Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of total nipagin and storage time on the quality of soybean milk. This research uses complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial with (2) two replication. Factor I is the total Nipagin with password (N) which consists of 4 standard, namely: N0 = 0%, N1 = 0.03%, N2 = 0.06% and N3 = 0.09%. Factor II is a password storage L (L), which consists of 4 standard, namely: L0 = 0 days, L1 = 5, L2 = 10 days and L3 =  15 days. Parameters analyzed were: pH, Protein, Fat, Organoleptic: aroma, and taste.Statistical analysis results on each parameter gives the following conclusion: the highest pH in treatment L1 6,165 and 4,346 low pH in treatment L3. 1,810% high protein in treatment N3 and 1,606% lowest protein found in treatment N0. 1,823% high protein in treatment L0 and 1,601% Protein lowest in treatment L3. 2,335% high fat in treatment N3 and low fat 2,227% in treatment N0. Highest fat 2,488% in treatment with the lowest fat L0 and 2,050% in treatment L3. Aroma highest in treatment N3 3,296 and 2,375 aroma lowest in treatment N0. Aroma highest in treatment L0 3,008 and 2,650 aroma lowest in treatment L3. Taste highest in treatment N3 3,525 and 3,062 low taste in treatment N0. Taste highest in treatment L0 3,800 and 2,762 low taste in treatment L3.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and yield production of 2 spinach variety on fertilizers application. The design used was split plot design with the first factor is spinach variety namely V1 and V2 and the second factor is the provision fertilizer namely P1 and P2. Variables measured result were growth persentation, plant height, number of leaf, planting leaf weight, planting root weight, planting steam weight. The result fertilizer application has significant effect on the variables of spinach variety, but another variables as plant height, number of leaf, leaf weight, root weight and steam weight weren’t significant effect. Keywords : spinach variety, fertilizer application, growth and production

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of organic (manure and compost) on the production of melon plants (Cucumis melo.L). The experimental design used was a non-factorial CRD with four types of treatment are: P0 = Without manure (control), P1 = manure cow manure, farmyard manure P2 = P3 = chicken manure and compost. Parameters measured were started flowering time, harvest time, fruit diameter, fruit weight and fruit diameter. The results showed that the treatment P0 yellow leaves, large stems, time starts to flower 23 days, the time of harvest life of 89.8 days, 0.15 kg fruit weight, fruit diameter of 9.2 cm and 1.35 cm thick flesh. P1 looks at the treatment of green leaves, large stems, time starts to flower 21 days, the time of harvest life of 78.8 days, 1.09 kg fruit weight, fruit diameter of 19.42 cm and 2.07 cm thick flesh. In the treatment of P2 looks green leaves, large stems, flowering age of 20 days, 76.8 days of harvest age, weight 1.18 kg fruit, fruit diameter and 20.49 cm by 2.71 cm thick flesh. At P3 treatment looks yellow leaves, small stems, flowering age of 22 days, 85.8 days of harvest age, weight 0.42 kg fruit, fruit diameter and 14.05 cm 1.98 cm thick flesh. Abstract

Hydrological analysis is an important stage in water resources development activities, where the output of the analysis will give an overview about water discharge (inflow) into reservoir which is hopefully the quantity of water can supply all human needs (outflow) and also determine the direction of water resources development strategy in a comprehensive indirectly. Utilization of Mock’s hydrological model is an approach to simulate and forecast the hydrological phenomenon that is occuring in the future using certain hydrological data recording. The main input of Mock’s hydrological model are semimonthly precipitation, evapotranspiration and parameters, while the output of model is water discharge. Microsoft excel was used in analysis of data. The optimal parameters of Mock’s hydrological model for regional water catchment area of Sempor Reservoir was obtained through the stages of calibration, verification and validation. The optimal parameters are water catchment area 44.158 km2; wet season infiltration coefficient 0.25; dry season infiltration coefficient 0.4; initial soil moisture 100 mm; soil moisture capacity 150 mm; initial groundwater storage 500 mm; groundwater recession constant 0.995. Keywords: Mock’s hydrological model, water discharge, Sempor Reservoir

Abstract

The research on the application of fertilizer ABG (Bio Amazing Growth) and compost on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L. Coss) has been carried out by using a randomized block design (RBD) consists of a two-factor factorial researched and 3 replications. ABG fertilizer treatments showed significant effect on the observed parameters such as plant height, leaf number and leaf area. But showed no real effect on the other parameters. Compost fertilizer treatments showed significant effect on all parameters except the parameter observations shoot root ratio shows no real effect. The interaction of fertilizer treatment and fertilizer Compost ABG showed significant effect on leaf area observed parameters, but the effect is not significant on the observation parameters plant height, number of leaves, root shoot ratio.Keywords: fertilizer ABG, compost, growth, production of green cabbage

