Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) The influence of organizational climate on turnover intention of PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru, 2) Effect of organizational climate on Job Satisfaction of employees of PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru, 3) Effect of Job Satisfaction on turnover intentions of employees of PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru, 4) Effect of organizational climate on turnover intentions of employees of PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru through job satisfaction as a mediating variable.This research is a study using a quantitative approach. The subject of this research is PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru with 118 employees. Data collection using questionnaires, and data analysis using SEM-PLS analysis with warpPLS 4.0 software.The results of this study indicate that: 1) organizational climate has a significant negative effect on turnover intentions of employees of PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru, 2) organizational climate has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru, 3) Job satisfaction has a significant negative effect on turnover intention of PT. Gita Riau Makmur (HINO) Pekanbaru, 4) Job satisfaction mediates the influence of organizational climate on turnover intention of PT. Abstract

A coffee shop is a place that basically provides coffee drinks or other hot drinks. The Coffee Shop Kim Teng Pekanbaru is a legendary coffee shop in the city of Pekanbaru. This study aims to find out how the social functions of coffee shops in the city of Pekanbaru, especially in the Kim Teng Pekanbaru coffee shop. The data of this study were collected through interviews and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. From the results of the analysis in this study it can be concluded that coffee shops have socio-economic, political and cultural functions. The main social function of the coffee shop is as a gathering place for people from various groups who use coffee shops as a place to carry out activities to achieve their goals or to fulfill their coffee needs. Furthermore, based on the results of direct observation and observation, the writer can conclude that the issues discussed are work, economic, social, and political issues that are happening in the community.Keywords: Coffee shop, social function

Abstract

The website is a communication media that is not only effective used as a online media provider. One website that is also used as an media provider for various information about tourism in Riau Province. The theory used in this study is the theory of communication effectivity as the main theory and the theory of new media as the supporting theory. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the effectiveness of the Tripriau.com website is as a media for tourism information for the regional community of My Trip My Adventure in Riau Province.This study uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques thas is through online questionnaires using google doc to members of the regional My Trip My Adventure community in Riau Province with a total sample of 119 people who were determined through random sampling techniques. The analysis techniques data in this research using descriptive statistical techniques.The results of this research indicate that the level of communication effectivity of Tripriau.com website as a tourism information media for the regional My Trip My Adventure community of Riau Province is classified as effective. This hasbeen proven by the result of collected data that have been measured by six indicators, each of which reaches an average scale of 3.76 on the message receiver (receiver) indicator, a scale of 3.82 on the content message indicator, 3.99 scale on the channel indicator (media), 3.84 scale on the format indicator, 3.93 scale on the message source indicator (source), and a scale of 3.81 on the timekeeping indicator (timing). So the conclusion obtained by using the average formula of all indicators is 3.85 which is included in the effective scale range. This indicates that Tripriau.com website is an effective as a tourism information media for the regional My Trip My Adventure community of Riau Province.Keyword : Communication effectivity , Information, Website, Tourism

Abstract

The occurrence of natural disasters that occur at this time in Indonesia has become awareness and attention for the community to help, the impact that has had an effect on the continuation of the lives of people in the location of the natural disaster. Awareness and sensitivity to social issues can build a person's character about ways of thinking and behaving that help others to live and work together in building a better life (Chrisiana, 2005). Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Regional Riau is present as a place for distributing aid that makes it easy for the community to donate and be trusted as well as trust. ACT has a disaster emergency program, which handles problems related to events to natural disasters that occur. In the implementation of the program, persuasive communication is carried out so that the people who become the goals can act as expected. The purpose of this study was to determine the credibility of persuaders, persuasive messages, and communication media in the ACT-funded relief activities for victims of natural disasters that occurred in Indonesia.This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The technique of determining research informants using purposive sampling techniques. The informants in this study were ACT Riau Regionalh leader, four ACT Riau administrators, two permanent donors, and one non-permanent donator from ACT Riau. Data collection techniques carried out were interviews, observation, documentation. The validity of the data in this study the author uses an extension of participation and triangulation.The results of the study show that ACT Riau has credibility as a persuader formed from aspects of expertise through experience and mastery of information delivered based on the facts of natural disaster conditions. The persuasive message delivered consists of verbal messages including simple message clarity, message misunderstanding that is easily remembered by the community, and the accuracy of the message objectives in providing information regarding natural disasters that hit a region. Whereas nonverbal messages are seen from facial expressions, intonation, ethics, to the use of attributes as ACT identities. The selection of media consists of Instagram social media, Facebook and print media in the form of banners, billboards, and flayer which are placed in locations where many people pass through.Key Words: Persuasive Communication, Aksi Cepat Tanggap, Persuasive Communication Model of Applebeum & Anatol.

