Abstract

The television show is not only have a positive impact, but also the negative impact if not filtered properly, the impact would affect the behavior of television viewers. The majority of television shows are currently only prioritize entertainment, and the exclusion of education inside them. KPID has been have some strategys to bring the desired goals. This research aims to determine how the communication strategy communication of Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Riau in optimizing media literacy programs to television viewers in Riau and the obstacles encountered in performing that strategy communication of KPID in optimizing media literacy programs to television viewers in Riau.This research was conducted in (KPID) Riau Jl. Gajah Mada No. 200 Pekanbaru. for the record, this research using deskriptif kualitatif metode and analisis model data interactive miles and Huberman. Informants in this research are the commissioner of KPID Riau, students, and perents. Data collection techniques are using observations, interviews and documentations.The results of the reasearch showed that strategy communication of Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Riau so obvious a way to optimize the literacy of media between knowing a target communications, communications media selection, message communication assessment purposes, the role of communicators in the communication to the charms and the credibility of the source, the formation of KCM and KCSI, and cooperation. As for the KPID constraints in optimizing media literacy program is the community, the lack of public understanding of media literacy, as well as the public areas that are difficultKey Word :Strategy of communication, Audience, media literacy.

Abstract

This paper discusses the differences before the abolition of trade barriers as a whole and after the holding of the elimination of tariff barriers as a whole since the merger of Mexico into NAFTA. This study is compiled from some resourse and references including book, newspaper, magazines and some site in internet. It is qualitative method by using the theory of international organization of Michael Hass. With the issuance of Chapter 7 of the regulation of agricultural trade regulation and enforcement of the FTA in total, helping boost agricultural exports products throughout the NAFTA member countries, especially Mexico. This research regulations issued by the NAFTA on agriculture have a positive impact on agriculture in Mexico on the mark with the growing number of Mexican farm exports in the current holding of tariff elimination.Key words : Regional Organizations, International Political Economy, NAFTA, Mexico.

Abstract

Pekanbaru City government has set a minimum wage for Rp.1.450.000 Pekanbaru City, - per month for the year 2013, as stated in Riau Governor Regulation No. 67 Year 2012 on Minimum Wage District / City Seprovinsi Riau in 2013. With the enactment of the Governor of Riau expected labor welfare will increase and as an effort to improve the welfare of society. The problem in this research is how the implementation of the minimum wage Pekanbaru City and inhibiting factors in carrying out the implementation of the minimum wage of Pekanbaru. As for the goal in this study to determine the extent of implementation of the minimum wage Pekanbaru City and to determine the factors inhibiting the implementation of the minimum wage in the process of Pekanbaru.Theoretical concept that researchers used is implementation, public policy. This study uses qualitative research methods to study descriptively. In collecting the data, the researcher used interview techniques, observation, and literature study. By using key informants as a source of information.The results showed that the implementation of the minimum wage Pekanbaru City conducted by the Department of Labor has not been effective Pekanbaru City. Limiting factors in implementing the minimum wage implementation of Pekanbaru, namely: lack of complaints that workers can not wage minimum wage, maximum less supervision, the absence of strict sanctions.Keywords: Implementation, Public Policy, minimum wage.

Abstract

Traffic and road transport is part of the national transportation system must be developed to realize the potential and role of security, safety, order and the smooth traffic and road transport in order to support economic development and regional development. Transportation system must be in order and continuously refined to ensure the mobility of people and goods in order to ensure the welfare of society. Therefore to realize the implementation of traffic and road transport that is safe, safe, orderly, and well, need the support of the network and the availability of support facilities and transport traffic and good road worthy. As the result of the author’s observation on the field are still many roads that the country siak not equipped with traffic signs in conformity with the needs and placement of signs that do not consider the condition of the road, the placement of signs that do not consider the condition of the road will cause hazardous conditions for the road users. Problem is this research is how to coordinate the setting of traffic signs in siak district and what are the factors that affect the coordination arrangement of traffic signs in siak district. As for the purpose of this research is to investigate the coordination arrangement of traffic signs and to determine the factors that influence the coordination arrangement of traffic signs.The concept of the theory is that researchers use is the organization, coordination, traffic signs, and traffic. This study uses qualitative research methods to study descriptive data. In data collection, the researcher used interview techniques, observation and study of literature. Using key informans as a source of information.The results of this study indicate that the coordination arrangements of traffic signs in siak district has not been efektive, it can be seen from the lack of traffic signs in siak district roads and there are many signs that the placement is not in accordance with the road conditions. Factors that affect the coordination arrangement of traffic signs is the organization of work, work methods, scheduling, and cost.Keywords: Coordination, Traffic Signs, Traffic

