Abstract

This study starts from the invisibility of the phenomenon still homeroom yet communicate with a counselor about the problems faced by learners . It is characterized by the presence of counselors who have difficulty in implementing guidance and counseling services sbecause of time constraints and their homeroom to the counselor has not provided information related to the identity , record events and problems that occur in learners . The purpose of this study is to describe:1) Cooperation with the counselor in the administration of activities homeroom guidance and Counseling . 2) Cooperation with homeroom counselor in providing information about the learners . This type of research is classified as descriptive quantitative research . The population is all counselors and high school homeroom Dian Andalas Padang numbered 14 people . Sampling was done in total sampling with a sample size of 14 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire and analyzed by using percentages . The results of this study revealed that counselors cooperation with homeroom in the administration of guidance and counseling activities are in very good criteria and cooperation with homeroom counselor in providing information about the learners are at a very good criterion . It can be concluded that the better cooperation between the counselor and the class teacher will better the teachers in helping to overcome the problem of learners . This research was recommended to counselors and homeroom in order to maintain and increase its cooperation in addressing the problems experienced by learners .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) Perceptions of students about the mastery learning method by Indonesian teachers, (2) the perception of students on mastery learning media by Indonesian teachers, (3) perceptions of students on mastery learning materials by language teachers Indonesia. The shape of this research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were all students at Junior High School 4 Lubuk Alung totaling 446 people and a sample of 82 people. This study used a stratified random sampling proportion that sampling of all members of the population at random and stratified proportionally. Means of collecting data of this study using a questionnaire. The data were processed using techniques percentage. The results of this study found that: (1). Perception of students about control methods by Indonesian teachers in Junior High School 4 Lubuk Alung included in either category, (2) perceptions of learners about the control of media by Indonesian teachers in Junior High School 4 Lubuk Alung included in either category, (3) perception of students on mastery of the material by the Indonesian teacher at Junior High School 4 Lubuk Alung included in either category

Abstract

Background of this research was because fanatic hobby of students that is reading thenovel which making their social relationship doesn’t grow as well because less communication andinteraction with their friends at school. The purpose of this research is to observe as far as readingthe novel influence students social relationship at SMAN 9 Padang. Focus on this research isstudents social relationship who are hobby reading the novel with their same gender friends andwith their opposite gender friends.This research uses descriptive qualitative approach whichdescribing indications, facts, and reality about students social relationship. Informan for thisresearch are: students, close friends of students, counselor, and subject teacher. Instrument for thisresearch was interview guide, technique for processing data through data reduction, datapresentation, and then pulling conclusion.Result of this research found that student socialrelationship doesn’t grow like usual, although it is with their same gender friends and also withtheir opposite gender friends. This caused by fanatic hobby reading the novel by students. Interestin reading the novel make student less communication and interaction with their friends. Base onthis research, recommendad for students, counselor, and relevant parties to cope fanatic hobbyreading the novel by students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of factors that influence the motivation oflearners in the following extracurricular activities. Based on the interview, that there are studentswho have problems in the following extracurricular activities, such as the learners who less thedesire to take advantage of extracurricular activities, the presence of the students less the motivationto participate in extracurricular activities and their learners who choose hang out with friends of thefollowing the extracurricular activities at school. The aimed of this research are to determine theintrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence the motivation of learners in the followingextracurricular activities This research is descriptive quantitative the population of all students in theJunior High School 2 Koto XI Tarusan. In this research, the sample amounted to 80people consistingof VII.4 class (25 people), VIII.5 (24 people) and IX.3 (31 people). The technique used in sampling isstratified random sampling. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire, while the formulaused for data analysis and technical analysis criterion percentage. The results of this study revealedthat: 1) Intrinsic factors that influence the motivation of learners in the following extracurricularactivities consisting of the needs, expectations and interests were in many categories. 2) Extrinsicfactors that affect the motivation of learners in the following extracurricular activities consisting ofthe environment and the rewards are in the many categories. So, based on the results of research thatthe students in the following extracurricular activities in SMP Negeri 2 Koto XI Tarusan manyfactors that influence learner motivation, good views of the intrinsic and extrinsic factors inparticipating in extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Problems in this study was based of learners attention of to teachers and friends at school, such asa loner, poor relationship, not knowing of talents, decreased learners achivement, not interested tolearn, feel insecure and didn’t of a teahcer. The purpose of this study: 1) Internal factors and, 2)External factors that affect the self-esteem of learners. This research is quantitative. Sampling wasconducted by using stratified random sampling technique. The population in this study were 810learners, while 102 sampled learners. Collecting data by distributing questionnaires to learners.Analysis data using a percentage formula. The findings of the study revealed that the internalfactors classified as category very much and external factors affecting the classified categories lotof self-esteem of students in Junior High School 10 Padang. Research findings show that, theinternal factors that affect the self-esteem of learners are in the category of very much, whileexternal factors are in many categories. This study aimed to learners can building positively selfesteemthe good of intelligence, physical condition, gender, family and social environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by parents who have teenagers with autism at puberty based study of parents who have teenagers with autism experience more problems than other parents, especially during puberty. This study aimed to look at the physical and psychological problems of parents who have teenagers with autism at puberty, the focus of this study was to describe the physical and psychological problems of parents who have teenagers with autism at puberty. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach that describes symptoms, facts and reality in the field what it is about the physical and psychological problems of parents who have teenagers with autism at puberty. Instruments that researchers use in this study were interviews, observations, techniques used in processing the data through data reduction, presentation and conclusion.The results of studies that have analyzed revealed that the health condition of the elderly declined, as parents headaches , high blood pressure, decreased appetite , fatigue , lethargy and fatigue , concentration and disturbed parents work, the incidence of misunderstanding between husband and wife, was not comfortable with the condition of autism teenagers at the time had a problem, and the familys economic decline. Based on the research results to parents and stakeholders to be able to overcome the obstacles encountered by parents who have children with autism in their teens so that these obstacles can be overcome with the optimal .

