The methods and background introduced in this article concern on the interpretation of the Quranic text in English translation using word sense disambiguation. Three measures of semantic similarity measures: Wu-palmer, Lin and Jiang-Conrath, and their combination were used to identify words sense on the English Quranic text, in which comparison and detailed evaluation was carried out. The finding results showed that the WuâPalmer approach determine the similarity of senses as the most accurate, followed by the Lin, and JiangâConrath. However, the combination of these measurements (novel method) achieves higher accuracy in comparison with the individual result of each measure before.

Reducing energy consumption is a critical issue in the design of battery-powered real time systems to prolong battery life. With dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) processors, energy consumption can be reduced efficiently by making appropriate decisions on the processor speed/voltage during the scheduling of real time tasks. Scheduling decision is usually based on parameters which are assumed to be crisp. However, in many circumstances the values of these parameters are vague. The vagueness of parameters suggests that to develop a fuzzy logic approach to reduce energy consumption by determining the appropriate supply-voltage/speed of the processor provided that timing constraints are guaranteed. Intensive simulated experiments and qualitative comparisons with the most related literature have been conducted in the context of dependent real-time tasks. Experimental results have shown that the proposed fuzzy scheduler saves more energy and creates feasible schedules for real time tasks. It also considers tasks priorities which cause higher system utilization and lower deadline miss time.

MPC is a computer based technique that requires the process model to anticipate the future outputs of that process. An optimal control action is taken by MPC based on this prediction. The MPC is so popular since its control performance has been reported to be best among other conventional techniques to control the multivariable dynamical plants with various inputs and outputs constraints. In this paper the performance of an MPC controller on a single stage of milling train of sugar mill is analyzed. A linear model of the plant is taken with flap position and turbine speed set point as manipulated variables and mill torque and buffer chute height as controlled variables. The set point tracking responses are compared for constrained and unconstrained cases. The effect of presence of unmeasured disturbance also is investigated.

In this work we want to propose a control strategy to maximize the wind energy captured in a variable speed wind turbines, for this goal the speed of turbine should keep in optimum speed when the wind speed is changing. Many control approach has been suggested that is base on approximate models that it causes unsuitable behavior of system because of Uncertainty parameters of the system. Hence at this work we use adaptive robust control approach that it can to compensate Uncertain of the parameters and present a smooth system with maximum energy production. Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness and validity of the proposed approach.

This paper discusses various methods for testing the performance of MEMS capacitive comb-finger accelerometers manufactured by Sandia National Laboratories. The use of Capacitive MEMS devices requires complex circuits for measurement of capacitance and the Sandia MEMS accelerometerâs capacitance changes in a very small femto-farad (fF) range. The performance of accelerometer is tested using Analog Devices AD7747 sigma-delta capacitance to digital converter. The response of a MEMS capacitive accelerometer to various tests is useful for testing and characterization and investigate itâs suitability for various applications.

Based on the portable systems application, it is necessary to design blocks with high efficiency to increase battery lifetime. Power amplifier is the highest power consumption block in transmitter. The proposed circuit was simulated using ADS Agilent based on 0.18 μmμm TSMC RF CMOS technology and supply voltage of 3.3V on transistor level. The proposed power amplifier was designed by Class F type at 1800 MHz with 60% efficiency and output powers of 30 dBm.

In this paper, we propose a combined methodology of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and data envelopment analysis (DEA) in order to apply it to multivariate analysis and integrated evaluation. With FAHP method, the relative importance levels of different available indicators are determined. And the DEA model is used to obtain the efficiency performances of the use case of network measurement. Finally network performance is evaluated by means of integrating available indicator weights with efficiency performances. It is quite important that the integrated methodology considers both personal preferences and objective relative efficiency for assessment simultaneously to avoid the bias of single methodology.

Location-based services can provide personalized services based on location information of moving objects and have already been widely used in public safety services, transportation, entertainment and many other areas. With the rapid development of mobile communication technology and popularization of intelligent terminals, there will be great commercial prospects to provide location-based services under mobile cloud computing environment. However, the high adhesion degree of mobile terminals to users not only brings facility but also results in the risk of privacy leak. The paper introduced the necessities and advantages to provide location-based services under mobile cloud computing environment, stressed the importance to protect location privacy in LBS services, pointed out new security risks brought by mobile cloud computing, and proposed a new framework and implementation method of LBS service. The cloud-based LBS system proposed in this paper is able to achieve privacy protection from the confidentiality of outsourced data and integrity of service results, and can be used as a reference while developing LBS system under mobile cloud computing environment.

MCML (MOS Current Mode Logic) is a method used for the purpose of reducing the delay and power of the circuit. In high speed application this method is used to reduce the power. In this method the sleep transistor is inserted in series with the supply voltage (or) current source to reduce the power. Different power gating techniques are been used to reduce the static power and to improve the speed and efficiency of the circuit. In this paper, the filter can be designed by using MCML logic. Here we are introducing the fourth order band pass filter by using MCML logic. In order to reduce the power and delay this method is proposed.

In this paper interleaving and switched-capacitor techniques are used to introduce a high step-up DC-DC converter for renewable energy systems application. The proposed converter delivers high voltage gain without utilizing transformer or excessive duty cycle and features ripple-free input current which results in lower conduction losses and decreased electromagnetic interference (EMI). Lower output capacitance is another advantage of proposed converter, leading to smaller size and lower cost. Furthermore lower voltage stress on switches allows the utilization of switches with low resistance. Simulation results verify the performance of suggested converter.
