Abstract

This research aims to explain the impact of cooperation by the Indonesian wooden furniture industry exports to the Algeria in 2014-2016. Algeria has routinely imported wooden furniture from Malaysia to supply their needs in domestic furniture. In fact, Algerian entrepeneurs know furniture from Malaysia mostly come from Indonesia. One of the factors because there is no agreement from Indonesia and Algeria to cooperate in the industrial sector especially the furniture industry sector.The theories used in this research is interdependence theory and comparative advantage thery. The author used liberalism approach. Data of this research was obtained from books, journals, articles, official document and websites that support the hyphotesis.The result of this study indicate that after the agreement, the dollar exchange rate at that time also affected the amount of wooden furniture exports. If the dollar is more expensive, then the interest of furniture buyers come down because of the buyers want the same price as before the dollar increase. Apart from the amount of wooden furniture exports, the number of workers and the number of furniture industrial also affected.Keywords: Wooden Furniture, Exports, Dollar Exchange

Abstract

One of the government objectives is to realize the highest degree of health both individual and society health, as in the contents of Law No. 36 of 2009 Article 46 on health efforts. To objectify good health can be started from the improvement of nutritional status of the community, so it will reduce malnutrition cases in Indonesia.If we let it, it will be able to cause death in malnourished children under five. All areas in Indonesia today still have cases of malnutrition in children under five. Like in Riau province, Pekanbaru City which became the center of the provincial capital is also experiencing cases of malnutrition. Through Health Official of Pekanbaru City, Government of pekanbaru keep doing efforts to reduce the cases of malnutrition. The effort is stated by the Minister of Health Regulation number 23 of 2014 on efforts to improve nutrition. In article 20 stated about malnutrition management that aims to improve nutritional status with the priority of reducing the mortality rate for children under five malnutrition. The purpose of this research is to know how implementation and factors affect the implementation of the Community Nutrition Improvement Program in Pekanbaru City. The concept used is a management theory according to Sudirdjo in Manulang about management, which refers to four (4) elements in management, planning, organizing, directing, and supervising. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive data analysis. In the data collection, the researcher uses an interview technique, observation and documentation using a snowball sampling method as the source of information and data analysis with qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that in the implementation of the nutrition improvement program, there are some factors that become obstacles in implementing this program. The obstacles in running the community nutrition improvement program are not only related to the problems of the government related to the budget, but also the constraints of the community who have not fully participated to be active in every activity undertaken by the government related to nutritional health Keywords: Program, Implementation, Management

Abstract

This research describes the efforts of Wakatobi society in making Wakatobi National Park as the world's biosphere reservation by UNESCO. Since long time ago, indigenous people of Wakatobi had done the environmental conservation through the folklore. Through the folklore Wakatobi people are able to build awareness in the society about the importance of environmental conservation of Wakatobi itself.This research uses international tourism theory and pluralism perspective. In the international relations, plurarism is not only about the relation between states, but also relationships between individuals and interest groups where the state does not always play the main actor and single actor. The data are collected through books, journals and internet media. The level of analysis used is the group analysis level. This analysis level assumes that the policy adopted by a decision maker is influenced by the groups around it.In July 2012 the United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) officially decided Wakatobi National Park as the World's Biosphere Reservation because of the three interests of local Wakatobi society, such as wisdom, environmental sustainability and sustanaible economic interests of the society. The three interests that encourage the UNESCO make the marine area of Wakatobi National Park as the center of the World's Biosphere Reservation.Keywords : Wakatobi, UNESCO, National Park, Environment

Abstract

The high infant mortality rate is still a serious problem in Indonesia. Overcoming this problem the government promote the Exclusive Breastfeeding Program and set it in the Government Regulation Number 33 of 2002. Cinta ASI Riau Community as a support group in Exclusive Breastfeeding Program then actively doing persuasive communication to convince mothers to breastfeeding their babies. The purpose of this research is to know the persuasive communication activity conducted by Lactation Counselor of Cinta ASI Community in the aspect of credibility of persuader, persuasive message, media selection and the resultant effect in the effort to increase mother participation in Exclusive Breastfeeding Program in Pekanbaru City.This research uses qualitative research method with Applebaum & Anatol’s persuasive communication model. Determination of the research informant was conducted based on purposive techniques, amounted to 6 person. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman’s interactive data models.The results show that Lactation Counselor of Cinta ASI Riau Community has credibility as a persuader that built from skill aspect through training and certification program and trustworthy aspect from counselor action and practice. Persuasive messages delivered consist of verbal messages including clarity, preciseness, and accuracy in providing information and education about the program. While the nonverbal message seen from the body notion in the form of counselor’s body movements; paralanguage of counselor's intonation; the sensitivity of the skin by giving a touch on the mother's shoulder that displays the closeness and counselor’s care; and use the artifacts with props and counselor appearance. The media selection consists of direct media conducted on home visit/counseling and indirect media using brochures, banners and social media Facebook, Twitter AIMI_Riau and WhatsApp Group Cinta ASI Riau. The resultant effect, first is cognition effect by increased knowledge, understanding and awareness of the mother. Second, affection effect is the mother's consideration about the importance of breastfeeding for the baby and third, conation effect with the mother's actions in breastfeeding on her baby.Keywords: Persuasive Communication, Lactation Counselor, Exclusive Breastfeeding.

