Abstract

This study aims to determine the informal sector businesses in the Pasar Air Haji Linggo Sari Baganti District Pesisir Selatan region which includes: 1) the characteristics of informal sector business unit, 2) the characteristics of workers and informal sector business owners, 3) informal sector employment and 4) capital and income from the informal sector.This research is descriptive. The population in this study were all business units in the informal sector, amounting Pasar Air Haji 56 business units . Samples were taken with a total sampling techniques so that sample was 56 the owner of the business unit.The research found that: 1 ) The characteristics of informal sector business units in the Pasar Air Haji Sari Linggo Baganti mostly stalls ( 42.9 % ), located around the market ( 37.5 % ) and have been trying 2 years ( 39.35 %). This means that business units in the informal sector is dominated by Pasar Haji Air stalls located around the old market and tried to > 2 years, (2) characteristics of workers and owners of informal sector enterprises, informal business owners are generally aged > 30 years ( 64.3 %), with marital status married ( 89.29 %), derived from the Linggo Sari Baganti District, education level informal sector business owners on average completed high school (71.43%) and previous work in the sector also means that the owner of this informal.Hal sector informal aged 30 years and above , the level of secondary education , married and effort previously also in the informal sector, (3) absorption of labor in the informal sector is evident from the number of workers is generally 2 people (41.07%), came from the area around the market Air Haji (55.36%), the average education level of junior high school graduation (60.71%), labor hours (60.71%), the old owners work longer than labor (82.14%), payroll systems that do is a daily system (46.43%) with a salary of Rp 25,000 - Rp 50.000/hari (53.57%) and (4) capital markets business in the informal sector Pasar Air Haji Linggo Sari Baganti district derived from equity (64.29%), the amount of initial capital > Rp 10,000,000 (67.86%), capital now > Rp 10,000,000 (87.5%), somewhat informal business development pesar (83.14%) and the capital is currently insufficient (73, 21%)

Abstract

The study aimed to obtain information,  date analyze about the role of students in managing environment hygiene dormitory in the boarding school DR.M.Natsir. who views of how the role of students in creating and maintaining the cleanlines hostel environment.This is qualitative study using interview techniques. To answer this problem used primary date and secondary date. Primary date obtained from observation, interviews with informants they are students in boarding school DR.M.Natsir and documentation, while secondary date obtained from the relevant parties.The result showed: 1 the role of student in creating a healty environment at the school dormitory DR.M.Natsir Alahan Panjang is defined as something that should inplemented as if it hasbeen created hygiene, the environment will be healtheir, we willbespared from disease, living in the dorm would be fun, through activities which can create a cleaner environment, such as mutual cooperation, dispose of waste in place which is provide, but students knowledge about creating hygiene are not in accordance with their behaviour towarde environment cleanliness.2. the role of students in a dormitory done keeping the in environment by cleaning sewer water, obey and follow the rules of the builder, clean room as well as providing guidance to actions other students when the student keep the environment less. But in dealing with all of that, studen just do a simple manner, such as gutter cleaning water only once, obey the rules and runt it at the picket alone, clean room just by sweeping, but cleaning the room of glass and window clean only when the dust have many ar thick.

Abstract

Small industry is a business skill that contain economic values, cultural values, and the value of art in society and should be preserved. Lengayang districts are districts in the South Coast and is one area that has many industrial enterprises, one of which is the famous hometown Sariak Lubuk with woven Pandan sakayan. This study aimed to obtain information, analyze industry SWOT woven pandanus sakayan Kampung Lubuk Sariak Nagari Kambang Lengayang Coastal District Northern District Southern views of : 1) strength, 2) weakness, 3) opportunities, 4) threat and 5) development strategy.This research is a qualitative study, carried out in Kampung Lubuk Sariak kanagarian North Kambang sub Lengayang South Coastal district. Research informants numbered 25 people. Data retrieved through observation and interviews.Research results showed: (1) The power possessed by sakayan woven pandanus pandanus is the availability of raw materials and close to many industrial sites, the attention of the government through the provision of capital, human resource development and workforce training. (2) owned by the weakness of woven pandanus sakayan is the capital needed to develop a large business, labor master woven in the group number is less, still not optimal marketing. (3) Opportunities owned by woven pandanus sakayan is the promotion of the local government so that products known by the public, the market demand is quite high and pretty much in demand by consumers, unique and interesting shape. (4) Threat of woven pandanus owned sakayan is the existing workforce so that parents are less productive, can not meet production targets if the market demand and marketing of the product is slow. (5) development strategy that is woven pandanus sakayan increase the amount of capital so as to develop products, raw materials and keep adding new raw materials, manpower training to improve skills, increase the number of members, making the store a strategic place.

