Abstract

The role of the Brand is one of the important factor in marketing activities by offering products and services. Brand is not just something that can display the value of its current status, but can also provide a specific value in the hearts or minds of the customer. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of brand image, brand trust, and perceived value againts brand loyalty on customer clinics beauty Nanisa Beauty and Dental Clinic in the town of Sidoarjo. This research uses 140 samples with non-probability sampling methods with purposive sampling technique. Methods of data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 20.00 for windows.The result showed that the brand image of variable (X1) influential variables significantly to brand loyalty (Y) with significant value i.e 0,075. Brand trust (X2) influential variables significantly to brand loyalty (Y) with significantly to brand loyalty (Y)  with significant value i.e 0,000 and preceived value (X3) significant influential variable againts brand loyalty (Y) with significant value i.e 0,011.Keywords: brand image, brand trust, perceived value, brand loyalty

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of the advertising value and brand awareness against the purchase intention products telkomsel at Brawijaya University students good influence directly or indirectly. This research type is explanatory research that explains the causal relationships between variables through hypothesis testing.This research using a sample of as many as 120 respondents drawn from a population of  University  students  of  Brawijaya.  Sampling purposive  sampling  technique  using characteristics of the selected sample i.e., at least 17 years old, and have never made a purchase of product Telkomsel. Testing tool used to test the research instrument in the form of test validity, reliability testing, and test assumptions. Hypothesis testing is done using t- test and test the Sobel test. Data analysis techniques using the analysis of PLS (Partial Least Squares) and test the hypothesis done using t-test using the program Smasrt PLS 3.0. From the results it can be concluded that variable advertising value had a direct influence significantly to brand awareness product of telkomsel. Brand Awareness also has direct influence significantly to Purchase Telkomsel product Intention. As well as variable advertising value has a positive and significant influence towards purchase intention on the product brand awareness with telkomsel as mediation variablesKEYWORDS: Advertising Value, Brand Awareness, Purchase Intention

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dimiliki oleh Vosco Coffee Malang sebagai dasar perumusan analisis lingkungan internal  dan  analisis  lingkungan  eksternal  untuk  menghasilkan  strategi bersaing yang tepat untuk diterapkan oleh Vosco Coffee Malang. Pada penelitian ini digunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi berperan serta. Analisis strategi bersaing dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu tahap input, tahap pencocokan dan tahap keputusan. Tahap input terdiri dari matriks EFE, matriks IFE, analisis Lima Kekuatan Porter, dan matriks CPM yang menjadi input utama. Tahap pencocokan terdiri dari matriks IE dan analisis SWOT yang akan mengkasilkan berbagai alternatif strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan. Tahap keputusan terdiri dari matriks QSPM yang membantu dalam pemilihan alternatif strategi yang cocok untuk kondisi café saat itu.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa café berada pada kondisi yang cukup baik dibanding dengan posisi pesaing yang memiliki karakteristik yang hampir sama. Café diharapkan mampu memanfaatkan peluang dan mengantisipasi ancaman serta mampu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kekuatan serta meminimalisir kelemahan yang dimiliki oleh café. Alternatif strategi yang paling tepat untuk dapat digunakan oleh Vosco Coffee Malang adalah penetrasi pasar dengan dengan memanfaatkan keunggulan kompetitif  berupa  produksi  biji  kopi  sendiri  yang dimiliki  untuk dipasarkan  ke  café pesaing sebagai calon pelanggan potentialKata kunci : strategi bersaing, matriks EFE, matriks IFE, matriks CPM, matriks IE, analisis SWOT, matriks QSPM

Abstract

 The study tries to determine the health level of “Kosayu” Credit Cooperatives during the period of 2014-2016 viewed from its financial and management aspects. This descriptive quantitative research applies a case-study towards “Kosayu” Credit Cooperatives. The data analysis are derived from the Regulation of the Deputy of Supervision of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, Number: 06/Per/ Dep.6/IV/2016 concerning the Guidelines for Health Assessment of the Savings and Loans Cooperatives and the Savings and Loans Unit, which covers seven aspects: capital, productive asset quality, management, efficiency, liquidity, independence and growth, and management.The results of the study show that the health level of “Kosayu” Credit Cooperatives in 2014 was under the category of "Healthy Enough" with the score 69.85, in 2015 "Healthy Enough" with the score 71.35, and in 2016 also "Healthy Enough" with the score 68.90. Although not reaching the maximum score yet, out of the seven aspects assessed, the capital, quality of productive assets, and management aspects achieve the best performance. This is evidenced by the achievement of the maximum score which is higher than other aspects; whereas, the aspects of efficiency, liquidity, awareness and growth, and identity of cooperatives are categorized less good as proven by the number of achievement score which is less than the maximum one.Keywords: Health Level of Cooperative, Cooperative Savings and Loans, Regulation of the Deputy of Supervision, Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 06/Per/Dep.6/IV/2016.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan perhitungan harga pokok produksi dengan metode  full costing. Dan penentuan harga jual  dengan metode  mark-up pricing pada UMKM Zuka Rasa Kabupaten Nganjuk yang memproduksi  produk bawang goreng dan abon lele yang terjadi selama bulan Desember 2016. Penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan sebagai penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga pokok produksi produk bawang goreng menurut metode full costing yaitu Rp20,600/pcs lebih besar dari pada menurut perhitungan perusahaan yaitu seharga Rp 16,574.1 /pcs. Kemudian pada produk abon lele harga pokok produksi menurut metode full costing yaitu seharga Rp8,577/pcs lebih besar dari pada menurut perusahaan yaitu seharga Rp7,322.8/pcs. Sedangkan pada penentuan harga jual produk bawang goreng menurut perusahaan yaitu seharga Rp22,000/pcs lebih kecil dari pada penentuan harga jual menurut  mark-up pricing method yaitu seharga Rp 24,321/pcs. Sedangkan pada penentuan harga jual produk abon lele menurut mark-up pricing method yaitu seharga Rp11,556.9/pcs lebih kecil dari pada penentuan harga jual menurut perusahaan yaitu seharga Rp15,000/pcs. Perusahaan belum memasukan dan membebankan seluruh biaya yang telah dikeluarkan, dengan hal tersebut  menyebabkan perusahaan menderita “Opportunity Loss”. Kedepannya diharapkan perusahaan dapat memperhitungkan harga pokok produksi menggunakan metode full costing, serta penetapan  harga jual produk berdasarkan mark-up pricing method akan lebih akurat.Kata Kunci: Biaya Produksi, Harga Pokok Produksi, Full Costing, Harga Jual, Mark-up Pricing Method.

