Abstract

Along with the development of the number of motorcycle that are growing very fast and also the development of information and communication technology which is also high has brought benefits to the development of human civilization progress in the world and in Indonesia, especially smartphone, but problems related to crime, especially against motorcycle theft can also be said to be very high, so it is necessary to design a security system on motorcycle with Android and Arduino that can be commanded by voice.The system is created using an Android smartphone as a voice command input receiver and Arduino as a tool that controls hardware based on commands. This system will send voice commands from Android that have been converted into text with the speech to text method and send commands according to the command input via a message that sent via SMSManager to the SIM800L V2.0 module that installed on the Arduino Uno. Message received on the SIM800L V2.0 module will be processed by Arduino Uno, so that Arduino Uno can control each module installed, such as the buzzer, the GPS (Global Positioning System) module, and the relay as a controller of the security system, contact system, and starter system on motorcycle.Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it shows that this system can work properly to control motorcycle with Android and Arduino in providing a security system for motorcycle which is also equipped with a location feature to determine the location of the vehicle.

Abstract

Crime is a form of violation of the law, which always exists in society. Crime, crime, high unemployment rate that can lead to criminal action. For example, during the pandemic, there were several crimes committed, of course, for each city, it was different, Mojokerto City had a lot of criminal acts of drug use. Not only do criminal acts occur, non-criminal acts also occur, such as accidents, fires, etc. Based on the criminal and non-criminal problems that occur in society, it must have a media for reporting against criminals and non-criminals directly and quickly and can handling when many criminals are reported. So this program uses the Haversine method to see the shortest distance so that the shortest route can be created, and the Multiple Criteria Utility Assessment method to get a score for handling reporting at the same time. With this method, the reporter can see the shortest route and the estimated time between the user and the police, as well as the application with the next method when there are many reports. Then admin sees the existing weight so that he immediately takes care to reduce unwanted things.

Abstract

Chicken raising is one activity that is still widely carried out by people who want to do business in the field of chicken farming, especially in Indonesia because the average human consumes chicken meat almost every day. Broiler breeders in Indonesia generally use the type of open cages and still use manual methods in the process of raising livestock such as in regulating the temperature of chicken coops. To help and support farmers in the field of maintenance, temperature and humidity regulators are made in the broiler chicken coop automaticallyChicken coops installed system Arduino WeMos D1 R2 and sensors DHT 22 which will show the current temperature and humidity figures and data obtained from the sensor will be sent with WiFi connectivity contained in the microcontroller to the database. This communication will trigger data exchange in real-time between the website and the chicken coop.Based on the results of tests that have been done, the DHT 22 sensor is able to read the situation in the chicken coop by staying in the user's point settings. Users can set point on the website as needed. Websites and devices can be integrated into a WiFi network and store in a database.

Abstract

Research on biometrics recognition has become popular in the last two decades. Electrocardiogram signal is one among many data that can be used in biometrics recognition purposes. It is unique for each individual, easy to obtain, and hard to forge made electrocardiogram well suited for biometrics recognition. In this research, an identifier will be made using the electrocardiogram signal of each individual.In this research, non-fiducial approach on MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database from physionet with Artificial Neural Network as classifier was used. Non-sequential classifier offers lower computational complexity compared to sequential classifiers. Non-fiducial approach does not require feature extraction but a method of truncating the signal to each heartbeat is still required. Artificial Neural Network method uses neuron on each layer to classify digitalized electrocardiogram signal data.Experiment result using our method achieved 98.886% accuracy using MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database. This research demonstrates Artificial Neural Network method capability as non-sequential classifier to identify electrocardiogram with non-fiducial approach.

Abstract

Thesis is a task given by the university to students as a final assessment of the learning process that has been taken for several semesters. After completing the thesis, students submit their research results to the campus as a thesis collection. At Petra Christian University, every thesis collected is given a subject as the thesis category. However, giving this subject is still manual, so we need a system that can help determine the subject of the thesis.The system that is equipped with text mining features will help the library in determining the subject of the thesis. The steps taken are preprocessing consisting of punctual removal, stopword removal, and stemming. Then the process of extracting text data into numbers using TF-IDF. Furthermore, the data will be trained using the Support Vector Machine method which will produce a model and be used to predict subjects from input text. The trained data is the title data and abstract of the existing thesis.. The results of the research conducted showed that in the construction of the SVM classification model the parameters TF-IDF max_df 1, n-gram (1,2), smooth_idf and sublinear_tf true, linear SVM kernel with C 100 for the thesis title and max_df 0.25, n-gram (1,1), smooth_idf and sublinear_tf false, rbf SVM kernel with C 100 and gamma 0.01 for the thesis abstract. Both the title and abstract of the thesis require preprocessing, resample, and l2 normalization.