Abstract

Water  Sibakur rod located in deep sub Latang Tarok villages are common water resource that has an important role for the people living around. sibakur stem water use by local people covering different aspects of life. of them as a place of cage fishfarming, fishing area, water the fields, and household activities. purpose of fish farming is to produce fish in larger quantities than the natural life.This study aimed to obtain information, data, analyzes, discusses and discloses: (1) physical condition sibakur system water for nila fish cage systems which include temperature, color, and turbidity (2) water chemistry conditions Sibakurrod for nila fish farming cage systems which included pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), carbondioxide(CO2), phosphates (PO4) and ammonia (NH3).            Type of research is descriptive research. this study to determine the physical and chemical parameters of water were used as SibakurBatang fish farming cage Systems. This study compared the results of the analysis are obtained directly from the field and laboratory with water quality standards for aquaculture. The samples tested were in the region of the upstream, midstream, and downstream water Sibakur Trunk. The results on the physical and chemical parameters tabulated and analyzed descriptively.             Results of the study are as follows: (1) Water Quality Rods Sibakur for nilafishfarming cagesystems in physics, namely the temperature Stem water Sibakur eligible because the water temperature of all test samples are still within the range of 25-290C. Color and water requirements. (2) The water quality for fish rod Sikabur chemically meet requirements that included pH, Carbohydrate (CO2) to meet the requirements of the upstream and downstream while the center does not meet the requirements, Dissolved oxygen (DO), phosphate (PO4), and Ammonia ( NH3) does not meet the requirements due to exceeding quality standards for tilapia farming.

Abstract

The  pupose from this research is to determine the extent  of the influence of the neigborhood and the discipline of learning to learn geography for students clas XI SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara. The kind of this research is descriptive corelation. The population from this research is students class XI SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara all totaled 185 students to determine the sample size used sampling technicques performed by simple rando sampling using slovin formula. The total sample of 127 students. Data collection technique used is descriptive analytical and to the test the hypotesis used multiple regression F test and T test. Results of this indicate theit: (1) sigificant relationship between living environment on learning outcomes of geography students class XI SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara about 13,5 % (percent).(2) A significant difference between of the discipline of learning outcomes of geography students class XI SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara by 9,8 % (percent). Abstract

Expansion of intensive rural area to date has been developed in Indonesia as one way for equitable development and improve peoples welfare. Development of a region is generally caused by both natural population growth and migration as well as an increase in the activities of the residents in the area as a container utilizing its development. Splitting of the village is essentially an attempt to improve the welfare of the people still refer to the economic growth by taking into account the carrying capacity of the region, both in terms of the community service aspects, aspects of governance, development aspects and aspects of the regions potential. Rural area development will have a positive impact for the betterment of society. This study aims to determine the Regional Public Perceptions About Redistricting at the village Kemantan Kebalai  district of Air Hangat Timur Regency Kerinci.This research is descriptive. Descriptive research will reveal problems that occur in the present as they are. Population in this research is the head of the family living in the the village Kemantan Kebalai  district of Air Hangat Timur Regency Kerinci. Samples were taken by way of proportional sampling. Respondent sample taken with random sampling techniques with the proportion of 25%, totaling 86 samples. Analysis using the analysis of the percentage formula. Techniques of data collection through questionnaire or instrument.The research found that: 1) Community perceptions of the potential the village Kemantan Kebalai  district of Air Hangat Timur Regency Kerinci is quite good with the level of achievement of 70.02%. 2) Community perceptions of the  development the  village  Kemantan Kebalai  district of Air Hangat Timur Regency Kerinci is quite good with the level of achievement of 73.05%. 3) Community perceptions of village governance Kemantan Kebalai district of Air Hangat Timur Regency Kerinci classified as less well with the level of achievement of 66.54%. 4) Community perceptions of the public service village Kemantan Kebalai district of Air Hangat Timur Regency Kerinci classified as less well with the level of achievement of 63.95%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the residential densification Nagari Lubuk Basung Since be Agam regency capital. This research is descriptive. The population in this study were all heads of families who settled in villages Lubuk Basung as a whole amounted to 11 237 households. Samples were taken in two ways, the samples were taken by purposive sampling areas (designation) the reason being that these areas have the highest KK and an area adjacent to public places such as markets and terminal regions, namely: the Old Market Jorong Lubuk Basung and the sample of respondents drawn with random sampling technique the proportion of 5% by the number of respondents 99 heads of families. The research found that: (1) the population settlement pattern Nagari including rare Lubuk Basung before and after a solid, and the spur to reach the location before very easily before, the state of human settlements is less good before and after the nice, orderly condition before and after the settlement is more regular, (2) The population density Nagari including rare Lubuk Basung before and after more dense, often before not society activities and post more often, unfavorable social conditions before and after the nice, cozy comfort of the public before and after the much less comfortable. (3) Income before residents Nagari Lubuk Basung Rp 740,000 - Rp 1.550.000/month and after Rp 1.551.000 - 2.361.000/month. (4) The public is able to meet the educational needs of the family before and after Being Agam regency capital, the view of the formal education before and after the poor better, note the lack of education for children before and after more attention, formal education before and after the child there, the number of children dropouts also declined, before so many children capital after graduating junior high and high school and college in general. Abstract

