Abstract

Service Excellence is one term that evolved into today's marketing management science. Excellent service can actualize customer loyalty, so it is expected that the company's sales continue to increase. In order to build customer loyalty, Toyota dealers rely on personnel at the front liner, one of them is a Sales Assistant (SAS), which has an obligation to provide excellent services to customers. There are 6 (six) variable-rate service (service excellence) to customers who simultaneously carried out by the SAS as well. The variables of service excellence, among others: (1) the ability, (2) attitude, (3) appearance, (4) attention, (5) the action, and (6) accountability. Service excellence variables are understood, believed and done by the SAS in order to increase sales in AUTO 2000 Sukun-Malang branch. Service excellence variable is also a full concern and as a matter of evaluation for the Branch Manager or Supervisor, thus becoming one of the important materials in trainings conducted by the company. That from the six (6) variables excellence SAS service provided to the customer has a different order of priority for the SAS of AUTO 2000 Sukun-Malang branch. However, the results of this study, the majority of SAS convey that attitude is the main variable that they have prioritized for display to the customer, and this is recognized by the Supervisor and Head of Branch in AUTO 2000 Sukun-Malang branch. Keywords: Service excellence, Sales Assistant (SAS), Astra International, Toyota  AUTO 2000.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan konsep lindung nilai (hedging)dalam transaksi keuangan syariah. Penelitian ini menganalisis pada akad salam dan akad murabahah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  bahwa  lindung  nilai  (hedging)  sebagai  pendekatan  manajemen risiko untuk mengurangi risiko dengan membatasi kemungkinan terjadinya kerugian  yang  ditimbulkan akibat  ketidakstabilan  harga komoditas,  nilai mata uang ataupun surat berharga. Akad salam dan akad murabahah dapat dijadikan sebagai lindung nilai (hedging) dalam transaksi keuangan syariah   karena pada kedua akad telah disegel atau dikunci di awal pada saat akad. Oleh karena itu, dengan disegel atau dikuncinya harga di awal saat akad akan melindungi nilai di masa yang akan datang karena fluktuasi harga. Selain itu, tujuan lindung nilai adalah untuk mengurangi risiko dalam transaksi.  Kata Kunci: Lindung Nilai (Hedging), Salam, Murabahah, Risiko

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the four variables that consist of Brand Origin, Brand Awareness, Brand Personality, and Brand Image on the evaluation on Purchase Intention either partially and dominant on potential consumer of beer Bintang “Radler” in Malang city. The type of research is explanatory research. This  research was conducted in Malang city. There are 110 questionnaires distributed to every consumer who has known and bought beer Bintang “Radler”. The sampling  technique was purposive sampling and the research instruments were tested using Validity Test, Realibility Test and Classical Assumption Test. The data analysis testing used Multiple Regression Analysis. The hypothesis testing used was T test. Result showed that Brand Origin, Brand Awareness, Brand Personality and Brand Image influence consumer intention significantly to purchase beer Bintang “Radler” in partially. Therefore, Brand Personality is the dominant factor in creating consumer purchase intention. Abstract

