Abstract

Treasure in the Qur'an referes to as al-mal or al-amwal (in the plural). These words (al-mal or al-amwal) get big attention in the Qoran so that it has been repeated as many as 86 times. According to Islam, the properties or treasure of people should be used for human life, such as paying employee wages, returning the loan, paying zakat, he dowry, and so on. Moreover, the treasure should be spent to strengthen kinship (ukhuwah), and to overcome the gap between the aghniya (the rich) and dhu'afa (the poors). In general, it can be concluded that Islam pushes the use of treasure to do good thing that leads to realize a prosperous society, and equity

Abstract

Murtada Muthahhari is a modern Moslem thinker who has progressive ideas. Beside he was so concern with religious disciplines; he also paid attention to modern thought. His interesting idea deals with historical materialism. In his analysis, he criticized the idea of Karl Marx that considered historical dynamic was determined by economic power, class determinism, and products advancement. According to Muthahhari, Islam views the objective and fate of history together with its evolution as the last struggle on the unbelief. The verse of al-Quran dealing with violence does not mean to settle the universal principles. Those verses do not describe the historical dynamic nor historical mechanism. Muthahhari was on the opinion that history was not only materalism but non materialism as well

Abstract

The term of state in some experts has various definition. This   cannot be avoided because of different thought in understanding the term. The different of environment in which they live, the different of social politic, and the belief of religion are the factors influencing the thought. The difference, thus also would add more knowledge to our insight because it will complete and perfect each other. On the other side, someone can disagree with this term, but he must agree to  require the state, because the state represent the politic instrument to implement the unity and welfare in living together. The function of state in management of government should be rised namely the function of application in governmental statute.  The people in this case are to get  the right of authority to apply the function of government.  The way of thought can  understand  the ideal government that is the government that can understand the desire and aspiration of community

Abstract

This writing explored about the poverty. In Islamic perspective, the poverty is resulted from; natural disaster, structured system, human and nature exploitation, political and economic system. Abstract

Imam Syafi’i as one of Islamic school founder has codificated an Islamic law philosophical formulation that was documented in a book named Ar-Risalah. This book contains a very detailed formulation of Islamic law philosophy. It envolves the global and general formula that can become a handbook for Moslem to know the law of Islam. The law source disclosed by Syafi’i refered to Al-Quran and Hadis. By this book, a faqih (an expert in Islamic law) can consider law conclution and decide a religious code in accordance with prophet’s teaching.

The method used in this research is explorative where the writer explored all hadis relating to this topic which have been classified according to the way of hadis research. After analizing some hadis, the writer concludes that adolescent education is very important to bring them reach the maturity. Abstract

The first verse was sent by Allah swt. to the Prophet Muhammad saw. is the command to learning and teaching. From this fact, it can be concluded that Islam is very concerned with teaching and learning (in the context of studying). Thus, Islam obligates its followers to learn and teach. Moreover, in the Qur’an it can be found many sentences or verses which suggest Moslems to use their intelectual capacity, such as; ya'qilun (to think), yatafakkarun (to observe), yubsirun (to delight), yasma'un (to hear) and so on. Globalization in education could be considered as one of education challenge to recent years, and nobody can avoid it. Indonesia as a nation should face this challenge and put strategies to get chances from global interactions and not only to be consuments of international market but to be a player from international communities

Abstract

The theme of sadaqah in hadith (the Prophet’s traditions) can be grouped into two categories, namely, zakah that is considered as wajib (obligation) and sadaqah that is assumed ordinary Sunnah (tatawwu'). Majority of ulama (Moslem scholars) concluded that sadaqah is an important part in the lives of Moslems. The sadaqah could strengthen horizontal linkages among human beings especially Moslems. In general, Islam considers that from a legal perspective and its funcion sadaqah is priority obligation because not only is an indicator of the truth of one's faith or belief in God as his God and Muhammad as the Messenger of Allah, but also sadaqah if it is managed and utilized in the maximum way it will be able to minimize poverty especially among Moslems
