Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing very rapidly. One of which is how to use messenger application on mobile device. Nowadays, messenger is one of the applications that are used to communicate by most people. This thesis aims to create a messenger application that can communicate between mobile devices especially devices with the Android operating system.In the design and implementation of this application, there is a server side comprising: Openfire server that serves as a protocol in the exchange of messages and the Apache server that serves to accommodate the user data. As well as the client side comprising: user interface display applications. This application provides features such as login, registration, chat, create groups and invite friends or group.From the results of tests on various Android devices with different versions and brands like LG G4 , LG G2 , Samsung Galaxy S2 ,Sony Xperia SP and  Sony Xperia Z3 Compact the application run well on all devices. But for the view, the position of the layout as TextView , ImageView , videoview and also listview do not go well because of using density pixel (DP) so the size of each display device which has different pixel per inch (PPI)  will show different results.In addition on the device Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1.2 version  popup menu button located on the menu friends is not found.

Abstract

Healthiness is one of great treasure for human. we all love and seek healthiness. but sometimes we have no power against illness, we have no money for all the medical treatment. one of the way to cure illness is through alternative treatment.This application will show an alternative treatment with a tutorial to consume japanese ant with measure table for some illness, and a tutorial to raise japanese ant. There is also mini game to relieve your boredom.From many testimonies by friends and family, japanese ant can really cure some illness. This method can be used for people who don’t have enough money to afford medical treatment.

Abstract

Vocabulary and grammar learning at junior highschool are the most important fundamental to improve student’s ability to understand English. Mastering vocabulary and grammar can make the students better and more fluent in speaking English. With the use of learning media, vocabulary and grammar learning for students will be more interesting and student’s results of learning will be increased.This learning website features various type of practices like drag and drop, swap words in sentence, match words and pictures and sound. Using the 2006 curriculum based course and with the source of 7th grade Junior Highschool teacher, this learning website is adjusted to the needs of 7th grade Junior Highschool students. Making of this website is using the PHP, HTML5 language and using the Facebook API to make the students easier to share their test results.Berdasarkan kuesioner yang di bagikan, desain tampilan serta bentuk latihan soal aplikasi ini dinilai sangat menarik, tetapi materi yang diberikan belum dipahami secara baik oleh siswa.The results obtained from the application that has been made are the design and features of this application can run well on several browser. Grammar and vocabulary practices feature on this application are easy to access and understand by the user. Based on questionnaires, the design and practices of this application is considered very interesting, but the provided courses has not been well understood by the students.

Abstract

Cake grocery store in Denpasar is a business which sells ingredients and tools for baking such as eggs, flour, sugar, butter, baking, oven, and so on. In running the business, mostly grocery stores depend on human to control the business progress. It frequently causes human error risks. Besides, manual system is still used to create the report.Based on the explained backgrounds above, accounting information system has been designed to computerize business process and improve business process control in cake grocery store in Denpasar. That system was build using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and MySQL as database. The result obtained that the system is successfully used to collect master records for suppliers, item categories, item and COA, and general ledger. Moreover, the records of transactions, e.g. purchase and sales, as well as the financial statements, e.g. income statement, balance sheet, statement of owner’s equity, purchase report, sales report, and balance sheet.Overall the application in accordance with cake grocery store in Denpasar requirements. From the results of questionnaires conducted that 100% of users agree that the design of the program is good, the completeness of the information needed is good, 60% of users agree that the accuracy of the information and data is good, 80% of users agree about the benefits of the application is good.

Abstract

Survey process in the field needs surveyor to writedown data manually on a paper. Manual data recording process will later be repeated to save it in the computer for a digital data. This process increases the possibility to have an error in the data input step from a handwritten data. Furthermore, there is a need to turn the survey data into a processed data for a decision making purpose by the survey administrator.Android is chosen as the mobile device platform in this thesis, because it is the most used platform in smartphones. Also, it answers the need of a surveyor in the field to easily carry the survey data. Server application uses Node.js framework to minimalize data process between platforms.There are two applications as the result, which are administrator web application and surveyor Android-based application. Web application is for creating, viewing, changing, deleting, and processing question and survey result data. Android-based application is to be used by specific surveyor in the field for answering many kinds of question types that is created in the web application.

