Abstract

Teaching and learning process are growing over time and technology behind it are growing too so that the process of learning with online media or often referred to as e-learning where provided media that can be accessed via the internet. This phenomenon is interesting to examine because some e-learning systems that exist today are not yet fully secure, in the sense that it is still easy to be disseminated without any copyright and not used wisely. The purpose of this research is to produce an application that can be used as a media for e-learning of streaming audio and video without storing the file on local cache device so that the file residing in e-learning media cannot be disseminated and be used wisely. As a research methodology using deductive qualitative method, data collective process is done by literature study, interview, and observation. After the data collected, will result e-learning software based on website and mobile that can be used to stream media files without downloading it. The result of this test and analyze shown that streaming with RTSP protocol is can be used into e-learning software with a limited users.

Abstract

In modern times, humans have been helped by many technological developments. One such field is the goods delivery field, called the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). Vehicle Routing Problem is a matter of where there is a freight fleet that has to deliver a certain amount of goods to various customers. The solution sought is the shortest route the fleet can take.,Hybrid Ant Colony Optimization (HACO)is an algorithm that is inspired from the foraging behaviour of ant species, that is one of the result of  development for Ant Colony Optimization. HACO has been published by Q. Ding et. al in 2012 to solve Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows. However, in that published journal, there were vagueness in some points like process time and memory usage. Therefore in this journal there is a need to review the performance of HACO to solve VRPTW, which will be done using unity. In this thesis is also discussed some development of HACO which are expected to fix and improve the result of HACO.

Abstract

Handphone or Mobile phone by most people as a mobile phone is the most commonly used communication tool in everyday life. The price offered varies depending on the condition of the phone. Mobile phone can be used without wired network.In the development of this very rapid information system, it is not difficult to solve such problems. One of them with decision-making system. Decision-making system is one way to achieve a certain goal to be achieved. Decision-making system can be done through the process of data collection, and with consideration of determining the decision. In determining this decision required a method to overcome the problem, namely by using the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW).Based on the results of bakers, 60% of respondents rated well in appraisal of apps, 40% of respondents rated very well in assessing the ease of use of the application, 50% of respondents rated good in assessing the completeness of information, 50% of respondents rated good in assessing conformity in needs, 40% respondents rate good in assessing the resulting report, 50% of respondents rate good in assessing the overall application.

Abstract

Nowadays, most people have smartphone which connected to internet. This situation increase people’s demand of information through application. At Petra Christian University there is one of the student organizations that is authorized to publish news about campus environment, namely Student Press GENTA. The Petra Christian University Student Press has two types of products, namely GENTA online and GENTA magazine.During this time, GENTA Online, where as a place of publication news about student activities, which use the media website, still received less attention from its users. While GENTA magazine, the number of print magazines, less covering the entire student. GENTA also has a Research and Development division, which aims to share questionnaires, but is still manual using paper.This GENTA application was created so that GENTA can be accessed more by Petra Christian University’s students and staff and reduce paper use for the questionnaire from GENTA's research and development division. This application is made using Java and PHP programming language, the database used is MySQL, and the library used is Retrofit and Realm. With this application, students and staff of Petra Christian University can more easily access GENTA Online and GENTA magazine.

Abstract

Gold Inn Hotel, located in the city of Sampit, Central Kalimantan, was established on July 27, 2007. Nowadays many new hotels are popping up in the city of Sampit, making the competition in the hospitality business more and more tight. Therefore all hotels are racing to provide the best services in order to become the main choice of potential customers. All Gold Inn Hotel's competitors still use the phone to place orders. Staying guests should use the phone to make all reservations. Frequently, it takes a long time for the guest to place an order. In addition, morning call requests and taxi orders to the airport are often misplaced and not executed because they are still done manually (generally using paper).Mobile Device Application for Guest Services at Gold Inn Hotel, Sampit is aimed to assist hotel guests in making reservations, so as to improve services at Gold Inn Hotel.

Abstract

Countries in the world certainly face crime problems, including Indonesia. With the high level of crime in Indonesia, we cannot fully rely on the police.Based on a survey by a marketing firm called Waiwai Marketing, Indonesia is noted as a country in the Southeast Asia with most Android users. The total is 41 million users. This motivates the development of an Android-based application for reporting and anticipating crime incidents. The application is created using Java, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL database, and Bootstrap.The application gives icons on the map according to location of incident and crime category, gives notifications to users within a certain radius from crime location, allows users to comment on crime events that have been uploaded to the system, and allows the system admin to combine the same news reported by users.

