Abstract

Nowadays, information technology has been highly developed in various fields, one of which is in the employment field. The number of job provider applications that appear on the Android platform is still growing.  For example, the famous job provider applications are jobsDB, JobStreet and LinkedIn. Companies use these applications to ease and simplify the performance of employees in the Human Resource Department. In addition, the use of these job provider applications can save paper usage and reduce cost. The downside of these job provider applications that already exist today is the absence of methods to help both sides between the company and the job seekers to take the necessary decisions. Based on these problems, then the making of a decision support system application for employment candidates) based on Android. The decision produced from AHP will be more specific and has its own weight based on the value of each criterion that are given by the company. The development of this decision support system is preceded by the design and analysis of the recruitment process by the Human Resource in PT TR, PT RM, and PT MS.The end result of the development of this system is in the form of a decision support system application for employment candidates based on Android. The development for this application is using the Ionic framework. Testing is done by asking some of the companies and prospective employee candidates to try out the application.

Abstract

Computer is a widely used device by everyone. Computer is used for many purposes such as: internet browsing, playing video games, music and videos, giving assistance for office works etc. Computer is also equipped with a very large storage system called hard drive. This equipment allows user to store large amount of their own data into the computer. The hard drive is also used for storing downloaded files from the internet. Computer viruses are programs that attacks computer via downloaded file from the internet. The purpose of this thesis’ creation is to help computer users to prevent various virus attacks. This thesis is made using Construct 2 an open source game development software that can be used even without basic programming knowledge. In this thesis there will be 4 types of games based on four types of viruses based on the activities they will do in the computer. With the creation of this thesis computer users can understand better about computer viruses and its prevention methods.

Abstract

Along with increasingly learning methods evolving towards interactive learning, the technologies that supports it are also developed, from the use of computer applications, to the use of mobile devices. One of the technologies that are developed today is the technology of virtual reality. Currently the virtual reality technology can be used easily and with equipment that is easy to find around us. The system is made covering the process of making a virtual zoo for the game world, virtual animals that will fill the zoo, and a player that can be controlled by the user. Game world is a world that will be explored by the user and in this case is a zoo, and inside the zoo there are some virtual wild animals that have a state machines design to regulate the behavior and habits of each animal. This application is made using Google Cardboard Software Development Kit and Unity.Therefore, this thesis conducted by making an application to utilize virtual reality as an interactive and an attractive learning media, to study living wild animals for kids, with not only the theory but also with live demonstrations of the animal world. This application will run on android devices and using Google Cardboard as a medium for virtual reality.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has many historic buildings which are recognized by the world. Some examples of notable historic building is the Temple of Borobudur, prambanan Temple, the Fort remains by Netherlands and Japan, and others. In addition to the large number of historic buildings, there is no dedicated media that truly embody information on historic buildings. Thus, needed a site that could be a medium where people can share information about the historic buildings at once into a medium of communication between users of the site in response to the information. The system has the capability to provide and accommodate existing information and can provide a medium of communication between users. The data on the system is derived from the user and can be accessed by users as well. The site will be controlled by Admin, where Admins on duty to supervise the site.Overall this system can help the user in providing and seeking information about historic building in Indonesia and also can be a medium of communication between users in response to the information.

Abstract

At this time there is no ERP applications specifically tailored to the needs of distribution companies. System in ERP applications that exist today only answers the needs of the company in general. It is important to address the needs of the company's sales distribution module. Distribution companies studied are distributors of crops, fruit distributor, motorcycle dealers, distributors of electronic goods and components distributor panel. From the background of these problems, designed a structured sales module for five companies distributors and dealers. The application is made by using the CodeIgniter PHP programming language and MySQL for the database. Results obtained from these applications include the recording of the master, sales transactions, transaction settlement of debt, transaction delivery, transaction sales returns, reports sales returns, sales reports, report card stock, the report claims, the report card receivables and income statement for five company. This thesis can accommodate the process of selling five companies distributors and dealers who have been determined.