Abstract

The training process is the most important thing to recognize something, because without the process training, it’s impossible to recognize something with what datas you have. The training process of Javanese letter has its own difficulty level for collecting the extraction feature datas that can be used for training process and it took a long time to do the training process. In this paper developed an application that can make the process training to recognize of Javanese Letter with the extration feature datas.The process is carried out as follows: image that has been previously segmented, then extract the feature datas and used it as input to begin the training process with  Elman Type. The Inputs are 88 atribute from data extraction features, that is the result of extraction features based on area-based theory from a picture of Javanese letter.  The result of the training process are some datas,  bias, weight datas, when the data is deemed to able produce good output, then it can be used for recognize the Javanese letter from the other source extraction feature datas . The output is some datas, like bias, weight, and Java letter recognition results stored in file.txt. This application is made to the programming language C # with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 as the IDE.The results show that javanese letter recognition accuracy by using Elman reach 85.16 % .

Abstract

Many people are eager to learn more about the world of farming, not just knowing the name and shape of the animal. However, not everyone can travel to the farm to learn about the life cycle of the animal. One way that can be used to provide a learning experience about the life cycle of living beings in the fastest way is through a game. One of the game’s genres that can be used to provide entertainment and educational aspects to the players is a life simulation. As a life simulation game, the data used is from the real studies of sheep. To give a more realistic situation, this game has a fuzzy state machine to determine the behavior shown by the animals when being approached by the opposite sex.By creating the simulation of sheep with three-dimensional interface, the player will enjoy the gaming experience more similar to the real world. This will give more pleasure to the player. This game was made using the Unity Engine and scripting using C # with MonoDevelop. From the test results, the majority of sheep AI performance is partly influenced by changes in the inputs necessary for the calculation of fuzzy and largely influenced by the interaction of the player in the game.

Abstract

Toko Sumber Mulia is a commercial enterprise engaged in the sale of daily necessities (groceries) located at Jl. Iskandar Pertokoan Blok 10 no.2 Sampit - Central Kalimantan. The trading business requires administrative information systems that can be expected to process administrative records and stock will be easier to do and can saving time. The use of the web on the information system to function so that the owner can control the shop with ease even though you are not in the store by using a personal computer.This application is made by using PHP and MySQL Server as the database storage system. The method used in the calculation of cost of sales is by using the FIFO (First In First Out).From the results of testing of applications, indicates that the application can process data directly related to the process of buying and selling automatically. Sales report, purchase report, stock reports and income statement can be done quickly.

Abstract

Indonesian has now become more popular internationally, for example, Vietnam used Indonesian Bahasa as their second language. There are several ways to helping people to learn Indonesian Bahasa, one of them is by creating a tool that allows them to determine whether the language the are currently learning is true or not. This thesis discusses the application of Indonesian editor with spell checker and diction recommendation features in IndonesianThe process is carried out as follows: users opens a file or typing in the editor, words input will be checked with Apache Lucene, and Lucene will crawling to all of the data and give the recommendation base on the weight (Leveinsthein Algorithm) and if a user opens a file, the application will perform spell checking using Nazief and Adriani algoritm. The result of this process is the result of input that is underlined words that is not in accordance with Indonesian, or suitable recommendation result by Apache Lucene. Input could be words or .doc file. As Output will be written in .doc file and the spell checking results and words recommendation will be shown in editor as the user types. This application is built using Java programming language and Android Studio as the IDE.The test result shows that the accuracy of the Nazief and Adriani Algorthms still need to be improved, word length and word complexity also affects the time in the checking process, for example: to check documents with 100 words, there are various of time from 1.48 minutes to 3.3 minutes. Besides that, this algoritm can not check the word which had 2 syllables, like “pertanggungjawaban” because of the stemming process.

Abstract

Majapahit empire has so many heritages. Many heritages have different locations. Therefore it could make more difficult to learning about majapahit empire. One way to admire or learn about majapahit empire’s heritages is through  a virtual website.This website will resemble most of majapahit empire’s heritages that located in different location into one location. Artefacts will be create more interesting, where the visitors can view 3 dimension object of some artefacts. This website created using some libraries, Xampp and Notepad++.             The interface that this website use is easily understand, and user friendly. All Functions that provided also help visitors to understand more about majapahit empire.
