Abstract

ABSTRACT     Fish Auction ( TPI ) Gempolsewu Village in Kendal as a place to conduct the auction of fish the fishermen who sell fish to consumers by intermediaries TPI . TPI is managed by KUD " Mina Jaya " and in the supervision of the Department of Marine Government Kendal . Constraints faced by TPI is usually caused because the board came late while the tender process has been conducted , resulting in personnel handling the tender process is reduced and inhibit the auction process and the data collection process of buying and selling is done manually so it takes a long time , pricing information can not be known society at large , and frequent data recording errors . This study builds web applications and sms integration gateway for sending information to many consumers and simultaneously TPI board . Applications built using the PHP programming language , MySQL database , and for Gammu SMS Gateway application , as well as Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 , Adobe Photoshop CS3 , and supporting software Xampp 1.6.8 . With this application the consumer does not have to come directly to TPI to know the latest price of fish and as a medium for ordering fish online services . Applications built features for data processing officers, members , fish , boat , and fish purchases and auctions . Applications are built to be developed to make the SMS auto-reply , displays the name of the sender and recipient of the SMS that has been stored in the phonebook , and SMS distinguish already and unread . Keywords: Gammu, MySQL, PHP, SMS Gateway, TPI Gempolsari.

Abstract

ABSTRACTVirtual LAN (VLAN) is a network of networks that are connected together despite different locations to do with the configuration of the equipment switch trunking method, the switch can be connected to the network router to connect a specified VLAN. This research will design a virtual network environment LAN in Dili Institute Of Tecnhology (DIT) Timor Leste provide results that can improve perfroma VLAN network, the distribution network based on the existing department, enabling administrators to manage the network, minimizing costs, and security methods.In the trials conducted on two network design is to test connectivity, data transmission and download / upload, on each VLAN to know the results of the average and will be compared with two network design and good where it will be used. Keywords: VLAN, Trunking Switch, Router

Abstract

ABSTRACT The computer network is a collection of computers that are connected to each other and work automatically . It can affect the stability of the internet connection that is the amount of bandwidth used and how effective the network bandwidth can be utilized . Bandwidth is a measure of the amount of information that can flow from one place to another within a certain time. Delay pools allows the administrator to limit bandwidth usage can be used by the user and also limit the bandwidth that can be used by a particular file type . One type of method of managing bandwidth using squid . Squid is a caching application GPL ( GNU Public License ) and an implementation of a proxy server that can store objects in the cache . Delay Pools is an innate feature of squid that are used to perform bandwidth management. In this system of testing , including testing includes downloads , uploads , content - filtering and blocking adult content social media during work hours . In testing the download and upload can be seen that the system is able to divide bandwidth fairly to all users . To test the content filtering system using two methods, namely filtering with delay pools and the DNS Nawala . Abstract

ABSTRACT VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) is a system that used by sending data package from one place to another places such as voice or video use mediator IP Address in a internet network. VoIP transmission voice signal by change to the digital form and it can be categorized be data packages that sent by using platform IP. However, the weakness of VoIP is security is not guaranteed. Because IP based, so anybody can tap and record the data of VoIP. So, it needs a security system to overcome that security problem. One of the solutions is by implement of OpenVPN (Virtual Private Network). OpenVPN is one method to overcome the security network in sending the data package. To implement that idea so, it made a system VoIP OpenVPN. Then analyze   how to Performa the sending of voice or video that resulted and the security of VoIP before and after used OpenVPN. Before using OpenVPN, data package VoIP that sent can be record and replay the data payload it also can be caught and can be saw. The Performa of sending data in the busy network it also can be long delayed. However, after using OpenVPN, the package data VoIP cannot record and replay and data payload also cannot catch. The Performa VoIP OpenVPN in busy network is better than VoIP without OpenVPN. Keywords : VoIP, OpenVPN, Performa, Security

Abstract

ABSTRACTIPv6 present as IPv4 replacement with some feature to cover IPv4 weakness. Transition is needed in order to migrate to IPv6 because totally migration will cause much networking problem considering most of network device in this time are still designed for IPv4. Transition method used in this research is dual stack which connected to tunnel broker so that local network can communicate with internet and be able to access IPv6 sites. In dual stack network, host and router implements both IPv4 and IPv6. With these two kind of IP, gateway address must consists of two different addresses either because sending and receiving process from client to server or vice versa is happen in separate way. Dual stack most implemented in a network because its compatibility in network device and it doesn’t need necessary to change extremely configuration of IPv4 existing network. As a result from this research, IPv4 network performance has 2% faster for RTT than IPv6 network. For time used and speed transfer using FTP, IPv4 network has 3% faster than IPv6 network. IPv6 network has 10% better performance for throughput than IPv4 does. Whereas jitter, IPv6 has 44% smaller than IPv4. Considering IPv4 limited allocation address nowadays doing the transition to IPv6 using dual stack network is a good choice to deploy IPv6 used. Keywords: dual stack, IPv6, tunnel broker

