Abstract

Bali is an island which always be a tourist destination, both local tourists and foreign tourists. It makes the property entrepreneur compete to build the functional and aesthetic architecture interior, start from nature tourism, culinary tourism, up to shopping tourism. Many attractions in Bali make the most of Bali’s population choose livelihoods related to the world of tourism. For the people of Indonesia and overseas, saturated daily routines at their origin place make them yearn to relax and restore the bodys vitality. It makes the fitness center and body treatments like spa is many emerging, such as Sanctuary Spa & Relaxation Centre in Surabaya.                In this era, woman spa design development grows rapidly including in Bali. But, in the midst of these developments, there are many spa places encountered by incorporating elements of foreign culture and use imported products. It makes local culture and domestic products are less widely known. Therefore is necessary a new spa design like Sanctuary Spa & Relaxation Centre in Bali so the local culture and domestic products can be applied and be able to compete in the global marketplace.

Abstract

The emergence of theater community and  arts institution in Indonesia proved that the development of the art of drama/theater is growing. The community is able to deliver good performances, mature and  both visually. This research to determine the set of stage elements that are applied to the staging platform "Bunga Rumah Makan" and "Operasi" uses descriptive qualitative method with an empirical approach (Moleong, 2007, p11). The research object is Scenery Realist Theater performances on building Sawunggaling. With field studies, collecting data library research, interviews and questionnaires in 2 cases realist theater in Sawunggaling Shows Building, State University of Surabaya.     This analysis technique used for this study conducted randomly or random sample. (Arikunto, 1983, p.93). Determination of sampling, giving questionnaires to a random audience with a number of 30 pieces each staging.The result showed, that 2 scenery realist theater at the stage University of Surabaya included in either category, it appears from the appreciation of the audience were positive and scenery standards that apply.Scenery realist theater can besaid to be ideal.Conclusions on the analysis of a set of elements of this stage is skeneri on both the interior staging interesting, balanced, unified and attractive design. Obtained lighting gives the impression of a warm, comfortable, energetic and intimate. While supplies (interior elements and aesthetic elements) forming an interior composition skeneri good, so it feels unity with the surrounding atmosphere.

Abstract

Dessert is an closing food that having a trend and more developing not only at restaurant or café. This Dessert Café and Cake Shop is a place to enjoy the dish like dessert at all once recreation facilities to take down the saturation where customers can enjoy an education by practicing dessert decoration. This design is all soriety addressed.  This café using counter service system that have a purpose to give fast service and indirect education  by applicating transparency between kitchen area and  food uptake counter. At Cake Shop, product which on sale like cake with whole size where customers can do purchase that served by waiter.                    With concept of Taste in Pleasant, this interior design of dessert café and cake shop be focused in order to customers enjoy dessert with pleasant atmosphere in relaxing at café area along with do practicing decoration appropriate taste and creativity every individual. To edvocating concept, this café design applying modern contemporary style that have an simple and clean character but unique.

Abstract

Pluralism community in Surabaya is vulnerable can make a difference, and therefore constituted of a sport football is most popular sport for all people created a Fan Zone at the base of a famous soccer team in the world, Real Madrid.                The interior design goal is to provide a forum for people of Surabaya in general and football in particular who like to get a public facility that is open to everyone and to feel comfortable with and who can support the unity between people of very high levels of pluralism. Interior design according to the characteristics of Real Madrid, but it still shows the impression of openness and diversity of the application layout and materials and the atmosphere is presented.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the style of design information and applied scientific of Vintage style on interior of the cafe in Surabaya object as an object of research and publications. The method used is descriptive qualitative triangulation techniques supported by collecting multiple sources of scientific and popular literature to find a sense of style Vintage design. The results of this study found scientific sense style Vintage design and applied of Vintage style to  interior cafe in Surabaya, then publishes reportage Vintage style cafe interior with popular books and mini movies as a means of education and information regarding the style Vintage design and applied to the interior of the cafe in Surabaya.

Abstract

Culture is a thing that has become the legacy of our ancestors. In each area must have different cultures, including in East Java. One area is in East Java that has a specific culture is the result of Malang legacy shaped mask. Appreciation of art and culture itself will be more easily understood by the students dance. In the sense of learning to dance will be more beautiful when its done in the environment based arts and cultural nuances. With the interior design in the traditional arena dance studio is expected to be a decoy loves Amy more traditional dance heritage and culture will be a learning place for domestic and foreign tourists.

Abstract

Ship is the oldest transportation tools in the world. Compared to others transportation tools ships need the longest time to get to their destination. Because this reason by the time ship is completed with others function, such as recreation facilities. When the passengers are on the sea they need facilities that can accommodate their needs. Concept for this ship’s design is Inforgettable. This concept concern on giving the passengers unforgettable trip. This concept is presented with Papua culture theme. So it can introduce Indonesian traditional culture which isn’t well known. Combine the Papua culture theme and presented in modern way make post-modern stlye.

Abstract

Restaurant is one alternative place that aims to meet the primary needs of human beings which is eating. Nowadays, eating is no longer just a necessity but also as a hobby so that the term "culinary tourism". Educational Resto Chinese cuisine comes to fulfill the wishes of the people. In addition to providing a new culinary experience also gives a brief insight about Chinese cuisine. Existing facilities at the educational resto is receptionis, waiting room, open kitchen area where visitors can interact directly with the other chefs, cooking class that teaches how to cook good Chinese cuisine and VIP room that provides facilities called Private Dining Experience. According to the type of cuisine that served, the restaurant is embracing the concept of symmetry, which is one characteristic of the Chinese style.

Abstract

Interior Design Indonesian Gallery of  Kebaya in Surabaya , it’s purpose  is to facilitate the public. The gallery where there is a museum that promotes the historical value of kebaya from time to time. It also provides public area likes, restaurant / café, to enhance the comfort of visitors. This gallery itself was designed theme with the concept called “Complexity” which is describe the difficulty and the beauty of  kebaya and re-live in this modern era. Spiral has been modified more simple become circle form., and apllied in layout, furniture, even elements in interior.

Abstract

Children are most valuable assets for the future of a nation. Therefore, the golden age of their development should not be abandoned. One of the ways to develop the children’s golden age is through Early Childhood Education which curriculum  focuses on  arranging and equipping classroom. The early childhood education interior design in Samarinda also introduces Dayak Kenyah culture to children so they can learn to preserve their local culture. By the implementation of central system, children are able to develop their talent and interest other than the academic.The methodology of the design starts from the method of gathering data containing data on field, literature data, and tipology data. The next step is observation through interview and study observation on similar object and finally analysis methodology like programming to the final design. By that process, the interior design refers to the variety of Dayak Kenyah Culture reflected on lamin, Dayak tribe long house.The dances culture becomes a theme for every central in order to have different atmosphere and form, starting from door decoration, furniture’s shape, and also materials adjusted with its central. Dayak tribe is closely associated with nature so the materials mostly used are wood texture. In order to make modern element, some parts of the wall use glasses, the floor combines tile and mosaic. The mosaic uses primary colours that can be found in Dayak Ornament to fit for the children. The application of Dayak Kenyah culture forms to this interior can stimulate the art and culture creativity on the children golden age.