 This research aims to get information about traders perceptions about the condition of cleanliness, orderliness and comfort conditions at Pasar Raya in East Padang.Type of this research was descriptive research and population of this research was 2.465 traders in Pasar Raya East Padang. Samples were taken with a random sampling proportionate technique to the proportion of 5 % of the total population that is numbered 123 respondents.The results of this research showed that according to the traders : 1) hygiene condition in Pasar Raya East Padang classified in the category quite well. It is based on the level of attainment of respondents (TCR) was 69.2 %, because the market is not so clean and seen the garbage strewn and muddy, 2) order condition Pasar Raya East Padang classified in the category quite well. It is based on the level of attainment of respondents (TCR) was 70.7 %, because in this market it still looks the irregular parking of vehicles and street vendors hawking wares through the boundary line has been determined and unruly, and 3) Comfort conditions of East Raya Markets in Padang classified in the category quite well. It is based on the level of attainment of respondents (TCR) was 74.2 %, because in this market most traders said that there are many street pickpockets and robbers, so merchants and shoppers feel comfort disturbed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze, collect, and process and describe the changes in river flow conditions caused by: 1) the condition of land use change caused by erosion of the river banks around the edge of the Batang Bangko, 2) the condition of river bank erosion caused by the river around the edge of the cliff rod Batang Bangko, 3) the speed of the river flow due to changes in land and river bank erosion 4) changes in stream flow direction Batang Bangko streambank erosion. This study uses a descriptive method that aims to explain, a portrait of the symptoms, the facts and the nature of the research area. The results showed that: 1) changes occur throughout Nagari land traversed by the Batang Bangko lengths vary between 87 m - 121 m. Changing land is paddy fields into streams. The main causes of land use change is the streambankerosion, 2) conditions along in general Bangko Batang is the streambanks. Streambank erosion caused by human activities in managing and treating nature.Activities Class C mining (sand and gravel) exploit many rivers and the surrounding areas, so that the carrying capacity of the streambank to decline, 3) Speed at Batang Bangko found diverse, thereby potentially streambank erosion along stream Batang Bangko. Average flow rate obtained at all points of observation ranged from 2.07 to 2.69 m / sec. As a result, the speed of the flow can also affect the river bank erosion in streams and Batang Bangko 4) Changes in flow direction of the river occurs at each sample point through which the Batang Bangko is also changing the varying distances 18-28 m and occurs in the left and the right of the river. Streams left turn into scrubland. The main causes of changes in flow direction of the flow is caused by human activity and the speed of the flow and the absence of vegetation land cover found on the riverbank.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of arabica coffee production and marketing of the income of the people in sub-district Lolo Solok District Coast Mirror.The study was descriptive correlational. The population in this study all arabica coffee farmers in the Lolo District Nagari Coast Mirror, amounting to 654 farmers. Samples were taken with a random sampling proportional to the proportion of 15%, so the total sample of 89farmers.The research found that: 1) there is a significant effect on the income of arabica coffee production in the Lolo District village Coast Mirror for t calculate > t table (8.029> 1.662), including the influence of strong (r = 0.652) and a significant contribution (42.6 %), (2) there is a significant effect on the income of arabica coffee marketing community in sub-district Lolo District Coast Mirror for t calculate > t table (4.136> 1.662), the influence of marketing including moderate (r = 0.405) and a very small contribution (16.4% ) and (3) there is a significant effect of arabica coffee production and marketing of arabica coffee together against the income of the people in sub-district Lolo District Coast Mirror because F calculate > F table (44.168> 2.712), the influence of these two variables on income communities in village Lolo Mirror Coastal districts including strong category (r = 0.712) with a significant contribution (50.7%).
