Abstract

The Chinese merchants’ interest in using the service of the Syariah banks is the interesting phenomena to observe. Using the quantitative-descriptive research methodology, this writing is the result of the research in the Chinese characteristics in using the service of the Syariah banks. The characteristics are such as their character based on their demography, their access to banking, their information sources in accessing the Syariah banks, the terms and the reasons why they use the service of the Syariah banks, and the information about their understanding toward the Syariah banks product terms. With this acknowledgement, it is hoped that the result of this writing will help the development of the Syariah banks in the future.

Abstract

One goal of business is profit-seeking activities. Profit can be a driving force forentrepreneurs to do business. But there are differences between the conventional economic systemwith an Islamic economic system in view of profit. The view on the issue of income of both theeconomic system is dependent on the approach used. Economic theory conventional - in this case -typically uses approach to impersonal in relation with the problem of distribution. This approach ismainly based on market forces, as stipulated by the competition to become a division of fairproducts for the factors of production. Part workers typically fall within the production costs, so itcan reduce part of workers. In Islam, the positioning of income, profit maximization rationalbehavior in essentially conditioned by three factors: (1) Islams view of the business, (2) theprotection of consumers, and (3) revenue sharing among the factors that support production.

Abstract

The main problem in the domestic competition is not at a high level of market concentration, but artificial barriers to market competition created by government policies, such as giving high protection for companies that are well established in the market. There are two problems that must be concerned, namely the implementation of the Richard A. Posner’s monopoly theory of the Law Number 5 Year 1999 about the prohibition of monopolistic practices, unfair business competition, and how to interpret and enforce the Commissions Law Number 5 Year 1999. Antimonopoly Law gives the same opportunity and the freedom to all businessman to compete in the market. There are rules that must be obeyed by businessman, which may not act as he pleased in the conduct of his business and shall not commit unfair competition. The Antimonopoly Law is supervised by the KPPU, the KPPU has the dual task besides to create the discipline in the competition also serves to create and maintain a conducive climate for business competition.

Abstract

This study intends to find out if factors including product, promotion, price, place, and service have affected consumers’ behavior in choosing syariah pawn shop (pegadaian syariah). The regression analysis results show that those factors have affected consumer decision making at 63.9%. UsingF test, all of those variables simultaneously have affected consumers’ decision in choosingsyariah pawn shop. Furthermore, using t test, only some variables including product, price, and place that partially have affected the consumers’ behavior, but, promotion and service have not affected it. The data analysis also indicates that price is the most dominant variables that affected consumers’ in choosing Syariah pawn shop.

Abstract

he accounting scandal is the real picture of the accounting frauds in the global world.These frauds are mostly difficult to detect through only regular accounting check or audit. Thisproblem has not been solved until now. Enron Corporation, Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, and thewildered situation of Citigroup feel like déjàvu of the Black Tuesday in 1929. Indonesia also feels thesame situation. Begins with the Century Bank unsolved case to PT Ades Alfindo and PT. Indofarmaproblematic situation. The accounting forensic is the answer of those challenges. The “problembased” nature of the accounting forensic is hoped to be the solution for those fraud problems and toprevent those frauds to make bigger damage for the related sides. The accounting forensic is the useof accounting skill with the investigative capability to solve a problem or a fraud suspect. In this case,fraud is the deliberate mistake to gain fortune from the other party.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic Sharia law in the business has had a legal basis in the Indonesian legal system. The legal basis is the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945, especially article 29, some Laws and some Government Regulations, or other regulations which related to the developing sharia business, such as Law of the Republik Indonesia Number 7 Year 1992 in conjunction with Law Number 10 Year 1998 on the amendment of Law Number 7 Year 1992 on banking, Law Number 21 Year 2008 on Islamic Banking.  The developing Financial Institution or Sharia Business, among other things, Islamic Banking, Islamic Insurance, Sharia investment fund shares, Sharia mortgage and others.

Abstract

In order to overcome inflation, many countries are employing currency redenomination policy.  This is  a public policy measure that simplifies the use and managing of the national currency of a country, through its expression in a new and smaller equivalent scale.    The goal of rupiah redenomination is to simplify the currency scale in accounting record systems and monetary statements, to strengthten rupiah value, and also to  promote the equal growth of social and economical  development of the country. Beforehand, low average inflation and economy stability  as the demanded factors for currency redenomination policy should be performed by the respected countries.  Indonesia is already in this state of ideal economy condition for the policy.  In spite of that; due to inadquate preparations, insufficient expense planning, and lack of citizen promptitude; therefore, rupiah redenomination policy is not immediately employed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the influence of the marketing mix (X), whichconsists of four variables: product, price, promotion, and place, toward the customer satisfaction (Y).The result of the double linear regression shows that the marketing mix influences the satisfaction asmuch as 28,4%. Simultaneously, the marketing mix variables (product, price, promotion, and place)influence Halo postpaid card customer satisfaction in Amuntai. This phenomena is shown throughthe result value sig 0.000 which is smaller than the value α 0,05. The result of the data analysis alsoshows that the promotion variable (X3) is the most dominant dimension/aspect which influences theHalo postpaid card customer satisfaction. This finding can be seen through the unstandardizedcoefficients value as much as 0,236 , standardized coefficients as much as 0,262, and also through the sig feeas much as 0,054.

Abstract

The Islamic economic system in the specific characteristics, is very different from the othereconomic systems because it is as an integral part of Islamic system, and economic in Islam brings anequlibrium for individual and public interest, as well as it brings an individual freedom for economicactivities. In the effort of compliting its acknowledgment to economic freedom, Islam gives anauthority to the government to intervere in the fungsionalization of Islamic economic system. Itmeans that all matters which concern on the economic aspects, have been discussed in Islam. So thatit could be concluded that the regulation of economic in Islam, is absolutely complete. Therefore, theapplication of Islamic economic system in the social order of communitys economy probably wouldbring prosperity and benefit for community itself.

Abstract

Basicly Musyarakah in fiqh muamalah is agreement of trust (amanah), which each of partners be rialiable with their own partner that have agreement with them, then in agreement of musyarakah each of partners do not allowed to ask for assurance to other partners. This research uses field research method by directly interviews the authorities of PT Bank Kalsel Syariah Banjarmasin Branch. The result of the procedure of musyarakah finance which is given by PT Bank Kalsel Syariah Banjarmasin Branch  is a coorperation agreement between the bank and the clients where each of partners gives the contribution of fund and work in undertaking productive business. The profit result divide based on nisbah that has been agreed and one of the partners can ask the more pofit based on their works and the loss devides proportionally based on the fund that had been deposited by each of partners. The client is asked to include the additional material wealth assurance that worth of the price as a serious prove and responsible reflection of the clients to undertake a coopertion and also as bank media in undertaking the principle of carefulness in giving the finance.
