Abstract

The research is aims to determine the effect of feedback on students’ mistake in completing the algebra arithmetic operation. The effect can be seen by the average difference in students’ mistake in completing the algebra arithmetic operation between the given feedback and are not given feedback. The population was all of the second grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Adiluwih in the academic year 2015- 2016. The samples of the research were taken by using the cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a test in the form of description consists of four items. Data acquisition is done by testing with data analysis techniques using U-test (Mann-Whitney U test) because the data is not normally distributed. The result of the research can be concluded that the provision of feedback can influence the students mistakes in completing the algebra arithmetic operation. The effect can be seen by the average difference in students mistakes in completing the algebra arithmetic operation between classes given feedback and classes are not given feedback. Abstract

The objectives of this research was to solve how to increase students learning mathematic achievments on the subject of statistic. This study aims to determine whether the students learning mathematic achievments of the student SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingrejo in the academic year of 2014-2015 using learning method mind mapping on the subject of statistics can be higher than the students’ learning mathematic achievments without using learning method mind mapping. This research is a quantitative approach. The population was all of the students in first grade of the SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingrejo in the academic year of 2014- 2015. The samples of the research were taken by using the cluster random sampling technique. Based on hypothesis test, it can be included that there are differences in the average student learning achievments between using learning method mind mapping and learning method lecture on the subject of Statistics of the student in first grade of the SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingrejo in the academic year of 2014-2015. Abstract

The students’ low achievement in math is due to lack of activities in learning process. Therefore, it needs the effort to increase the students’ activity and achievement. One of the way to overcome this problem is using cooperative learning type course review horay (CRH). This study research is a class room action research which aims to: (1) increase the math learning activities in VIII A of SMPN 1 Trimurjo after following the cooperative learning model type CRH; (2) to increase the math achievement of VIIIA of SMPN 1 Trimurjo after following cooperative learning model type CRH. This research was conducted in SMPN 1 Trimurjo. This class room action research was designed in several stages such as planning, action, observation, and reflection of the next stage. This research conducted in two cycles. The research finding is cooperative learning model type, CRH can increase the math learning activities and students’ achievement in math of VIIIA SMPN 1 Trimurjo in the main topic of circle. Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of learning model of Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) about cube concept comprehension to students VIII grade at SMP Pustek Serpong. Kind of the research is experiment quasi research. The research instrument that used is analysis question pretest and postest. The data analyze by using normality test, homogenity test, and t-test. The result of the research show that there is the different ability of cube concept comprehension among students who gave air learning model with convensional learning model. Abstract

The one of technical element is the appearance of teachers teaching in the classroom teaching. The appearance of a good teacher will be able to create an effective learning environment and is able to manage the learning process. The appreance teachers teach are directly related to student motivation, that meaning if the appearance of teachers teaching in accordance with the expectations of students, then students will be motivated to study well. As the results of observations made, data showed the average value of the results of students mathematics learning in the material integers remained low at 55. This is shown still many students who scored less than standard KKM defined in MI Baiturahman Pugung mathematics courses that 60. The low learning achievement, presumably because learning is influenced by several factors, including internal factors such as student motivation, while external factors such as the appearance of teachers in teaching. From the research, that the appearance of teachers teaching and students motivation contributed 86.67% while the rest is determined by other factors. The amount of these contributions shows that the appearance of teachers teaching and students motivation to have a significant correlation with the results of students mathematics learning material especially integers.

Abstract

Mathematical communication has an important role in mathematics learning for instance, sharpening the way of thinking, improving students’ ability in observing the relevance of various mathematics concept, measuring the development of mathematics understanding, and reflecting students’mathematics comprehension. For these reasons, it is crucial to know how far students’mathematical communiation skills. Therefore, this study aims to describe mathematical communication skills of majors students STKIP MPL. Mathematical communication skills are seen through students’answer analysis in solving Calculus II problem. The research subject consists of three students who get score A, B, dan C. Based on the analysis result found that mathematical communication skills of these subjects are able to communicate mathematical ideas by using pictures and Mathematics symbols. However, they have differences ability in describing and analysing. The first subject is able to describe and analyze pictures precisely. The second subject is not able to describe pictures well, thus the pictures are difficult to understand. While the third subject is able to describe pictures well but can not analyze the picture so the problem solving method is not appropriate. Abstract

This research aimed to find out: (1) which one gives better in mathematics learning achievement, learning models of Teams Assisted Individualization or conventional, (2) which one have better in mathematics learning achievement, students having climbers, campers or quitters of Adversity Quotient, (3) in each learning model, the level of Adversity Quotient which one have better mathematics learning achievement, students having climbers, campers or quitters of Adversity Quotient, (4) in each student’s level of Adversity Quotient which one gives better in mathematics learning achievement, learning models of TAI or conventional. This research was a quasi-experimental research with 2 x 3 factorial design. The population of research was all students in XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon. The samples were chosen by using cluster random sampling. The instruments that were used to collect the data were the documentation of mathematics achievement, questionnaire of Adversity Quotient and test of mathematics achievement. The result of research showed as follows: (1) learning model TAI provided better learning achievement than conventional, (2) the students having climbers, campers, and quitters had equally mathematics learning achievement, (3) in each learning model, the students having climbers, campers, and quitters had equally mathematics learning achievement, (4) in each Adversity Quotient, learning model TAI provided better learning achievement than conventional. Abstract

The research aims to enhance the problem solving on a rectangular material and to produce a decent learning tools used in learning. This study uses the ADDIE model development phase Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The population in this research is class VII SMP N 29 Semarang. The results of the validation expert and student questionnaire mostly indicate the criteria very well. So the device is valid to implement. The results showed teaching materials based comic character education to enhance the problem-solving rectangular material is worthy of (valid) or can be used as teaching materials. Problem solving ability of students to use teaching materials are also comics more effective than student learning outcomes using conventional learning model in the subject matter quadrilateral.

Abstract

The study purpose to find out the differences in mathematical learning with using cooperative Numbered Head TogetherI (NHT) learning model aided by geogebra on the students problem solving ability in mathematical learning in SMPN 3 Pasar Kemis. This is research use experimental method and control, the quantitative research design with nonequivalent control grup design. Population in this research were student of class VII. The collection techniques samples using purposive sampling. The research shows that there any different between the problem solving ability in rectangular and student by learning model NHT aided Geogebra to student who were given conventional learning model. Abstract

In globalization era, quality has related to work which produces goods and service. School is organization that produces service. In order to obtain qualified school, it needs quality of human resources such the head master, teachers, and staff. This study tries to know how is the general description of implementation school’s quality assurance system and quality standard decision in SMPN 25 B. Lampung. To investigate and analyze the phenomenon of research focus, the researcher used qualitative study by using three steps namely orientation, exploration, and member check. The result shows that to achieve quality school, it not only relies, on school management quality using indicator eight standard of national education but also the existence of specific experience habitually. Quality assurance system consistently has been applied since the beginning of educational school. Good management school and quality assurance system impacts on educational quality. It is influenced by some factors: a) factor of purpose, b) educator factor, c) students factor, d) infrastructure factor, and e) environmental factor.
