Abstract

AbstractThis study to determine the effect of the amount of sugar and pectin to the quality of rosella flower butter. This study uses a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with factorial (2) of two replicates. Factor I is the amount of sugar with a password (G) consisting of 4 standard, namely: G0 = 45%, G1 = 50%, G2 = 55% and G3 = 60%. Factor II is the amount of pectin with a password (P) which consists of four standards are: P1 = 0.2%, P2 = 0.4%, P3 = P4 = 0.6% and 0.8%. The parameters observed include: TSS, levels of Vitamin C, total acid, organoleptic taste and texture.Keywords: sugar, pectin, butter, rosella

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the growth and production of watermelon caused by bayfolan fertilizer and manure cow used Group Randomized Design factorial with two factors. The results showed that the use of bayfolan fertilizers significant influence on all parameters except the observation of the fruit diameter. While the treatment of cattle manure only had a marked influence on the age parameters of harvest, and no significant effect on other parameters. For the interaction between the two treatments, namely the provision of bayfolan fertilizer and manure cow showed no significantly different effect on all parameters of the observations. Abstract

AbstractThis study to determine the growth response of several types of clones of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) with an organic fertilizer in polybag. The design used was Randomized Design Group factorial with two factors were studied, namely: organic fertilizer factor which is denoted by the letter "O" and the stage is divided into 3 = without giving Oo, O1 = Amazing Bio Fertilizer Growth (ABG) and O2 = Super Bionic Fertilizer and Cocoa varieties factor denoted by the letter "K" is divided into three types: TSH 858 = K1, K2 = K3 = RCC 70 and PA 300. Organic fertilizer as the first factor and the varieties of cocoa as a second factor, while the parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), stem diameter (mm), leaf area (cm), root wet weight (g), weight wet bars (g), root dry weight (g), stem dry weight (g) and root volume (cc).Keywords:organic fertilizer, clone, cocoa, polybag

Abstract

AbstractThe study was conducted to obtain the proper concentration of humagoldand  agrobost fertilizer in promoting growth and production of corn. Using a factorial randomized block design each treatment Ao = without agrobost,  A1 = 15 cc / l of water,  and A2  = 30 cc / l of water,  is the first factor. The second factor treatment,  Ho = without humagold, H1  = 15 cc / l of water, H2  = 30 cc / l of water. The results showed agrobost fertilizers 30 cc / l of water,  ( A2 )  obtained the highest results of observations of plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, weight and length of cob, while humagold  fertilizer and interaction with agrobost and humagold have a real influence / very real at all parameter observations.

Abstract

AbstractResearch on the role of women farmers towards the implementation of agricultural extension program has been carried out using a simple random method (Simple Random Sampling). The results of hypothesis testing and calculation of Multiple Linear Regression Obtained by Multiple R value of 0.94 or 94%. Calculated F values obtained for 52.405 and table F value of 2.70. Then F calculated> F table, the 95% confidence level. The test results with the t test for age significantly influenced the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained 2.215 and 1.71 t table (t count> t table). The test results with the t test for education does not significantly affect the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained -4.360 and 1.71 t table (t calculated <t table). The test results with the t test for experience not significantly affect the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained 0.547 and 1.71 t table (t calculated <t table). The test results with the t test for the number of dependents significantly affect the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained 3.205 and 1.71 t table (t count> t table). The analysis of different test average of 8.095 and obtained t count obtained t t table table 1.70, this means that there are differences in the implementation of agricultural extension program among female farmers with male farmers.Keyword: women farmers, agricultural extension, the role of women

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to evaluate the growth response of cocoa seedlings by stripping the pulp and seed husks in cocoa and Bayfolan fertilizer. The design used was factorial randomized block design  with two factors were studied, namely: Seed Treatment Factor (K) consists of three levels, ie K1 = stripping lime pulp with water immersion, K2 = stripping pulp by rubbing ashes, K3 = partial stripping of the epidermis, and the provision of fertilizer Bayfolan factor (B) is divided into three levels, namely B1 = 2 ml / liter of water, B2 = 3 ml / liter of water, and B3 = 4 ml / liter of water. While the parameters measured were plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, leaf area, wet weight and wet weight on the bottom. The results showed that seed treatment showed a marked influence on plant height parameters ages 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks after moving planting (MSPT), the number of leaf age of 4, 6 and 8 MSPT, and stem diameter MSPT age 8, but did not differ parameter significant at age 10 MSPT leaf number, stem diameter ages 4, 6 and 10 MSPT, leaf area, as well as wet weight. While the treatment of fertilizer Bayfolan showed different effects are not real at all parameter above observations. In the interaction shows a significantly different effect on the parameters of high-cocoa seedlings MSPT age 10, but not significant different in other observational parameters.Keywords: cocoa seedling, growth response,bayfolan, Theobroma cacao L.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to determine the level of understanding and caring campus community towards environmentally sustainable campus in the University Muhamadiyah North Sumatra. Some 408 respondents were interviewed using a questionnaire. The data is obtained has been analyzed using descriptive analysis, perception analysis, factor analysis and test data quality. The  results   showed   that   majority   of respondents    familiar with what is Environmentally sound campus or Eco-Campus. The descriptive analysis shows that the majority of respondents were aged 17-21 years, male, college students and recent high school education. In the analysis of the perception there are 403 respondents who know about environmentally sustainable campus while the rest do not. For the factor analysis KMO test value obtained for 0.891 (great for the meticulous sampling), commonality 0.464 to 0.715, total variance is 59.765, and the eigenvalue criterion of 59 percent. In the quality test data on the reliability of the test can be of value for Cronbach's Alpha 0.875 is greater than the basic standard Cronbach's Alpha  0.870 which can be deduced That the grains realibel questions. Based on the results of this study, environmentally sustainable campus can be a shared desire campus community at UMSU to get a cool atmosphere, beautiful and comfortable.Keywords: Perception, Campus environmentally sound, Eco-Campus

