Abstract

This study aims at examining the influence of a corporate governance mechanism which consists of transparency, fairness, accountability, and responsibility to the market reaction that is proxied by abnormal return. This study applies variable control on unexpected earnings and total cash flow. Population in this study is a non-financial sector companies listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange in 2010. The selection of samples applies purposive sampling method and sample obtained, is 104 go public companies. This study uses secondary data that is the company's annual report. The results of this study show that the implementation of corporate governance has a significant influence to abnormal returns. This study also presents the fact that variable control total cash flow gives significant influence to abnormal returns. However, this study fails to show that the variable control on unexpected earnings has a significant influence to abnormal returns.   Keyword: Corporate Governance, Abnormal Return, Unexpected Earnings, Total cash Flows

Abstract

The background of this study aims to determine the effect of Integrated Marketing Communications consisting of four dimensions, namely Advertising (X1), Public Relations (X2), Sales Promotions (X3), and Personal Selling (X4) towards Customer Relations (Y) Lets Go Kart Malang. This study used a sample of 100 customer of Lets Go Kart Malang with a specific category, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling. Results of regression showed that integrated marketing communications simultaneously and partially significant influence to the customer relation. Adjusted R2 value of 0.745, which means 74.5% customer relation is influenced by the independent variable examined, while the remaining 25.5% are other variables that were not detected in this research.  Advertising variable (X1) became dominant variable effect on the customer relation. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship of working capital management and profitability company in food and beverage sector listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange. In order to know the relationship occur among the independent variable (Inventory Conversion Period, Days Sales Outstanding, Payable Deferral Period, and Cash Conversion Cycle) on Return on Asset using the regression analysis, F test and t Test was conducted. This research is explanatory research, in accordance with its purpose to explain the correlation and relations of some fixed variables. The sample in this research were the income statement and statement of cash flows data  from Food and Beverage sector listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique is Purposive sampling and the research instruments tested using classical assumption test. The hypothesis testing was using the F and t test to analyze the data to be used in Multiple Regression Analysis. The multiple regression showed that, simultaneously and partially tested Inventory Conversion Period, Days Sales Outstanding, Payable Deferral Period, and Cash Conversion Cycle. Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze of liquidity and profitability for measure financial performance in Coal Mining Services Industries Listed on IDX. This journal uses the financial performance framework and public data from 10 companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange along the year 2007-2011. This study uses the ratio of external comparisons include comparisons with other similar or industry average at the same point and also standard ratio in every kind of financial ratios. The results show that all variables may be expressed normally distributed. There is no difference in the financial performance of coal mining services industries are calculated using the ratio of liquidity and ratio of profitability. The financial performance of coal mining services company that is best for variable CR mean, QR mean, ROI mean and ROA mean is the variable of CR mean evidenced by obtaining the greatest results from coal services than other variables. The results help the company maintain and improve financial situation. Keywords: liquidity, profitability and performance

Abstract

Online Shopping is trending since past few years, providing niche for small retailer. This research is analyzing about  factors influence consumer decision towards online shopping, greatest factor influence consumer decision to shop online and what is consumer primary way of shop, online or visiting brick and mortar. Online shop in this study is specifed to those operated by small retailer that usually using social media as platform  such as KasKus, Facebook, Multiply, and BlackBerry Messenger. There are five factors that influence consumer decision to shop online that used as independent variable in this study, those is convinience, amount of information, price, limitation, and security, and consumer decision as dependent variable. In order to finding influence of independent variables towards dependent variable, research method used in this study is multiple reggression analysis with three clasical assumption test: normalty, multicollinearity, and heteroscedaticity. Method used in gathering data is questionnaire with undergraduate student in Faculty of Economic and Business Brawijaya University who has experienced shopping online before as population and 100 person who fulfill the criteria is choosed as sample (non random sampling). The result of this study is that each element used as independent variable significantly affecting consumer decision (dependent variable) and security is the factor with greatest influence. Conclusion in this study is that consumer decision towards online shopping is affected significantly by convinience, amount of information, price, limitation, and security. Greatest factor that influence consumer decision to shop online is security, second is price, third is convinience, followed by limitations, and lastly consumer also considering amount of information, and visiting brick and mortar store still become consumer primary way of shopping compared by shopping online eventhough all respodent has experienced online shopping before. Abstract