Abstract

On this era, motor vehicles already help people on daily basis, helping people to deliver goods, or transporting people. But on the way, there is a disaster waiting, either accidents on other vehicles or other accidents. Therefore, in this thesis will develop an application for DVR based on Android, equipped with additional features, such as GPS, Speedometer, and Live Streaming. In this application, users are able to record and take pictures with location and description about the videos and photos they take. Furthermore, live streaming feature added to help other users to join live streaming just entering channel name. Live streaming library helped by Agora Video Broadcasting library. The tests were carried out by adding applications to different smartphone devices

Abstract

Dogs are raised by many people however, to maintain a dog, there are several factors that must be considered such as feed consumed, intensity of care, and cleanliness of the cage or the appropriate environment. Therefore, an android application is needed to identify the type of dog and provide information related to the type of dog. The method we used is You Only Look Once to detect dog objects in an image then the dog image is cropped, the results will be processed by the Convolutional Neural Network to identify the type of dog based on the image given after that displaying the results of its identification on android. The test results show that the identification results from CNN are very dependent on the results of predictions from YOLO because the input from CNN is the result of predictions from YOLO. YOLO has a disadvantage where it will detect dog dolls and dog fur as dog objects. The test results show the accuracy of YOLO to detect dogs is 94.242%, CNN accuracy of model I is 56.400%, accuracy of CNN model II is 40,000% and accuracy of CNN model III is 50.400%.

Abstract

Phishing sites could become a threat, which retrieves personal information without the user knowing this action. Every site has numerous records, which will be converted to features. Not all features extracted are relevant. Feature selection becomes the main topic of this case. This research uses Genetic Algorithm, using Ensemble Learning as fitness function. This process requires a lot of time, parallelization then used to improve the execution time of the system. The results show that with feature selection, an improvement could be obtained. Parallelization also helps improving execution time up to 2 times faster. Using this system, it is possible to improve the effectiveness of phishing detection.

Abstract

At this moment, Event Organizer Creatrix Organizer records its items manually. Creatrix Organizer have not used structural system to record the items yet. Creatrix Organizer always having trouble to find the item for small scale event. The small-scale events does not require all the items from the warehouse and take time to find the items needed for the event. This situation will result in a delayed process. The customer will not be satisfied because the work is not optimal. Based on the Creatrix Organizer problem, the authors design a system that can record and count items automatically using Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Not only tool, but also a website using CodeIgniter Framework and smartphone application using Ionic Framework for worker to make their job easier to find the needed items for the event. The database used for the applications is MySQL.The results of the applications are, they can record and count the items automatically using UHF Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Furthermore, they can record and search the items that available in the website. Smartphone application is used for searching the items that available to use.

Abstract

Petra Christian University Informatics Study Program is one of the educational institutions which one of the activities to carry out an inventory of items which includes submission, purchase, recording, and distribution / delivery of items both for the purposes of supporting teaching and learning activities and for the needs of employees in carrying out their work in serving students and lecturers, and its reporting. So far there has not been an inventory system, especially in laboratories used by Informatics Study Programs. The data collection and reporting process is still done manually which requires a long time in completing each work. Errors sometimes occur in the calculation and recording of items. Items are often moved so that they forget where they are. Seeing the problems that occur, then made a computerized inventory system to simplify and speed up the data collection process, and the process of reporting inventoryThe software developed is a web-based inventory system. This system is also adjusted to the results of the analysis of the existing system with several additional features to adjust the needs of the laboratory. The web system was developed using the serveride PHP programming language as well as several supporting libraries such as clientide css, javascript in the form of bootstrap, datatables, and jQuery.The final results of software development include the movement of items that occur in laboratories, such as input data of items, lending, returning and moving items.