Fast Food becomes one of the alternatives of busy urban society regardless the age as they have been overwhelmed with so many activities so that they do not have time to cook by  themselves either at home or at the dorm. All of these are made possible since nowadays there are so many available facilities eating places such as cafe or  food stalls. The existence of cafe and  food stall currently fulfills the needs of  those who want something more instant, easy and complete.  This phenomenon is far different from what happened ten years ago when   daily meals are more likely to be done at home presented by a housewife or those living in a boarding house will have their own cooking.  This research uses descriptive quantitative method to do the appropriate research  in  investigation  a  condition in two ways: interview and questionnaire. This method enables the researcher to  describe in more  a detail  the level of consumption of Brawijaya University students in purchasing food from food stalls and cafes in Malang. At the end, the results obtained in this study are expected to be able to describe the the degree of difference of those consumers who choose to buy food either at the food stall or cafe. Consumers habit of eating food at cafes will later give negative impact for food stalls business owners.   Keywords: consumption behavior, food stall, cafe, and lifestyle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi serta dokumentasi yang dilakukan peneliti pada informan pihak Pemerintah Kota Malang yakni Bagian Kerjasama dan Penanaman Modal Sekretariat Daerah Kota Malang, BAPPEDA Kota Malang dan Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan (DKP).Kota Malang sebagai salah satu kota tujuan wisata dengan berbagai potensi didalamnya memiliki posisi strategis dengan didukung sarana dan prasarana dari segi ruang terbuka hijau yakni taman-taman dan hutan kota beserta fasilitas di dalamnya yang cukup menarik wisatawan karena memperhatikan aspek kebersihan, kenyamanan dengan udara yang sejuk dan rindang. Hal ini sejalan dengan kebijakan dan peraturan tata ruang kota yang diperankan oleh pihak pemerintah kota Malang yakni Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan (DKP) dan didukung pihak swasta melalui danaCooperate Social Responsibility (CSR). Sebagaimanaberdasar pada Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2007 tentang Perseroan Terbatas, Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 47 Tahun 2012 tentang Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan Perseroan Terbatas  Undang-Undang Nomor 25 Tahun 2007 tentang Penanaman Modal, disebutkan bahwa Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) merupakan kewajiban bagi perseroan yang kegiatan usahanya mengelola dan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam ataupun tidak keduanya akan tetapi kegiatan usahanya berdampak pada fungsi kemampuan sumber daya alam.Untuk CSR dari pihak swasta untuk pembangunan di Kota Malang dari segi ruang terbuka publik diwujudkan melalui pembangunan taman dan hutan kota. Sayangnya dibalik pembangunan fisiknya seperti fasilitasyang terdapat di taman dan hutan kota tersebut mencantumkan label ‘brand’ atau identitas perusahaanbersangkutan sekalipun ini bagian dari asset pemkot. Hal dikhawatirkan keberadaan aset pemerintah justru lebih mengedepankan kepentingan pihak swasta yang ‘profit oriented’. Begitu pula dari hasil fisik pembangunan dari CSR kedepannya bisa saja dapat mengurangi kekhasan AREMA di mata masyarakat khususnya, sehingga potensi khusus dari Kota Malang untuk menarik wisatawantersebut  kedepannya justrusuasanadi Kota Malang masih seperti di negara lain karena adanya ide kreatif yang dapat menghilangkan identitas asli budaya masyarakat Kota Malang.Kata kunci: CSR, ruang terbuka hijau, tata ruang kota,,peran DKP, strategi

Abstract

This research aims to determine the variables that influence the production of organic fertilizer and to determine the most dominant variable affecting the production of organic fertilizer. This research is a quantitative research using time series data (2010-2014), which consists of 60 months obtained from PT.Tiara Kurnia. The analytical method used is the method of multiple linear regression analysis of the model modified Cobb-Douglas production function with software tools SPSS version 18.0 were used to determine the effect that occurs between the independent variables on the dependent variable.The results of this research explains that the variables inventories of raw material and consumer demand does not significantly influence the production of organic fertilizer, while the variables capital and the number of working hours significantly influence the same thing. Viewed from the use of several variables on the activities turned out to be the most dominant production is variable capital. Some  suggestions  which  can  be  delivered  based  on  research  results  is  the company should  make  additional  capital,  control  the quality of raw  material, improving the quality of human resources / labor skills through training activities in order to meet its target of organic fertilizer production according to market demand  and   government  support  is  needed  to  improve  organic  fertilizer production in PT.Tiara Kurnia, Malang. Keywords: Organic fertilizers production, capital, number of working hours, inventories of raw material, consumer demand.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the influence of company financial performance and macroeconomic factors on stock returns for Food and Beverages companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange. Population used in this research is 28 companies taken from LSE and 15 companies from IDX. The method used for selecting the samples is purposive sampling method. Based on the method used, this research found 10 companies from each stock exchange that can fulfill the sampling criteria. This research uses four different multiple regression models that each model consists of three company financial performance variables and one macroeconomic factor. The research finding presents a different result between IDX and LSE. In IDX, it is found that GDP is a strong indicator that can influence significantly on stock returns. Meanwhile in LSE, EPS along with current macroeconomic condition have become significant indicators toward stock returns. Keywords: stock returns, company financial performance, macroeconomic factors