Abstract

School teachers and the parents often say the importance of learning mathematics that can make students / student elementary school (elementary school) can count without a calculator. Although the student / student had been told that, they still think that math is very difficult and not necessary to hold these lessons to any school level. This makes the student / student always assume that things are difficult does not need to exist and refurbished.In making this application is done prior research interest in learning the students / student elementary school in math, so that the expected results can help students' learning motivation / elementary school. Manufacture of their objects more emphasis to entice young children to learn and play. Giving collision feature aims to allow users to switch pages one page to another. The use of smartphones with Android OS (Operating System) aims to facilitate the student / student can play and learn while they are playing smartphone.The results in this application, any object found on each page have made the learning interest of the students / student elementary school is more increased than before. Barriers time of making a major factor, so it can not make every page more detail. Disadvantages of this application, requires specification of the smartphone that is high enough to be able to run applications MathVenture well. This is because the design of each page makes heavy use more memory.

Abstract

The development of video games today have been growing rapidly. The latest technology, allows users to feel like in the virtual world of a video game. Simulation Game is one genre that can teach something to the user. Simulation Games like driving simulator can be used as a training tool before encountering a real condition with real vehicles.This thesis will generate a 3-dimensional application that can simulate practice exams for four-wheeled vehicles. The development of the application is using Unity Engine program with C# programming language. Logitech G27 Steering Wheel is used as the controller.The test results showed that the steering wheel device can generate output in accordance with steering control on the car. In this thesis, the test results indicate that the materials of practice test are made in 3-dimensional view is look alike reality with the practice of the real exam. This application also can be done by  using the device steering wheel to steer the car in a virtual world.

Abstract

Continuing Education Centre is an unit engaged in education services under coordination of Vice Rector Academic Petra Christian University. Continuing Education Centre is qualified for continuing education with variety in their programs. Until now, Continuing Education Centre doesn’t have a system that helps its transaction process so mistakes often made in transaction process. Therefore, in this thesis will be made accounting information system and the estimated expenditure programs, which  help the Continuing Education Centre in processing transactions and records them into useful reports for Continuing Education Centre.The process of making this system starts from analyzing the needs of the company, making the design system using Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relational Diagram. The system is built using the MySQL database and Hypertext Prepocessor (PHP). Scope of the development includes transaction recording, scheduling and estimation, manufacture of Chart of Accounts, manufacture of transaction expenses, as well as the manufacture of journals and reports automatically.  All of these are supported using a VPN server based on Windows 7 OS and website interface.Test result shows the programs are able to assist in processing transactions, forecasting and producing reports which useful for the finance of Continuing Education Centre. According to the questionnaire, it is proven to be able fulfilling the company needs with satisfaction level of 66.66% are pleased and 33.33% are adequate.

Abstract

Administration system in Travel X still using manually all of the business process likely record a reservation in a document. With that condition  make Travel X need more time to get information, generating report and high risk to lost document. Therefore, Travel X needed system to accomodate administration quickly and preciesly. According to the analysis based on Travel X problems, an application to support the Travel X business performance must be made.The application would be implemented to process the passanger reservation, package reservation, online reservation and also generating report. The design of the Data Flow Diagram and the ERD uses Power Designer 16.5 The application will be based on CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL for the database.User satisfaction towards the application’s overall quality is 42% good responds and 28% very good responds which means the application has fulfilled and corresponds to the system requirements. This application can  records process by automate passanger reservation or online reservation.

Abstract

Puzzle Adventure Game is a game that has the form of games exploring a region or a place in which to complete a story on where the player should be able to complete a variety of challenges that are often shaped puzzles and such.This game is made with a reason to teach a variety of moral values are positive through the game, because a lot of games today do not give you the material into his game. This game also comes with a variety of functions such as save game, load game, resolution settings, sound settings, as well as game-style point-and-click. It is intended to be able to make the players comfortable playing. Once created, these games can be played well without any interruption or bugs, and also can be played in almost all computer that has 2GB RAM and above. Thanks to game development using Unity and various assets in it, making the game becomes easier so that the games can be designed in such a way in a very limited time. The time used to make the game is less than 4 month, though the content of the game is not yet perfect but the game successfully run with perfection without bug.
