Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of chemical hydrolysis of the salt material using learning model Learning Cycle In Class XI Science Students SMA Negeri 1 Banjarnegara Academic Year 2011/2012. Research subjects class XI IPA-3. The process of learning chemistry in schools tends to focus on the teacher (teacher centered), textbook-centered, low learning outcomes with a mean 67 to 60% level learning outcomes have not reached complete study, the lack of ability of students to learn on their own and in groups so that the teacher as the source of learning dominant class. The action consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases: Plan, Perform Action, action observation, and reflection. Data analysis using descriptive analysis techniques comparative value of the learning cycle, second cycle and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of learning activities, the value of learning outcomes, learning ketuntasa learning activity increased in the first cycle (62.86%), cycle II (80%). Value of individual learning outcomes (cycle I, mean 67.71) and (cycle II, average 80.57). Mastery learning individually (cycle I, 42.82%) and (cycle II, 82.87%). Mastery learning in groups (cycle I, 62.5%) and (cycle II, 87.5%). Based on the data analysis and discussion of the research results, it can be concluded Learning Cycle teaching model to improve learning outcomes chemical hydrolysis of the salt material. Abstract

Civic education aims to build the understanding of citizen in doing their right and compulsory as the member of people in every single past of life. Beside that, the civic education also try to develop the though of citizen, that is the citizen who are able to show their maturity of attitude, act, activity, speech and thought. In this research, the writers apply descriptive method combined with qualitative approach. The technique of data collecting used in this research are by doing interview, observation, documentation study and literary study. According to the research result, the writers have gained some conclusions, they are : 1) During the study of civic education, teachers are often giving some chances to students show their argumentation about the problems or issue of citizenship; The issues of citizenship meant above possibly come from the students’ social environment or the environment in general. The aim of giving chance to students in showing their arguments is to develop the athmosphere of democracy; 2) the obstacles during the learning process of democracy concept are the limited knowledge and information of democratic attitude in giving/showing argumentation that students have; 3) By giving learning process about democracy concept, the students are treated to be accustomed with the democratic attitude in responding every problem raises in the school, citizen or even citizenship issues in the scope of national. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh minat belajar, gaya mengajar dan sikap disiplin terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar di Gugus Kartini Kecamatan Wonosobo; dan (2) mengetahui dan menganalisis variabel yang berpengaruh dominan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar di Gugus Kartini Kecamatan Wonosobo. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey, populasi penelitian 203 siswa sekolah dasar di Gugus Kartini. Sampel penelitian 70 siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Simpulan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut : 1. Minat belajar, gaya mengajar dan sikap disiplin mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Gugus Kartini Kecamatan Wonosobo. Dengan demikian apabila minat belajar, gaya mengajar dan sikap disiplin ditingkatkan, maka prestasi belajar siswa juga akan meningkat, dan berlaku sebaliknya. 2. Minat belajar mempunyai pengaruh paling dominan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Gugus Kartini Kecamatan Wonosobo dibandingkan gaya mengajar dan sikap disiplin. Implikasi dari hasil kesimpulan penelitian sebagai berikut : 1. Minat belajar, gaya mengajar dan sikap disiplin perlu ditingkatkan agar dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. 2. Peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa lebih diprioritaskan pada upaya meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan tetap memperhatikan gaya mengajar serta sikap disiplin siswa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui potensi degradasi lahan di Kecamatan Sumbang. Data untuk mengetahui potensi degradasi lahan berupa kemiringan lereng, penggunaan lahan dan penduduk diperoleh dari data sekunder dan primer untuk mengetahui tingkat toposequen, tingkat bahaya erosi dan tingkat tekanan penduduk terhadap lahan. Analisis data dengan cara skor dan analisisn keruangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daerah penelitian telah terdegradasi dari tingkat rendah hingga sangat tinggi. Potensi degradasi sangat tinggi berada yaitu Desa Gandatapa dan Ciberem, berpotensi sedang yaitu Desa Kotayasa ,Banjarsari wetan, Banjarsari kulon dan Sikapat sedangkan serta 13 Desa lainnya berpotensi degradasi renda hingga sedang. Desa yang berpotensi degradasi tinggi hingga sangat tinggi perlu mendapat perhatian dalam pengelolaan potensi desa yang berkelanjutna. Kata Kunci : Degradasi, Toposequen, Tekanan Penduduk dan Bahaya Erosi

Abstract

Stadium larvae of gourami fish are very sensitive because it has been not adapted well to the environment and their digestive system is also not perfect yet. Larvae do not have the stomach and their enzymatic activity is not optimal, so need a natural food in sufficient quantities. Proper feed formulation in addition to cost saving fish farmers are also desperately needed this study aims to determine the effect of Spirulina microalgae as a natural food with different weight and time of feeding on the growth and sustainability of gourami fish and to determine the formulation of a good natural food for fish larvae. This research used an experimental method with Split Plot Design in 3 times replication for each treatment combination microalgae cell concentrations as mainplot tested: 0, 50, 100, 150% of body weight and as a sub-plot was time of feeding: 1, 2 and 3 times per day. The results showed a feed formulations of Spirulina microalgae with different weight and timing of an effect on the growth of larvae compared with the control (giving Tubifex) and a natural feeding weighing 100% of body weight with a feeding time of 1 or 2 times to generate growth and survival of carp larvae Keywords: Spirulina platensis, weight, time of feeding, the larvae

Abstract

The study was aimed at describing the coherence of paragraphs written by the learners of Seminar Subject of Indonesian Language and Art Study Program – the Teacher Training and Education Faculty – the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The stated problems covered the quality of paragraph coherence and the factors that influenced the lack of coherence. Method in this study was descriptive quantitative-qualitative, involving the learners’ papers of the seminar subject, i.e the paragraphs available as the data source. The data were gathered through documentation technique, in which quantitative-qualitative analysis was applied; the quantitative analysis technique was used to describe the quality of coherence, whereas the qualitative analysis technique was implemented to describe the influential factors. Result of the study indicated that few paragraphs fell into the grades of ‘good’ and very good’. The finding also concluded that the learners were capable of developing coherent paragraph, though not yet optimum. Keywords: coherension, paragraph.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) to analyze influences of motivation for achievement, school climate, and job satisfaction partially toward Junior High School teachers performance in Komwil 02 Tegal Regency; and (2) to analyze the biggest effect factor among motivation for achievement, school climate, and job satisfaction in influencing the teachers performance. In this research, method which be used is survey with Proporsional Cluster Random Sampling. Data collecting method used questionnaire, documentation, and interview. Data analysis technique used double linear regressions. The results of this research showed that motivation for achievement, school climate, and job satisfaction partially gave positive efects to Junior High School teachers performance in Komwil 02 Tegal Regency, and motivation for achievement gave the biggest efect to teachers performance. The implication of this research is that the teacher motivation for achievement should be improved. School climate should be more conducive and job satisfaction should be created.