Abstract

Cooperation counselor and subject teachers are very important to increase learning students motivation because it can affect outcomes of students. However, there are still many students who are less motivation to learn. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Informants in this research are 2 couenselor, 2 math teachers, 2 english teachers, 2 indonesian teachers and 2 students as addition. Instrument of this research is interview and after that analiyze the data. Result of this study show that cooperation of counselor and subjek teachers to increase learning students motivation is done but it is not maximal. It seen from guiding students to use facilities efeetively less wells, and then guiding, students to know their personal to have prestations optimal is done, but it is not maximal. It can be concluded that cooperation of counselor and subject teachers to increase learning students mitivation at SMA Negeri 1 Talamau Pasaman Barat.

Abstract

In entering the gates of marriage, often a scary thing when the couple began to thinkabout what will happen when they have to be in a marriage. Couples do not or have not beenconcretely imagined their existence in a relationship as husband and wife. The purpose of thisstudy was to describe (1) understanding of early adult seen from the readiness to build domesticharmony. (2) understanding of early adults as seen from the beginning to build family economicreadiness. This type of research used in this study was descriptive quantitative research. Thesample of this study is the sampling area. As for the data disclosure tools that is used in this studyis questionnaire. Furthermore, to obtain the data start adults in 2 RW binuang village in the desertPauh subdistrict headman office Binuang village in Padang Pauh subdistrict. The findings of thestudy illustrate that (1) Understanding of early adults that is seen from the readiness of domesticharmony categorized understanding. (2) understanding of adults as seen from the beginning tobuild family economic readiness categorized less understand readiness to build the familyeconomy. The research findings are recommended for adults, to store the public and parents andmanager Program guidance study and counseling.

Abstract

The background of this research is less of counseling teacher’s action in developing social relationship learner training. The purpose of this research were to describe the effort of counseling teacher in: 1) developing social skill, 2) giving the opportunity for the learner to be active in group activities, 3) guiding the learner in democratic life, 4) discussing the problem of women and man social, 5) encourage the learner to read the literature about women and man, 6) assign the learner to observe the social life. Kinds of this research was descriptive quantitative. The populations were 67 people. Technique of gathering sampling was using total sampling. The instrument was questionnaire. Analysis of the data was using percentage formula. The result of this research showed counseling teacher’s effort in: 1) developing social skill are very good category, 2) giving the opportunity for the learner to be active in group activities are in good category, 3) guiding the learner in democratic life are in good category, 4) discussing the problem of women and man social are in good category, 5) encourage the learner to read the literature about women and manare in very good category, 6) ) assign the learner to observe the social life. Kinds of this research was descriptive quantitative are in very good category.

Abstract

Curriculum implementation in 2013 will be able to pose a problem for senior high schoollearners on a swordfish capable in their choice of subjects specialization group, so it can bedifficult and a tendency to fail in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the learnersunderstanding of the selection of specialization in the curriculum in 2013. Type of research used inthis study was descriptive quantitative research. That is, this study to gather information on thestatus of an existing symptoms, that is the state of symptoms according to what it is at time of thestudy. Total population in this study is 219 learners. The research techniques used randomsampling is a sampling technique that is done by taking a random representative of each grade often in padang cement senior high school. Total sampling 0f 46 learners. The disclosure tool used inthis study is a questionnaire. Subsequent data analysis techniques used namely the interpretation ofdata with a range of classification. Result of the findings of this study illustrate how the learnersunderstanding of the selection of specialization in curriculum 2013 in the ten grade padang cementsenior high school, thus it can be concluded that the selection of studens understanding ofcurriculum 2013 selection in general the bulk of the studens are on familiar criteria.