Abstract

The objective of this research, which was conducted at BPJS Kesehatan Branch of Malang, is to analyze both simultaneous and partial influence of work environment and job stress on the performance of employees of BPJS Kesehatan Branch of Malang. Using quantitative approach, this explanatory research aims to explain the causal relation between independent and dependent variables through hypothesis testing. The population of this research is all 72 employees of BPJS Kesehatan Branch of Malang, who were used also as the respondents. The data of this study were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and literature research. The analytical tools of this study are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, with F test and t test to test the research hypothesis. The result of the F test indicates that work environment and job stress simultaneously affect employee performance. The result of the t test indicates that work environment and job stress partially affect employee performance. Work environment has a positive beta coefficient, which means that improvement in the condition of work environment will increase employee performance. Job stress has a negative beta coefficient, which means that increased job stress will degrade employee performance.Keywords: Work Environment, Job Stress, and Employee Performance.

Abstract

Risk based audit has been gaining importance in recent years. Lately, risk based audit has been consider as an effective method to the business environment that always changing. The objective of this research is to know the implementation of risk based audit in PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, likewise the weakness and strength. Qualitative method was used in this research. Therefore, the guidance in this research is the author's interpretation. Data collection method used in this research are interview and documentation. The implementation of risk based audit  in PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur started with the production of audit  plan, preliminary audit, auditing, and the audit report. The results indicated that risk based audit has been implemented well, although there are some aspects needs to be improved. The weakness of risk based audit is that the audit still depends on the risk management. While the strength of risk based audit is the audit were more focused on the work unit issues.Keywords: risk based audit, auditing, risk management

Abstract

This research is an event study which aimed at finding out empirical evidence related to whether or not the Tax Amnesty 2016 Law Validation affects Indonesia’s capital market. The population in this research was 45 listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange’s stocks classified in LQ45 index. This research used secondary data which were daily stock price, daily trading volume, and the composite index on five days before, one day at the event date, and five days after the event date. Statistical test in this research used one-tailed t-test and paired t-test. There is significant positive abnormal return around the event date which means that the market responds towards the event. There is no significant difference in abnormal return on the pre-event to event date, event date to post-event, and pre-event to post-event period. There is significant difference on the pre-event to event date and event date to post-event period, but not significant on the pre-event to post-event period.Keywords:Event Study, Capital Market, Abnormal Return, Trading Volume Activity

Abstract

This study aims at finding out the relationship between expectation and motivation on tourist attitude towards tourism destination. The expectation and motivation are expected to have an effect on visitor’s satisfaction, happiness, enjoyment, worthiness, and attractiveness. This research used primary data collected using a survey technique from the Museum Angkut visitor. The collected data were processed using path analysis. The findings of this study show that expectation and motivation have a significant influence on the visitor Attitude towards Museum Angkut. Moreover, the result also shows another role of motivation in the relationship between expectation and attitude. Thus, to maintain tourist attitudes towards the tourism destination, motivation and expectation should be considered as one of critical elements. Keywords: Expectation, Motivation, Attitude, Tourist Behavior, Museum Angkut

Abstract

This research primarily aims to investigate the relationship between gender diversity of the board of directors and the financial performance of the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The total population in this study is 147 manufacturing firms, of which, 50 firms are excluded. Hence, the total number of samples used in this research is 97. This research conducts a panel data analysis- fixed effects estimator, to examine the relationship between gender diversity and firm financial performance, using the financial data from 2011-2016 of the manufacturing firms listed on the IDX. The results of this study indicate that the boards of manufacturing firms listed on the IDX are largely dominated by male directors. In addition, the results also show insignificant causal relationship between gender diversity of the board of directors and financial performance of manufacturing firms listed on the IDX. Two main possible reasons for this to occur may include the considerably low representation of women directors on board in manufacturing firm and social adaptation by the women directors that is caused by the peer pressures. As a consequence, their unique characteristics, ways of thinking, behavior, and working styles do not affect the boardroom and firm performance; and the expected advantages of having them on board are never realized.Keywords: board of directors, financial Performance, gender diversity