Abstract

ABSTRACTNetwork Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) to access the internet is very much healthy ni installed in offices and at other public places. In some offices that do not have internet security so employees can easily access sites that are not appropriate and can lead to decreased performance of the employee. Therefore, in Education, Youth and Sports Office will be using a healthy method by using multiple Internet applications that is Internet security and DNS Nawala Squid proxy server is implemented. The results of this study will generate healthy netode internet by blocking sites that are considered negative. Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of computer network technology growing rapidly in line with the needs of the community information service that uses computer networks. The need for the use of the Internet in society based so that all parts of society in Indonesia has knowledge of information technology. The mosque is used as a medium for the spread of the Internet due to the expected future output of the deployment of information technology knowledge will be of good content and useful to society. By using this method as a way to surf the internet sound is good and right that will be implemented into the wireless computer networks in the mosque. Healthy internet methods are implemented on the wireless computer networks using a proxy server that will be implemented some security configuration that is OpenDNS, Squid, IPTables and Dansguardian. From the security configuration is tested one at a time by accessing the content of some categories of negative examples to test the efficacy in blocking sites or negative content from the proxy server before. From the research, the combination of multiple security configurations will be selected based on the advantages and disadvantages that will be used so the proxy server. From the entire configuration will be secure wireless computer networks in the mosque Al Amin Berbah. The implementation of the method on a healthy internet wireless computer network at the mosque will produce a safe way to surf from all negative content. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research is dedicated to built a monitoring system server using nagios with alert notification delivery when the server sustain an alert by email and sms. notification server status delivery is submitted to network administrator to easier admins work in order to monitoring server without being at the office. monitoring server is applied on to 3 host servers in PT Gamatechno Indonesia, which is  localhost host monitoring server,‘gtserver’ host and ‘gtgforge’ host. The sending of notification message about system failure on the server can be done by setting the configuration file in the nagios monitoring system. Notification message server status delivery by email in this research is done with postfix mail transfer agent. Notification server status delivery by sms using gammu daemon and wavecome Fastrack M1306B as an sms gateway modem. mysql database, generated with gammu, is used as a storage media for sms data from nagios status delivery. PhpMyAdmin role as database management. As a final result, it shows the notification messages server status delivery using email and sms is accepted by admin succesfully. notification messages server status delivery has been sent are saved in gammu database. Keywords: Network Monitoring, Notification, Gammu, Nagios, Email, SMS Gateway

ABSTRACTWireless technology, has now spread all-over the nation. By using radio waves, wireless technology on computer network becomes indicate its existence compare to conventional network model (wired network). The existence of technology which becomes cheaper, has support the existence of these wireless network also. Nowadays, areas supported with wireless network or often called hotspot become easier to find. The cheaper the devices to build these hotspot networks, has passionate peoples to use this business opportunity on wireless network. Many tricks use by businessman, start with obligation to buy good before using hotspot facility until “Warung Internet” AKA “WARNET”. But, using prepaid cards AKA vouchers are the most prospective business strategy. This occurs because it simplicity to manage on businessman’s side and it simplicity on customer’s side. Consider to the target of PT. Telkom which obsessed to make Indonesia becomes nation with the largest numbers of WiFi area in Asia (Yandi, 2012), it is 10 millions WiFi radio at 2015, is certainly hotspot business is one of the “hottest” business in future. But thus, hotspot business must be controlled so it doesn’t cross-side with law and norm, moreover if this business runs within Islamic Boarding School’s environment. Abstract

ABSTRACTWebQual method is one method or technique of measuring the quality of a website based on the perception of the end user. This method is the development of a method developed by Parasuraman SERVQUAL, which is widely used prior to the measurement of service quality. Research on the WebQual instrument developed by the method of Quality Function Development (QFD). WebQual been developed since 1998 and has undergone several iterations in the preparation of the dimensions and the question grains. Research Barnes and Vidgen (2003) who used WebQual 4.0 to measure the quality of a website maintained by the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development).  In the process of analysis of the sample used tranches of 100 respondents consisting of principals, teachers and students in elementary and junior high schools in the region. The next stage is data analysis which consists of test validity, reliability testing and assessment with a Likert scale. In the validity test using Pearsons formula Bevariate while reliability test using Cronbachs alpha formula. In the assessment using a Likert scale used 4 assessment intervals, ie Very Satisfied, Satisfied, Satisfied and Dissatisfied Less. Keywords: WebQual, validity, reliability, Likert Scale.