Abstract

The city of Pekanbaru is one of the fastest growing areas with a growing population every year. One of the great potentials that require special attention from the city government of Pekanbaru is the implementation of parking fees that are managed by the Transportation Office of Pekanbaru City based on the Regional Regulation of Pekanbaru City Number 3 of 2009. Within 3 years there has been an increase and decrease or instability in receipt of Parking Retribution. So that it can be concluded that there have been problems that have an impact on the unstable acceptance of parking fees annually. In this case the researcher focuses on the Communication Strategy of the Department of Transportation in increasing the receipt of parking fees. This study aims to determine the strategy of selecting communicators, audiences, messages and media from the Transportation Office of the City of PekanbaruThis research was conducted at the Transportation Office of the City of Pekanbaru. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, with purposive and snowball techniques. In this study 1 informant was chosen from the Head of the Parking UPTD, 1 informant from the TU Head of Parking Unit UPTD, 1 informant from the Head of Supervisory Team I of the UPTD Parking, 6 informants from the parking attendant and the community selected using accidental sampling. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The technique of checking the validity of the data includes the extension of participation and triangulation.The results of the study indicate that the strategy of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Office in increasing the receipt of parking retribution is the communicator or resource person who conveyed the information is the integrated patrol member of the UPTD Parking who knows best and knows the conditions in the field and the behavior of illegal parking attendants. The target audience is the illegal parking attendant who was netted during the routine patrol of the Transportation Agency. The message delivered was persuasive and carried out directly. Abstract

Mass media, especially television, has become an option for the public to get information. The existence of various television channels makes people have many choices to watch quality shows. In the Uses and Gratification theory, audiences use mass media based on certain motives where the media try to meet the needs and satisfaction of the audience. To determine audience satisfaction by measuring satisfaction sought when watching (sought gratification) and satisfaction after watching television (obtained gratification). The purpose of this study is to find out how much satisfaction the audience of Pekanbaru City in watching the news program "Detak Riau Malam" on the local television station Riau Television (Rtv).This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The location of this research is Pekanbaru City, Riau. Sampling was done by accidental sampling with the unknown population formula and obtained a sample of 166 respondents. The researcher used a comparison of the mean to see whether the program "Detak Riau Malam" fulfilled the satisfaction of the audience in Pekanbaru City. While for processing the questionnaire data, it is done by using the Windows version 23 Statistical Of Service Solution (SPSS) Program.The results of this study indicate that the mean motive of watching the program "Detak Riau Malam" (sought gratification) of 2.975 is in the high range where there are differences in the mean value of Gratification Obtained (3.07). It can be concluded that the detak riau malam program can meet the expectations of the Pekanbaru City audience in watching news with GS <GO.Keyword : Local Television, Satisfaction Level, Riau Television

Abstract

Kampung Bandar was a forerunner of founding the Pekanbaru city. Therefore, there is cultural heritage in Kampung Bandar and being tourism destination in Pekanbaru. This study being used to identify the cultural heritage in Kampung Bandar and creating tour package to explore cultural heritage of Kampung Bandar. The research was used qualitative method and descriptive approach. The subject of this research is Village of Kampung Bandar, tourism conscious group (pokdarwis), tourist village organization. The data collection techniques by observation, study document, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique by the reduction of data, presentation of data, and withdrawal of conclusion. The result of this research is Kampung Bandar has cultural attaction that is Rumah Tuan Kadi, Terminal Lama, Rumah Tenun Kampung Bandar, Kampung Melayu, Komplek Makam Marhum Pekan, Mesjid Raya Pekanbaru, Istana Hinggap, Roemah Melayoe 1929, Surau Al-Irhaash. The natural attraction is Sungai Siak and artificial atrraction is loak market. The easy accessibility with good enough road condition. There are amenities in Kampung Bandar and this tour handled by local guide. There was two tour packages offered to explore cultural heritage of Kampung Bandar were one day tour package with price is Rp. 230.000,- and two days one night tour package with price is Rp. 500.000,-.Keywords : Tour Packages, Cultural Heritage, Kampung Bandar

