its followers to work to meet their needs

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter adalah sistem yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral, etika, serta spiritual dalam membentuk kepribadian seorang individu. Dalam bidang pendidikan dasar pengembangan karakter melalui nilai-nilai agama yang memiliki peranan krusial dalam membentuk generasi yang berintegritas. Dalam era digital tantangan terhadap pendidikan karakter semakin kompleks dengan paparan konten negatif dan pengaruh media sosial. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pustaka untuk mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber yang relevan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum tematik dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dapat memperkuat nilai-nilai positif. seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab dan kepemimpinan. Kolaborasi guru, orang tua dan masyarakat sangat diperlukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung. Dengan menggunakan strategi yang tepat pendidikan karakter dapat membekali anak-anak dengan keterampilan sosial dan emosional yang baik, memungkinkan mereka untuk berkembang menjadi individu yang kuat dan bertanggung jawab di tengah tantangan digital.

Abstract

Nishfu Sya’ban Night is a significant moment in Islamic tradition, holding various spiritual virtues. This report discusses the importance of utilizing Nishfu Sya’ban Night to enhance religious values and the quality of worship among the community, particularly in Branta Pesisir Village. A Participatory Action Research (PAR)-based program was implemented to raise awareness and understanding of this special night, strengthen Islamic brotherhood, and prepare residents spiritually for Ramadlan. Through a series of activities, such as Yasin recitation, communal prayers, lectures, and interactive discussions, there was a significant improvement in the quality of worship, community involvement in religious activities, and social solidarity. The program’s positive impact was evident in the residents’ enthusiasm to continue religious traditions on other Islamic occasions. Nishfu Sya’ban Night serves as a strategic moment to strengthen relationships with Allah SWT and fellow humans, ultimately fostering positive spiritual transformation in the community’s life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of lecturers' communication style on students' understanding in online learning, with a focus on verbal and non-verbal communication styles, the use of technology, and collaborative and adaptive approaches. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire completed by 200 students from various universities in Indonesia. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between lecturer communication style variables and student understanding. The results showed that verbal communication style had the most dominant influence on student understanding, with a contribution of 35%. Non-verbal communication style and the use of technology each contributed 20% and 25%, while collaborative and adaptive communication styles contributed 18% and 22%. These findings confirm that a combination of clear delivery of material, effective use of technology, and a collaborative and adaptive approach can significantly improve student understanding. However, this study also identifies challenges such as the limitations of online platforms in displaying non-verbal communication and the digital divide among students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe classroom management practices and teachers' efforts to improve the quality of Islamic religious education learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and document studies for data collection. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, validation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that classroom management by teachers includes preparation of essential teaching skills.  Teachers enhance classroom management through various approaches: discipline, reward and punishment, teaching, attitude, and group process. This research contributes to the academic understanding of classroom management implementation in Islamic religious education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.  In Islamic education, classroom management is a crucial skill for educators, aligning with the Prophet Muhammad’s SAW emphasis on purposeful, precise, and thorough efforts in teaching.