Abstract

This research describes the Government Policies In Empowerment Bhutan TourismSector to Enter SAFTA (South Asian Free Trade Area) 2002-2007. Bhutan's tourism industrybegan in 1974 It was introduced with the main objective to increase revenue, especiallyforeign exchange and publish unique culture and traditions of the country to the outsideworld, and contribute to socio-economic development of the country. In the tourism sector,tourism policy of Bhutan also developed in accordance with the principle of "high value lowimpact".Bhutan tourism development experience a variety of problems, challenges andobstacles that national and global scale. There should also be a change of paradigm inlooking at tourism in the context of national development.The research method used is a descriptive of qualitative research method about thefacts. This research is an explanatory that describe about problem, indication, policies, andactions. In writing techniques, the author’s collect and collate data through library researchfrom several sources like books, journals, articles, websites, the media and others. Theauthor’s also use decision making theory and the theory of comparative advantage.This research shows Bhutan's development philosophy is based on GNH has becomethe principle for socio-economic development of Bhutan. The concept of GNH defines Bhutandevelopment goals as improvement in the happiness and satisfaction of the people better thanthe growth of Gross National Product (GNP). Abstract

This research would explain about Indonesia Motivate to apply SNI Regulation for import‘s toys. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) agreement is Indonesia's economy has improved or deteriorated. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study is the ACFTA a positive impact on SMEs in Indonesia, because ACFTA growing number of SMEs in Indonesia.A toy is an object which has close relationship whit child safety. As its primary consumer.Many accidents were happen to the children due to misused, not applyto the age concern. Since toys may create accident for the children, several countries has obliged their standards as a technical requirement for the product to comply if they want to be marketed in the country. Indonesia plans to implement the toys standards. The readiness of SNI was conducte throught analyzing the availibility of SNI compare to international reference. Standardization is one of the instruments of technical regulations that can protect the interests of consumers nationwide and as well as domestic producers. Through technical regulations based on standardization can be prevented circulation of goods that are not qualified in the domestic market, especially related to health, safety, security, and environment conservation. Through the same instrument, can be prevented the entry of imported goods of low quality which distort the domestic market because of low-priced.The research shows that Indonesia took strategy to apply SNI of import’s toy with preasure the import’ toys use in regulation to be increas national product competition.Keywords:Motivation,toys,ACFTA, Import, technical regulations, mandatory SNI.

Abstract

Social media twitter is a gathering place for those people who want to shareinformation and a place to make new friends and interact online. Therefore, todaymany social media twitter accounts are present using the brand image as businessaccount because success of the twitter to promote products and services. Amidst themany other competitors that carries the same brand image, @PekanbaruCo managein building a brand image as a business accounts evidenced by an increase infollowers and clients. The background of this study aims to determine how marketingcommunication strategies social media twitter @PekanbaruCo in building brandimage and what supporting and inhibiting factors of marketing communicationstrategyto build brand image a social media twitter @PekanbaruCo.This study will be held in CV. Mitra Promo Andalan at Jalan Sekuntum 2No. 2 Delima, Tampan, Pekanbaru. The study will use a purposive samplingtechnique (purposive sampling). The Informans in this study are 7 peoples, thatconsist of 1 leader of CV.Mitra Promo Andalan, 1 founder of @PekanbaruCo,2clients, and 3 followers of sosial media twitter @PekanbaruCo.The result showed the marketing communication strategy that do in sosialmedia twitter @PekanbaruCo to build brand image through advertising, salespromotion, personal selling, publicity, direct marketing. Abstract