Abstract

The program for setting up and guiding mobile car traders in the city of Pekanbaru is still not optimal with the achievement of specified targets, it can be seen from the program of setting up and guiding the mobile car traders carried out by the Civil Service Police Unit in the city of Pekanbaru not as expected still selling mobile car merchants despite raids and warning letters.The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the enforcement of mobile car traders by the Civil Service Police Unit in Pekanbaru City 2017-2018. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the enforcement of mobile car dealers by the Civil Service Police Unit in Pekanbaru City in 2017-2018 and its obstacles.The results of this study are Based on the results of the research that has been done, the conclusion of the researchers regarding the implementation of the task of the Civil Service Police Unit in controlling mobile car dealers in the city of Pekanbaru is quite accomplished. The obstacle found in this study is the absence of regulations specifically regulating mobile car traders, while currently the authority of the Pekanbaru Civil Service Satpol in controlling mobile car dealers who violate public order only refers to the Pekanbaru City Regulation on Public Order so that this makes the role of the Pekanbaru City Civil Service Satpol very limited. In addition, the still weak coordination between the Civil Service Satpol of the City of Pekanbaru and the Pekanbaru City Market Service were also very influential factors in determining the participation of the Pekanbaru Civil Service Satpol in maintaining public order in Pekanbaru City.Keywords: Ordering, Mobile Car Traders

Abstract

Social media has been in great demand by various agencies and companies both large and small today. Utilization of social media is also carried out by large multi-national companies such as PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP), a company which defecate in industrial environments, RAPP susceptible oblique issues about policy and the environment. RAPP but in fact operates on the principle of 5C initiated by Tanoto as the founder of RAPP that are: Good for the Community, Good for the Country, Good for Climate, Good for the Customer and Good for the Company. Corporate communication as the main communication lines of the company has its own communication strategy in socializing the 5C principles that run the company through social media twitter.The purpose of this research is to find out the communicator strategy, the message strategy and the driving and inhibiting factors of Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper corporate communication strategy in socializing 5C principal through social media twitter.This study used qualitative research methods. Informants in this study is 6 (six) staff corporate communication including social media ambassadors using determined purposive sampling. The data collection technique is through interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is Huberman and Miles model. To achieve the validity of the data, in this study researchers used a triangulation technique.The results showed that the communication strategy used is the strategy aspect of communicator, message strategy and there are also factors driving and inhibiting factors. Communicator strategy is staff corporate communication particularly digital media team as the main communicator and social media ambassador for the company. Strategic corporate communications message composing a message with a specific composition, timing and type of messages that will be shared. The message type is divided into two, namely the message informative and persuasive messages. As for the driving and inhibiting factors, from there driving factors of internal factors. Abstract

The Mass media is a media or space that can be used to publish both information and entertainment to the public. One of the many information programs presented by the media, especially television, is the reality show program. One of them is a reality show called Net 86 which was produced in collaboration between NET and the Republic of Indonesia National Police which contains cooperation between police personnel in exposing a crime. In Cultivation theory that mass media imposes attitudes and values on the audience. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of information exposure from the "86" program on NET TV on the legal awareness of the Simpang Tiga Village community.The method used in this research is quantitative method. Data collection tecniques in this study using a questionnaire. The number of samples for this study were 100 respondent. Sampling using simple random sampling method. To determine the influence of these two variables, the reseachers used a simple linier regresion analysis. For the processing of questinaire data, were performed using the statistical product and service solution (SPSS) Windows Version 17.Result of reseach on the effect of Indonesia Lawyers Club talkshow program against education law faculty of law, University of regretion coefficient values obtained in this study is Y=8.796 + 1.277 with a significant level of less than α = 0,05. This means that there are significant the effect exposure to information on the 86 in net tv program of the community law awarenes bukit raya pekanbaru city amounted to 57,3% and in the category of medium effect. These percentages shows that the Information Exposure to Programs 86 on Tv Net has an effect on the Public Legal Awareness of Simpang Tiga Village, Bukit Raya Pekanbaru City. Thus H0 is rejecte and Ha accepted.Keyword : Exposure to Information, TV Program, Society