Abstract

Bagi masyarakat Indonesia yang mayoritas adalah muslim, produk-produk investasi perlu dicermati kembali karena dikembangkan dari jasa keuangan konvensional yang tidak memperhatikan ajaran agama, selain juga masih mengandung hal-hal yang tidak sejalan dengan ajaran Islam misalnya investasi reksadana pada produk-produk yang diharamkan  dalam Islam. Reksadana Syariah merupakan salah satu alternatif berinvestasi bagi masyarakat yang ingin menginvestasikan dananya pada pasar modal. Perbedaan reksadana syariah dan reksadana konvensional yang paling bisa dilihat  adalah reksadana syariah memiliki kebijaksanaan investasi yang berbasis instrumen investasi pada portofolio yang dikategorikan halal. Dikatakan halal, jika perusahaan yang menerbitkan instrumen investasi tersebut tidak melakukan usaha yang bertentangan dengan prinsip -prinsip Islam. Tidak melakukan riba atau membungakan uang. Saham, obligasi dan sekuritas lainnya yang dikeluarkan bukan perusahaan yang usahanya berhubungan dengan produksi atau penjualan minuman keras, produk mengandung babi, bisnis hiburan berbau maksiat, perjudian, porn ografi, dan sebagainya. Disamping itu, dalam pengelolaan dana reksadana ini tidak mengizinkan penggunaan strategi investasi yang menjurus ke arah spekulasi. Reksadana syariah sendiri sudah mulai menjaadi pilihan berinvestasi  bagi masyarakat di Indonesia yang mayoritas muslim. Terbukti dari Nilai Aktiva Bersih (NAB) reksadana syariah yang terus menungkat signifikan setiap tahunnya mulai dari tahun 2003 sampai 2015 ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel makroekonomi seperti inflasi, suku bunga SBI, dan nilai mata uang rupiah terhadap dollar Amerika terhadap Reksadana syariah. Hasil analisis regresi meu secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja reksadana syariah sedangkan variabel lainnya yaitu suku bunga SBI berpengaruh secara negatif dan variabel Kurs berpengaruh secara positif  Kata kunci : Reksadana syariah, Inflasi, Suku Bunga SBI, Nilai Tukar Rupiah, NAB reksadana Syariah

Abstract

Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditi subsector perkebunan unggulan Indonesia. Pada tahun 2013, nilai ekspor kopi mencapai 1.166.179.900 Dollar Amerika. Negara tujuan ekspor kopi dari Indonesia terbesar adalah Amerika Serikat dengan nilai ekspor kopi sebesar 207.037.600 Dollar Amerika atau sekitar 17% dari nilai ekspor kopi Indonesia secara keseluruhan negara. Besarnya eskpor kopi menuju Amerika membuat penulis melakukan penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volume ekspor kopi Indonesia ke Amerika.Penulis mengambil beberapa faktor yang diduga dapat mempengaruhi volume ekspor kopi Indonesia ke Amerika yaitu harga minyak dunia, nilai tukar, inflasi Amerika dan inflasi Indonesia.Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis linier berganda, dengan beberapa uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesa.Hasil perhitungan regresi secara simultan menunjukan hasil positif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kopi Indonesia ke Amerika. Secara parsial, harga minyak dunia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kopi Indonesia ke Amerika, Nilai tukar tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kopi Indonesia ke Amerika, Inflasi Amerika tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kopi Indonesia ke Amerika, inflasi Indonesia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor kopi Indonesia ke Amerika. Nilai koefisien determinasi pada penelitian ini sebesar 48,9% dan sisanya 51,1% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian ini.Kata Kunci : Volume Ekspor Kopi Indonesia Ke Amerika, Harga Minyak Dunia, Nilai Tukar Rupiah, Inflasi Amerika, Inflasi Indonesia, Ekspor

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of corporate governance in LQ-45 firms listing on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, which can directly affect the performance of the market mediation. This study was based on LQ-45 member categories and also the companies who had been member of the LQ-45 in the period of 2012-2013. Judgment sampling was employed. The data was collected using a tabulation tested for validity and reliability. The analysis is for the path analysis software testing by SMART PLS. the results found that one received significant negative effect direct corporate governance performance of the market. But the second results found that a positive significant indirect effect among implications of further research, the Indonesian Stock Exchange and the FSA (Financial Service Authority) need to be constantly to promote the capital market and a strong need for effective supervision for the sake of making a stable stock market efficiency.Keywords: Corporate Governance, Capital Structure, Market Performance