Abstract

This study aims to determine the awarding of Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Manure Chicken on the growth and production of soybean and their interactions.Research using randomized block design (RBD) factorial with two factors. The first factor is the provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) consisting of 0 cc / liter of water (P0), 2 cc / l of water (P1), 4 cc / liter of water (P2) and 6 cc / l of water (P3), whereas as the second factor is the provision of Chicken manure (K) consisting of 0 kg / plant (K0), 2.5 kg / plot (K1), 5 kg / plot (K2) and 7.5 kg / plot (K3). The variables measured were plant height, number of branches, days to flowering, harvesting age, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant and dry weight of 100 seeds. For plant height was measured every 2 weeks starting from the age of 2 weeks after planting to flowering plants. keywords: Glycine max l Liquid Organic Fertilizer and  Manure Chicken.

Abstract

The objectives of this research was to study the effects of adding sugar concentrations and  the drying duration of  Water melon Fruit skin candy to quality aspects of  products. The study was conducted by using a Completed Randomized Design Factorial two factors and two reflications. The first factors were level  sugar concentration as G1=40%; G2=50%,G3=60%, and G4=70%. The second factors were the duration of drying as  L1= 10 hours, L2=12 hours, L3= 14 hours, and L4= 16 hours. The results showed that  the adding sugar concentrations caused  the different effect significantly to Total Soluble Solid (TSS), rendemen, moisture content, texture, and taste. The drying duration  caused  the different effect significantly to Total Soluble Solid (TSS), rendemen, moisture content, texture, and taste. Interaction effects of  factors did not cause the  different significantly to  the all parameters. The adding sugar concentrations  of 40%  and   drying duration  10 hours obtained the best quality of Water melon fruit skin candy.Keywords: sugar consentration, drying duration, quality of Water melon fruit skin candy

Abstract

Increased production of tilapia farming as the main priority can be done through the application of SWOT Analysis Method. The method involves review of business location and optimization of workforce to improve production. Method used in this research is case method. The research was conducted at Desa Ujung, Singkil, Aceh Singkil District, Aceh Province. The samples were taken using purposive sampling method. Data collection in this research consists of primary data taken from interview and analyzed using SWOT analysis method and secondary data obtained from Singkil SDO, Aceh Singkil district. The results of the research through descriptive SWOT analysis show that matrix value of internal factor at 0,33 while matrix value of external factor at 0,379, the use of  ST (Strengths and Threats) analysis indicates the company to be able to overcome the threats using the strengths from internal factor. Strategy used to gain long term opportunities can be done through utilization of internal strengths using diversification method. Keywords :Tilapia, SWOT Analysis, Internal Factor, External Factor.

Abstract

Prospects for agri-research purposes fermented soybean home industry is to determine the factors that affect demand and supply fermented soybean, in this study in terms of demand and supply. Sampling method using stratified random sampling. Analysis method using multiple linear regression. The results of the study for the simultaneous demand factor is no significant effect between the level of income, tastes, number of dependents and the expectation of future fermented soybean demand is equal to 95% and 82% for supply factors simultaneously which means no real effect between prices fermented soybean, soy price , technology, and government policy towards the fermented soybean offers Calculate the value of the F-count > F-table at the 95% confidence level. Partially for demand and supply factors affect the income variable with value t count>t table while the other variable demand factors (taste, number of dependents and future expectations), supply factors (fermented soybean prices, technology and government policy) has no effect with the calculated value of t-count<t-table at the 95% confidence level. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect Dura Oil Palm Seedlings Growth  and Variety DXP Simalungun ( Elaeis guineensis Jacq. ) Against Liquid Organic Fertilizer in the Main Nursery by using  Plots Separated ( RPT ) design which  the main plot is   varieties V1 and V2 = DXP Simelungun Dura varieties . Subplot factor is liquid organic fertilizer ( G ) are G1 = 1 ml / liter of water , G2 = 3 ml / liter of water , G3 = 5ml/liter water . There are 6 combination treatment was repeated 3 times resulted in 18 experimental units . The number of plants per plot 5 sample plants with 3 plants , 90 plants total number of plants with a total sample of 54 plants
