Abstract

This paper discusses about economic improvement that can be achieved with the integration amongs of businesses moral reform, state officials and structure changes of efficient economic. Waste and consumer behavior of individual communities and the state officials in preparing the household budget and the state will lead to economic decline. The result of this paper suggests the existence of society and government role especially to reduce the reduce the wasteful spending to create a fair and prosperous society.

Abstract

The existence of a number of ethnic Chinesetraders who usingthe services of sharia bank constitute the interested phenomenon to be studied and analyzed using factor analysis techniques. As a result, factor of religion, attitude, and social status are the most dominant factor that influence their behavior towards Islamic banks.

Abstract

this research aims to know the application of PSAK accounting 101 about Islamic finance report and PSAK NO. 105 of mudarabah to product depositing mudarabah in an exemplary KJKS Banjarmasin and Independent Companions Banjarmasin, UJKS and constraints encountered in the recording of accounting. This research is qualitative research interview method and documentation. This type of research is the research field (field research). Through qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. This research resulted in the application of accounting deposits mudaraba based on PSAK NO. 105. KJKS Example already implement thoroughly on the rules contained in the financial reports of 101 PSAK syariah and PSAK NO. 105 temporary syirkah funds of mudaraba, while Independent Companions UJKS not yet fully apply PSAK NO. 101 and PSAK NO. 105. Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the effect of industry investment towards employment of industry sector. Type of data in this paper is time series and secondary data. The study period is from 1990 until 2010. The estimation method is Error Correction Model (ECM) that able to show long-term and short-term relationship. The result shows that foreign investment has no significant effect to employment of industry sector in long-term in Indonesia. While in short term, the form of this investment has a significant effect and has a negative relationship to employment of industry sector with regression coefficient -207.68. In the other side, domestic investment has a significant and negative effect to employment of industry sector in Indonesia, both in long-term and short-term with each regression coefficient 61.53 and 235.42.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the effect of housewife’sprivate factors (age, occupation, family revenue, family expenditure, the level of family life cycle, lifestyle, and personality) simultanly and partially as well as to observe the most dominant effect in food purchases decision in modern market. This paper was conducted on Perumahan Mandiri Lestari, Sultan Adam, Banjarmasin. Sampling techniques in this paper is non-probability sampling, namely judgment sampling. Data analysis was conducted with descriptive analysis techniques using multiple linear regression model. According to the result of this paper, the conclusion is that the private factor which affect food purchases decision in modern market is family revenue.

Abstract

This paper is the description of student response towards learning of enterpreneurshipthat they get in Sharia faculty dan Islamic economy. Besides, it talks about effect of the learning towards their interest in entrepreneurship. The result is education and curriculum of enterpreneurship in campus that constitute manifestation from embodiment of CollegeTri Dharma have function to supply the students with the knowledge of entrepreneurship as well as able to change their point of view to business world. Students interest in entrepreneurship are growing and developing in line with the increasingly widespread planting of entrepreneurial spirit among them.

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the social performance between Islamic banking in Indonesia and Malaysia were measured by using a model of Islamic Social Reporting Index ( ISR ) and the Global Reporting Initiative Index ( GRI ). The objects of this study were drawn from three Islamic banks in Indonesia and three Islamic banks in Malaysia that meet certain criteria, namely; Islamic banking report annual report for 2010 and report  the social responsibility disclosure. Analysis using content analysis approach. The results showed that the overall average social performance of Islamic banking in Malaysia higher than social performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia.However, when tested statistically, this difference did not show significant value. Moreover, there are noislamic banking in Indonesia and in Malaysia reached a perfect level of social performance (100%) of the ISR and the GRI index .

Abstract

The world will never forget about the big shock in capital market in America “Black October event” or Black Tuesday that occurred in 1929 and known as The Great Depression that cause fall in world economy. However, there is always have a wisdom behind an event, that is the birth of a new investment product called derivative instrument. The derivative instrument is a financial instrument that constitute derivative asset from the underlying asset, both derived from stocks and bonds. There are There are several kinds of derivative securities which warrant, right, option, forward, futures, and swap. In Indonesia, although it is still new, investment od derivative instrumen looks like the “fresh wind” for investor amid tight and hard competition finance business. The proof, many big companies are investing in derivative securities such as, Quaker Oats were issued Future, Indosat Warrant issued, as well as issuing the Right of Niaga Bank.

Abstract

Wakaf management is shifting. In the past, wakaf funds and inventory were used mainlyto support tombs and schools. Recently, they are managed for productive ends without reducingthe wakaf assets themselves. This is possible to take place after Law No. 41 (2004) was passed andthe establishment of the Body for Indonesian Wakaf Management (Badan Wakaf Indonesia -BWI) by the Government. Since then, wakaf is not only limited to non-moving assets, such asland, but it also includes cash wakaf . According to the records of Dompet Dhuafa, a non govern-mental institution that manages Islamic philanthropic funds (alms, tithes, donations and wakaf ),there is a substatial increase in the amount of wakaf money coming in. It is crucial then toimprove wakaf management to a more professional one, so that wakaf funds can benefit theMuslim community in Indonesia and increase their welfare.

Abstract

The emergence of Islamic Banking is triggered by the support of banking expert and Islamic economics and Muslims in the country and abroad which requires that banks practice in accordance with the Qur’an and Hadith and do not allow usury. In Indonesia, SyariahBank is known since 1992, while in Egypt there have already loan banks with profit-sharing system since 1963. In giving financing to customers, most of SyariahBank use Murabahah or commonly called bai ‘al-murabaha. The Akad contains a number of rights and obligations for the parties, namely the Syariah Bank and the customer as the applicant of Murabahah Financing Agreement. The financing required by the customer to purchase goods from a supplier and then sell it to customers by adding the advantagecost (cost plus profit) andthis is done through prior negotiations between the bank and the customer concerned.