Abstract

HIMA or Himpunan Mahasiswa is a student union on the department’s level in a university. HIMAINFRA is the Student Union of the Department of Informatics and Business Information System of Petra Christian University. HIMAINFRA aims to address the needs of all students of the Department of Informatics and Business Information System of Petra Christian University in academic and non academic matters. One of the services of HIMAINFRA is to distribute announcements and upcoming events to the students.Nowadays, HIMAINFRA uses posters and social media, such as LINE and Instagram, to distribute the announcements and information to the students. However, due to some limitations on the social media, not all announcements and information from HIMAINFRA can be received by the students. Besides that, to register as an event participant or an event committee, the student still need to do it manually (i.e., paper-based).This Android-based HIMAINFRA application was developed to help HIMAINFRA distribute the announcements and information. This application also helps HIMAINFRA’s members on running a committee and enables the students of the Department of Informatics and Business Information System to register online as event participants or committees. This application leverages on Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Abstract

There are many disturbance that may occur during the learning process, both internal and external disturbances. Internal disturbance that may occur is the inactivity of a microphone or speakers in the classroom, the phone that accidentally sounds from students or lecturers also become an internal disturbance that may occur. On the other hand, external disturbances that may occur in the classroom are noise or out-of-class activities or there is a vehicle noise disturbing the tranquility. Another problem is when students are left behind in material explanations. Many students are also reluctant to re-ask the lesson that is left to the teacher who then even ask his own friends rather than the lecturers, thus disrupting the concentration of other students.To resolve the issue, an application that replicates the SmartHear application is created. This application can help lecturers and students to improve the quality of understanding during the learning process. The SmartHear app can also help students to record ongoing streaming sessions.Testing is done by trying various Android devices to deliver streaming and receive streaming results. Each android device with the API above 19 already meets the standards in order to run the application but there are other factors such as the size of random access memory (RAM) and the type of processor. This application is also created with a version that will process voice input with generalized maximum a posteriori spectral amplitude (GMAPA) algorithm, but this algorithm can not be processed properly in Android devices due to the lack of computing capabilities that can be done in android devices.

Abstract

PT. Asri Indah adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi bahan bangunan gypsum. Setiap lis gypsum yang diproduksi memiliki jenis dan ukuran yang berbeda sehingga mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan harga pokok produksinya (HPP). Pada bagian produksi juga memiliki masalah yaitu seringnya terjadi kesalahan dalam pertukaran data yang berujung pada miskomunikasi antara produksi dan gudang bahan baku dan kesalahan dalam penjadwalan produksi. Pembuatan laporan yang dibutuhkan perusahaan juga masih dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan masalah yang dipaparkan di atas, maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi (SI) yang mampu mengolah data-data dari proses produksi menjadi informasi berupa penentuan harga pokok produksi, penjadwalan produksi dan laporan yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan PT. Asri Indah Surabaya.Sistem ini akan dibuat berbasis website menggunakan bahasa pemrograman HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX serta menggunakan database MySQL. Sistem Informasi akan dibagi menjadi 5 hak akses yaitu Admin, Produksi, Gudang Bahan Baku, Gudang Barang Jadi, dan Pimpinan. Masing- Masing hak akses akan memiliki fitur sesuai kebutuhannya.Realisasi sistem ini menyimpulkan bahwa harga pokok produksi pada PT. Asri Indah dapat terhitung secara otomatis dan sudah terbukti melalui perbandingan pehitungan manual dan sistem, penjadwalan produksi secara FIFO dapat dilakukan secara otomatis, laporan yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan dapat terpenuhi, sehingga mempermudah perusahaan dalam melihat informasi produksi. dan berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang dibagikan, untuk tampilan aplikasi 80% responden memberi nilai baik dan 20% responden memberi nilai sangat baik, untuk kemudahan memahami aplikasi 60% responden memberi nilai baik, 20% responden memberi nilai sangat baik dan 20% responden memberi nilai cukup, untuk menjawab kebutuhan 100%  responden memberi nilai baik, dan untuk keseluruhan aplikasi 100% responden memberi nilai baik.

Abstract

Server room is room which is store server, networking hardware, etc. A server room must have standard security which is can protect devices like temperature of server room, humidity server room, fire, access to the entry of people who are considered less responsible.Lack of control and monitoring of room temperature and humidity are common. This is due to lack of supervision or control of the staff or admin of the server room. If the temperature and humidity of the server room is uncontrolled then hardware inside the room can be broke or the performance of the server devices can be decrease. Often the security of the server room from the reach of less responsible people is also under-scrutiny. So sometimes there are people who can enter into the server room without knowing the intent and its purpose.The solution to this problem is to use a room monitoring application, which can be used to control and monitor temperature and humidity in the server room, so that the temperature and humidity of the server room can be maintained. This app can also prevent unauthenticated people from entering the server room.