Latar Belakang penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penjualan dari produk Luwak White Koffie di tengah-tengah persaingan yang makin ketat diantara produk kopi instan dalam negeri. Dengan demikian maka tiap-tiap perusahaan harus mampu untuk membuat strategi-strategi dalam melakukan pemasaran. Salah satunya yaitu dengan melakukan Bauran Promosi yang tepat sasaran dan efektif. Untuk mengetahui variabel Bauran Promosi mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian terhadap Luwak White Koffie. Untuk mengetahui variabel terikat mana yang paling dominan terhadap variabel bebas maka dilakukan analisis regresi berganda dengan melakukan  Uji F dan Uji t. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian explanatory research. Sesuai dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh beberapa variable yang sudah ditetapkan. Sample terdiri dari 100 responden, sedangkan teknik sampling menggunakan teknik non probability samplingdengan pertimbangan bahwa jumlah populasi penelitian tidak dapat ditentukan jumlahnya. Dari hasil analisis regresi diketahui bahwa variabel bauran promosi yang berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian Luwak White Koffie terdiri dari variabel periklanan, personal selling, promosi penjualan, public relation. Kemudian variable bauran promosi yang terdiri dari periklanan, personal selling, promosi penjualan, public relation. secara keseluruhan juga berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian Luwak White Koffie Kata Kunci :  Bauran Promosi, Pembelian Luwak White Koffie, Di Kecamatan Singosari  Kabupaten Malang

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the application of models of Sales Territory Management (STM) "Cluster War" on PT. Telkomsel Sub Branch Malang which includes pre-implementation and implementation of STM. This study is expected to provide input for the purposes of education, especially in the field of marketing and can be used as a reference for other researchers who want to examine more deeply. Informants of this study is the SPV and Outlet Sales Operation PT. Telkomsel Sub Branch Malang as a key person, a staff Outlet Sales and Operations, as well as an Outlet Management Reseprentative (OMR). This type of research is descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques using in-depth interviews were guided by observation and documentation. The results illustrate that the sales territory management as a marketing strategy. Meanwhile, as a model of sales territory management (STM) "Cluster War" performed by five steps: mapping, classification outlet, perencnaan journey, kanvassing, periodic evaluation and monitoring which is required to perform in-depth analysis before implementation so that later formed the patterns and models desired. Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim organisasi yang terdiri dari tiga variabel, yaitu : (X1) Perilaku Pemimpin, (X2) Komunikasi, dan (X3) Pengambilan Keputusan terhadap (Y) Motivasi Kerja karyawan pada PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Kandatel Malang. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh variabel terikat (iklim organisasi) terhadap variabel bebas (motivasi kerja karyawan) digunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan metode analisa uji F dan uji t. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian explanatory research karena penelitian ini menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variabel-variabel penelitian melalui pengujian hipotesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 58 karyawan PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Kandatel Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah Simple Random Sampling agar setiap bagian memperoleh kesempatan yang sama untuk dijadikan sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji F, uji t, dan uji variabel dominan. Hasil uji F menunjukkan variabel Perilaku Pemimpin (X1), Komunikasi (X2) dan Pengambilan Keputusan(X3) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan (Y) yang ditunjukkan dengan besarnya Fhitung sebesar 299.436. Sedangkan F tabel dengan derajat bebas (k-1) = 4 - 1 = 3 dan (n - k) = (58 - 4) = 54 diperoleh hasil sebesar 2,78. Karena nilai F hitung yang diperoleh lebih besar dari F tabel (299.436 > 2,78) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil uji t menunjukkan variabel Perilaku Pemimpin (X1) memiliki nilai t hitung sebesar 4,644 (Sig. t = 0,000). Karena t hitung > t tabel (2,599 > 2,0042) atau sig t < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka secara parsial variabel Perilaku Pemimpin (X1) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel motivasi kerja karyawan (Y). Variabel Komunikasi (X2) memiliki nilai t hitung sebesar 3,684 (Sig. t = 0,001). Karena t hitung > t tabel (2,571 > 2,0042) atau sig t < 0,05 (0,001 < 0,05) maka secara parsial variabel komunikasi (X2) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel motivasi kerja karyawan (Y). Variabel Pengambilan Keputusan (X3) memiliki nilai t hitung sebesar 2,236 (Sig. t = 0,029). Karena t hitung > t tabel (2.041 > 2,0042) atau sig t < 0,05 (0,029 < 0,05) maka secara parsial variabel pengambilan keputusan (X3) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel motivasi kerja karyawan (Y). Uji variabel dominan menunjukkan variabel independen yang memiliki nilai koefisien beta yang terbesar adalah variabel Perilaku Pemimpin , yaitu sebesar 0.418. Hal ini berarti bahwa perilaku pemimpin memiliki pengaruh yang dominan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Maka hipotesis ketiga yang menyatakan bahwa variabel komunikasi berpengaruh dominan tidak terbukti.   Kata Kunci : Iklim Organisasi, Perilaku Pemimpin, Komunikasi, Pengambilan Keputusan, Motivasi Kerja Karyawan PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Kandatel Malang