Abstract

AbstractGrowth response of Cocoa Seed (Theobroma cacao L.) has been conducted with provision of Bio-Fertilizer Biological extreme Planting In Various Media, using a randomized block design (RBD) factorial with two factors. The first factor is the various types of growing media M0: Soil Topsoil, M1: Land Topsoil + cow manure (1: 1), M2: Land Topsoil Compost + (1: 1). The second factor of liquid biological fertilizer (Bio-extreme) is E0: no treatment (control), E1: 5 cc / liter of water, E2: 10 cc / liter of water. Observation parameters of plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), stem diameter (mm), leaf area (cm), wet weight of the top and bottom of the plant (crown and root) (g). M2 treatment DMRT test results (soil + Compost Topsoil) showed an increase in plant growth 12MSPT age. Treatment of biological fertilizers and Bio-extreme (E) E2 treatment (10 cc / liter of water)) showed an increase in plant growth 12MSPT age. The interaction between M x E showed no obvious effect on all parameters of the observations. Abstract

AbstractThis study to determine the effect of Golden Harvest fertilizer and Rhizobium on growth and production of soybean (Glycine max L.). Implemented using the design of Plots Divided  factorial with two factors. The results showed that administration of Golden Harvest Fertilizer real influence on plant height parameters (2 and 3 MST MST), the number of branch age (4 and 6 MST MST), the age of flowering, harvest age, number of pods per plant contains, dry weight of 100 seeds and production per plot, but did not differ significantly to the age of 5 MST plant height, number of branches MST ages 2 and 3, the number of root nodules and the number of pods. Provision of Rhizobium give significantly different results at age 3 parameters plant height and number of branches MST MST age 4, but different is not real high on the plant age (2 and 4 MST MST), the number of branch age (2, 3, and 6 MST), age flowering, harvest age, the number of root nodules, the number of pods contain, the number of empty pods, and production per plot. And interactions between Golden Harvest Fertilizer and Rhizobium give significantly different results to the parameters age plant height and number of branches 6 MST MST age 5, but different is not real high on the plant parameter 2 s / d 5 MST, the number of branches of the age of 2, 3, 4 and 6 MST, the age of flowering, harvest age, the number of root nodules, contains a number of pods, number of empty pods, and production per plot.Keywords: Rhozobium, Golden Harvest, growth, soybean production

Abstract

  AbstractThis study aims to determine the growth and production of long beans (Vigna sinensis L) on the provision of bayfolan fertilizer and manure cow. The design used was Randomized Design Group factorial with two factors were studied, namely: Fertilizer Bayfolan factor which is denoted by the letter "B" and the stage is divided into 4 cc Bo = 0 (no provision), B1 = 2 cc / liter water, B2 = 4 cc / liter of water, and B3 = 6 cc / liter of water., and Cow manure factors are denoted by the letter "S" is divided into 4 standard, namely S0 = no treatment (control), S1 = 8 kg / plot, S2 = 16 kg / plot, and S3 = 24 kg / plot. Bayfolan fertilizer as the first factor and cow manure as a second factor, while the parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of branches (branches), the age of flowering (days), number of pods per plant (pods), pod length (cm) , and weight of pods (g). Interaction of treatment bayfolan fertilizer and cow manure showed significant differences in plant height parameter, namely the highest plant found in the combination treatment B1S2 (179.67 cm) and lowest in the combination of B0S0 (162.67 cm), the parameter that is the age old flowering flowering the fastest are in the B3S3 combination treatment (21.33 days) and age in combination B0S0 longest flowering (25.00 days). Then the parameters of pod length, pod longest B1S1 contained in the combination treatment (59.12 cm) and shortest on the combination of B0S0 (38.26 cm). And for the heaviest weight of pods found in the combination treatment B1S2 (46.65 g) and lowest in the combination of B0S0 and B0S2 (39.12 g)Keywords: fertilizer, bayfolan, manure cow, production growth, Vigna Sinencis L.