Abstract

In response to the development of the world today almost all aspects of the activities are always related to information. In the organization of development and maximize the utilization of technology. This change has changed the perspective of each person in doing various activities one of which is the activities of government agencies. The structure of service providers and institutional readiness and the demands of the times for future public services in the form of e-government.Pekanbaru Municipal Government is one of the Regency / Municipal Government in Indonesia has implemented electronic government in running its government affair for the realization of good governance. In the case of this e-government development program Pekanbaru Municipal Government through the Office of Information Communications Statistics and Pekanbaru City Persandian have a role to manage the implementation of electronic data or e-government. However, the aspect especially in the utilization of internet media or internetanan network in Pekanbaru City Government largely has not been utilized optimally.The purpose of this research is to find how dept of information communication strategy statistika and persandian city pekanbaru in the application of e-government in the city pekanbaru.The study is done by using the method qualitative study assessment data with a sort of descriptive set.In data collection, researchers used technique interview, observassi, and documentation of using key informants a source of information.This research result indicates that strategy the application of e-government in the city pekanbaru who guided by presidential no. 3 years 2003 on policy and e-government development strategy and in accordance with the mayor pekanbaru no. 107 years 2016 via the communication information statistika and persandian city pekanbaru been going on and under development .But in implementation of the done by the agency communication information statistika and persandian city pekanbaru not maximum for infrastructure is weak and the lack of human resources to hit the acceleration e-government .Keywords: Strategy, E-Government, Pekanbaru City

Abstract

This research was conducted in Kandis City of Siak Regency with the aim to obtain information about Marriage Relationship "Sirang so Sirang" In Ethnic Batak Toba Kristen family in Kandis City. Some of the problems in this research are (1) How is the process of "Sirang so Sirang" (Pisah tidak Pisah) occurring in the marital relationship of Ethnic Batak Toba Kristen family? (2) Who are the families of ethnic Batak Toba Christians who make a marriage relationship "Sirang so Sirang" (Pisah tidak Pisah)? (3) What are the benefits and disadvantages that occur with the relationship of Marriage "Sirang so Sirang" (Pisah tidak Pisah) in the Ethnic Batak Toba Christianity ?. The title of this research is:"MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP" Sirang So Sirang "(Pisah tidak Pisah) In Family Ethnic Toba Batak Christian In Kandis City Siak Regency". The research is done to know how the process of the happening of Sirang so Sirang in the marriage relationship of Ethnic Batak Toba Christian family and anyone who do the marriage relationship and know the benefit and the loss that happened with the marriage relationship Sirang so Sirang in Ethnic Batak Toba Kristen family. In this study subjects who got until the data saturated (Snowball) amounted to 10 people. Those who are the subject are those who know and experience and are directly involved. The data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. Interviews conducted were in-depth interviews. After doing this research, marriage relationship sirang so sirang in Toba Christian Batak family is the choice taken by both partner because where adat and religion adopted is not allowed divorce, and also involves both family member so that it is considered as a disgrace both big family because custom parties have been determined through partuturan, tarombo, and parhundulan position. Of these problems have more and have negative impact. The work that can be done for this problem is for couples to appreciate and enjoy the wisdom of marriage in Christianity as a sacred and sacred marriage so that for each couple can commit to the marriage that has been undertaken.Keywords: Relationships, Family, Batak Toba, Kristen, Sirang so Sirang