Abstract

Modal merupakan faktor utama penggerak operasional perusahaan dimana lebih dari separuh jumlah aktiva perusahaan adalah aktiva lancar yang merupakan unsur modal kerja. Pengelolaan modal kerja secara efektif dan efisien merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menunjang meningkatan profitabilitas dan menjaga tingkat likuiditas perusahaan. Dalam kondisi normal, likuiditas dan profitabilitas berbanding terbalik. Dimana semakin tinggi profit yang diperoleh oleh suatu perusahaan, makan semakin tidak likuid kemampuan perusahaan tersebut dalam memenuhi kewajiban lancarnya dan sebaliknya. Industri rokok merupakan sektor yang menarik untuk diteliti karena disatu sisi rokok berpengaruh buruk pada kesehatan, akan tetapi pada sisi lainnya, industri rokok adalah penyumbang pajak terbesar bagi indonesia. Agar perusahaan dapat bertahan dan mampu mencapai tujuan perusahaan yang telah ditetapkan maka diperlukan suatu pengelolaan modal kerja, dimana masing-masing pos aktiva lancar yaitu: kas, piutang, dan persediaan harus dikelola dengan baik. Dari latar belakang diatas, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan modal kerja, tingkat likuiditas dan profitabilitas pada perusahaan rokok yang listing di BEI dengann menggunakan rasio-rasio antara lain: rasio lancar, rasio cepat, rasio kas, rasio perputaran persediaan, DSO, rasio perputaran aset tetap, rasio perputaran aset total, GPM, NPM, ROI, ROE, ROWC. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Yaitu menafsirkan data yang ada dengan cara mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan menginterpretasikan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasio likuiditas Industri pada perusahaan rokok yang terdaftar di BEI telah berhasil mencapai standart umum yang mengindikasikan bahwa perusahaan berada dalam keadaan likuid atau mampu memenuhi kewajiban lancarnya. selain itu, dana yang tertanam pada persediaan bahan baku cukup besar, waktu yang diperlukan untuk piutang menjadi kas juga mengalami percepatan pada tiap tahunnya selama masa periode penelitian dan perputaran aset tetap dan aset total industri juga dapat dikatakan mengalami peningkatan. Kemudian untuk tingkat profitabilitas, industri mengalami peningkatan pada tiap tahunnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan industri rokok untuk menghasilkan keuntungan mengalami peningkatan. Secara umum, pengelolaan modal kerja pada Perusahaan rokok yang listing di BEI pada periode 2007 hingga 2010 dapat dikatakan efektif. Abstract

Abstract: Batu city has a proud economic level, it is based on the increase in the amount of local revenue.  Increase could not be separated from the strategy that has been formulated in the Batu city government to attract investors. The aim of this paper is to describe the implementation of the strategy has been formulated. Using qualitative methods, the result shows that the Batu city government officials have implemented a good strategy. But there are still many problems encountered in its implementation, to optimize service to investors about the clarity of the policy, transportation and communications. Government should evaluate the implementation of the strategy that has been done, in order to create a government that is good governance. Keywords: Government strategies, Attract investors