Implementation of MICE management operationalize theoretical concepts inthe book P.Hasibuan Terry GR (2005) that state that the management process consistsof: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling.Growing MICE industry in Indonesia, including the city of Pekanbaru. CityGoverment continues to initiate Pekanbaru city as MICE city in Sumatera. One of theleading institutions that have a major role in the realization of this idea is thePangeran hotel Pekanbaru. which is a four-star hotel MICE service providers with ahigh number of events.The formulation of the research problem is how the implementation of theMICE management in Pangeran Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses descriptivequalitative research with census sampling. The data collected with observation,interview and questionnaire.Based on research in the field, the original purpose of the existence of MICEin Pangeran Hotel Pekanbaru is a venue to facilitate and serve each agency ororganization that will organize a MICE event. Implementation of MICE managementhas done well, ranging from the planning stage, organizing, actuating and controllinghas done well. Management process has been carried out in accordance with existingrules and procedures for this purpose so that the company has exceeded the target set.But there are still some factors that affect the implementation of the MICEmanagement in Pangeran hotel Pekanbaru is human resources, infrastructures andmeans of motivation. Still inadequate number of available resources in terms of bothnumber and skill and still very rarely done given training so that skills training andjob performance is still lacking. And also still lack the necessary infrastructure thusaffecting the services provided.Implementation of MICE management in Pangeran hotel Pekanbaru should beimproved so that the achievement of corporate goals can be realized with betterconsidering the high number and complexity of existing competition.Keywords: Management, Hotel, MICE

Abstract

Analysis of Birth Certificate Child Care Arrangements in Peknabru City.Service is one of the things that really need to get the attention of the government, sothat the user community services were satisfied with the service provided. In relationto the above Department of Population and Civil Registration Pekanbaru City is oneof the agencies authorized to provide services to the community, especially in theareas of service birth certificate.Birth certificate is a certificate issued by the competent authority, which isrelated to the birth in order to acquire or obtain legal certainty against someone. Deedmade based on reports of births conveyed within the time limit no later than 60(sixty) working days for the citizen and 10 (ten) working days from the date of birthfor foreigners baby.This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Researchers aretrying to reveal the facts in accordance with the reality. This study does not seek orexplain relationships, not to test hypotheses or make predictions. The data will bedescribed by what it is so it can be an understanding.From the research it can be concluded that the Birth Certificate Child CareArrangements in Pekanbaru city has not done well. It can be seen from the results ofthe interviews and the data that has been presented previously that of indicators ofprofessionalism and skills, attitudes and behaviors, and trustworthy reliability,accessibility and flexibility, repair, reputation and credibility of the Birth CertificateChild Care Arrangements in City Pekanbaru not run with the maximum there are stillthings that are not in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure which has beapplicable.Key words: Care, Birth Certificate, Department of Population and Civil Registration

Abstract

Election of Regional Head and Deputy Head of Pekanbaru in 2011 experienced a significant decline in giving the right to vote in the General Election. The phenomenon of low community participation in Election of Regional Head and Deputy Head (Mayor) Kota Pekanbaru dated May 18, 2011 in the Village District of Sail King of Love is based on data obtained showed 38.62% of the voters list (DPT) which does not give the right suranya. It is a form of disappointment experienced by the people against the government and prospective leaders can not changes in the field of life towards a better direction. Most people feel by the behavior of the government and legislators who pay less attention to the people and fight for their interests.The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of respondents who did not choose and what factors are causing the people who have registered as voters list (DPT) did not vote in the elections in the Village District of Sail Love King by using the theory of participation. This research study merupakakan Quantitative Descriptive, then for the data analysis techniques presented in tabular form. This study aimed to use your questionnaire and observation to obtain information in the study.Based on the research that has been described, it is known that factors that affect people who have registered as voters list (DPT) did not vote in the elections in 2011 are due to the apathy of society, cynicism, alienation and anomiKeyword : NonParticipation, Election, and Final Voters List (DPT)