Abstract

This study examines the Tradition of Basiacuong Koto Tibun Kecamatan Kampar Kabupaten Kampar. Basiacuong is one of the language culture of Kampar custom in general, is also a custom of the people of Desa Koto Tibun. This custom is inherited from their ancestors. Basiacuong used by ninik mamak Kampar in various custom events or not, such as opening Undiong "Runding" at weddings, eating bejambau, inauguration of adat, festivity, naming of children, circumcision and others. In this research, examined the form of social capital contained in the tradition of basiacuong and also the system maintains the tradition of basiacuong. Researchers use the theory of the habitus, arena and capital of Bourdieu. The research method is qualitative descriptive with the number of research subjects 9 people consisting of ninik mamak persukuan, kemenakan persukuan, people who learn basiacuong, community leaders and society. The results of this study indicate that the form of social capital contained in the tradition basiacuong the social capital, cultural capital, and symbolic capital. The author finds the system to maintain the existence of basiacuong tradition. Social capital is an important aspect of the strategy being implemented. By establishing a very harmonious relationship, well and get familiar with it all with the ninik mamak persukuan, kemenakan persukuan and people learn basiacuong to maintain basiacuong. Then the system to maintain the existence of basiacuong tradition by teaching and coaching to the young generation to continue the tradition of basiacuong, kemenakan and ninik mamak from each tribe teach and nurture to the youth generation.Keywords: Tradition, Basiacuong, Social Capital

Abstract

The development of social media today accommodate a variety of works. Ideas in the form of photos, videos and writings and even potrait and comics including the types of works that can be found on various social media. Social media both content and characteristics of social media is quite diverse, most social media is a place to socialize, share opinions and chatting through chat but social media a little different is LINE Webtoon. LINE Webtoon is a digital comic reading app that is part of LINE's social media products. Comics on social media LINE Webtoon can be accessed for free and have many different genres and titles. The webtoon user segmentation is quite extensive, ranging from 14 years old to adults including among students. Researchers want to know the influence of social media LINE Webtoon to interest in reading comic students of Riau University. LINE Webtoon social researcher used by students of Riau University and students to respond in the form of interest in reading comics. The purpose of this study to determine the influence of social media LINE Webtoon to interest in reading comic students of Riau University.The method used is the method of quantitative explanation research, data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires. The number of samples in this study were 96 respondents. Sampling using Accidental Sampling. To find out how big the influence of these two variables, the researcher uses a simple linear analysis. For data processing questionnaire, done by using Program Statistic Product And Service Solution (SPSS) Windows version 17.The results of research on the influence of social media LINE Webtoon with indicators (Participation, Openness, Conversation, Community and Interconnected) to the interest in reading comics (the need for reading, reading-seeking, fun to read, interest in reading, continued) on the students of Riau University obtained regression coefficient value Y = 5.904 + 0.610 X with a significance level of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. This means that there is an influence of social media LINE Webtoon to interest in reading comics on students of the University of Riau for 49.7% and fall into the middle category of influence is. The percentage indicates that Social Media LINE Webtoon affects reading interest. thus H0 is rejected and Ha accepted.Keyword : Social Media, LINE Webtoon, Interest in reading comics

Abstract

Research on the Implementation Ceremony Javanese in Kepenghuluan Harapan Makmur Rokan Hilir. This research was conducted with the aim to explain how changes in the Java Tribe pelksanaa marriage and what factors cause these changes. In this study the author uses qualitative research which is an attempt to present the social world, and perspective in life, in terms of concept, behavior, perception, and the question of human examined. Data collection techniques using purposive sampling method, where the subject is determined by the researchers itself, which consists of key informants 2, informants consist of 5 people. The data collection technique using observation, interview and documentation. The research proves that indeed there is a change at some stage events are held such as: the preparation phase before the wedding, the implementation phase which formerly carried out in detail, but now people prefer to carry out the events that are considered important. This is influenced by several factors such as the times are increasingly changing, the economic factor is the cost factor associated with the lineage of tribal and environmental factors a person's residence.Keywords: Implementation, marriage ceremony, Javanese

Abstract

The placement of billboards has a major influence on urban life because the billboard media is often the place where information can be delivered effectively. The reality of billboards in JPO is very disturbing for users of pedestrian bridges because of the large billboards that are not in accordance with the less well maintained JPO Pekanbaru.This study aims to determine the Implementation of Mayor Regulation Pekanbaru Number 24 of 2013 on the Implementation of Reklame In Pekanbaru City (Case Studies Bulletin Board At the Crossing Crossroads of Pekanbaru City). Theoretical concept of the researcher is the implementation of the policy by using the Mazmanian and Sabatier theory by looking at the data obtained will be discussed thoroughly based on the fact that the institution or research office is implemented. Then compared with the concept and theory that support. The research method used is qualitative research with descriptive data assessment. In the data collection, researchers used interview techniques, observations, and documentation set based on Snowball sampling.Based on the results of research show that not yet opimal this is seen there are deficiencies, there are many billboards that pairs in JPO that JPO own conditions are not good and many are not feasible and JPO development is not in accordance with the criteria. The factors that influence this research are poor communication, lack of public participation and attitude of executor.Keywords: Implementation, Policy, People Crossing Bridge