Abstract

Islamic education institutions had been in Indonesia since the earlier Islamic period.The growth of Islamic institution in Indonesia had been caused of influence of Sultansand ‘Wali Songo’. The one of the Islamic institution here is ‘Pondok Pesantren’. In theearlier colonial period, Pondok Pesantren had a big influence in the developing of humanresources in Indonesia especially in the field of education. Pondok Pesantren have beenmade many innovations in their characters of teaching and education. It always needs toanswer many challenges in the global era, in which the social problems become morecomplex. The article discusses about management of Pondok Pesantren NahdlatunNasyiin. In the case study, we found that (1) management of curriculum in PondokPesantren Nahdlatun Nasyiin is a combination model between formally governmentcurriculum and Pesantren curriculum; (2) Student, equipment and financemanagements in the Pesantren have used the open and modern management which applythe management functions; (3) in the management of social relation, they have appliedtraditional model in which the communication between ‘Madrasah’ and students’ parentsor society is still dominated by the Madrasah Committee.AbstrakLembaga pendidikan Islam telah ada di Indonesia sejak masa awal Islam diIndonesia. Pertumbuhan lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia disebabkanoleh pengaruh para sultan dan 'Wali Songo'. Salah satu lembaga Islam di siniadalah 'Pondok Pesantren'. Pada awal masa kolonial, Pondok Pesantrenmemiliki pengaruh besar dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia diIndonesia khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Pondok Pesantren telah membuatbanyak inovasi dalam karakter mereka dari pendidikan dan pengajaran. Adaberbagai tantangan di era global yang harus dijawab dan dihadapi, dimanamasalah sosial menjadi lebih kompleks. Artikel ini membahas tentangpengelolaan Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Nasyiin. Dalam penelitian studikasus ini, kami menemukan bahwa (1) manajemen kurikulum di PondokPesantren Nahdlatul Nasyiin adalah model kombinasi antara kurikulum resmipemerintah dan kurikulum Pesantren; (2) Manajemen siswa, sarana danprasarana dan keuangan di Pesantren menggunakan manajemen terbuka danmodern yang menerapkan fungsi manajemen; (3) dalam pengelolaan hubungansosial, pondok pesantren menerapkan model tradisional di mana komunikasiantara 'Madrasah' dan orang tua siswa atau masyarakat masih didominasi olehKomite Madrasah.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of character education in Islamic education to strengthen students' morals and ethics. In Islamic education, character education aims not only to transfer religious knowledge to students but also to prepare them to be virtuous individuals, possessing high morality, and practicing ethics in daily life. However, there are challenges in strengthening students' morals and ethics through character education, such as the negative influence of the surrounding environment, social media, and rapid social changes. This research uses a literature review method to support the understanding of character education in Islamic education. This article is expected to contribute to the understanding and development of character education in Islamic education. This article highlights the importance of character education in Islamic education and several factors that influence it, such as the role of teachers, teaching methods, the role of family and community, assessment and evaluation, contextual character education programs, as well as policies and guidelines that support the implementation of character education.

Abstract

Kesenjangan pemahaman keagamaan di tingkat komunitas akar rumput, khususnya dalam aspek fikih ibadah dan kewanitaan, masih menjadi tantangan serius dalam pemberdayaan perempuan Muslim. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman fikih ibadah dan kewanitaan ibu-ibu Muslimah di Desa Seddur, Kecamatan Pakong, Kabupaten Pamekasan melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Pendekatan ini memungkinkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam seluruh proses mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga refleksi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pembinaan tematik, simulasi, diskusi kelompok, dan penyusunan modul kontekstual berbasis pengalaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta terkait thaharah, wudu, tayamum, salat, haid, nifas, dan istihadhah. Peserta tidak hanya mampu memahami teori, tetapi juga mempraktikkan ibadah secara tepat sesuai tuntunan fikih mazhab Syafi’i. Selain itu, pengabdian ini membentuk ruang belajar yang aman dan inklusif bagi perempuan, mengurangi kesenjangan literasi keagamaan, serta mendorong lahirnya komunitas pengajian kecil berbasis lokal. Evaluasi formatif dan sumatif menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rasa percaya diri peserta dalam menjalankan ibadah dan membimbing anggota keluarga. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas mampu menghadirkan solusi yang aplikatif, relevan, dan berkelanjutan dalam konteks pemberdayaan keagamaan perempuan di desa. Hasil ini dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan tantangan serupa sebagai model pengabdian yang transformatif.

Abstract

This study discusses the effectiveness of teaching and the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers from the perspective of educational psychology. Islamic Religious Education, taught at various educational levels, has unique characteristics and content compared to other subjects. Islamic Religious Education teaching emphasizes spiritual and social attitudes, requiring effective teaching approaches. Islamic Religious Education teachers must possess professionalism that includes professional, pedagogical, personal, and social competencies. Teacher professionalism is directly related to their ability to teach effectively, which impacts students' academic achievement. Effective teaching involves a deep understanding of the material, selection of teaching strategies, thorough planning, as well as skills in classroom management, student motivation, and the use of technology. This study uses a literature review method to examine relevant literature on Islamic Religious Education teaching and teacher professionalism, identifying psychological elements that support effective teaching. The results show that professional Islamic Religious Education teachers are those who master various aspects of teaching and the psychological skills needed to create an effective and conducive learning environment.
