<![CDATA[Research studies is about the application of vintage style in some cafe in Surabaya aims to determine the application of vintage design styles contained in the interior of the cafe Carpentier Kitchen , Canary Cafe , Daily Sweet Cafe , and Stilroad Cafe . Research studies of vintage style design will be carried out in Surabaya with a case study that some cafe in Surabaya that meets the criteria of vintage design styles , including the Carpentier Kitchen , Canary Cafe , Daily Sweet Cafe , and Stilroad Cafe . The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method . Since the purpose of the study was to determine the application of modern design vintage style cafe on the interior of each of which became a case study research . In collecting the data necessary literature studies , interviews , and direct observation to study the object . After the data is collected then proceed with data analysis methods and conclusions drawn in the end. The results of the three studies that cafe be classified as a case study category cafe vintage. ]]>

<![CDATA[Chinese people is the most immigrants around the world compared to the others. Although they lived with so many people around the world, they kept do their tradition with respect to their anchestor. Surabaya known as coastal settlements so that a lot of immigrants will come, include Chinese people. One of the Chinese tradition is Anchestor Worship. Chinese people who do this tradition usually has a anchestor worshipâs altar in their house. Anchestor worshipâs altar has a big influence in organization of space, because it has a lot of rules to organize. This research use the qualitatif method which is descriptive in character. The result of this research show that a lot of difference between the literature and the fact, that achestor worshipâs altar didnât give influence to chinese house anymore. It can because of so many factor, such as environmental condition or chinese people who forget their tradition.]]>

Museum is a public place so that the necessary interior educative and informative and can be used as a sports-themed Indonesian films. The purpose of designing the interior of the film museum in Surabaya this is a venue to preserve Indonesian films and give knowledge to the people of Surabaya on the world of cinema and introduce the films made in Indonesia that Indonesian people not only know the movies made outside but also love movies made in the nation so that they can stimulate people to develop the quality of films and film technology in the world that continues to grow, so that Indonesia is not always left behind in the field of cinema. <![CDATA[St. Paul Catholic Church is one of the Catholic Churches in Surabaya. This church located on the complex of Navy Juanda, on Juanda-Waru street. Trinity is one of the main doctrine in Catholic : the God in three persons : Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In this design work, writer makes a new interior design for this church which supposed to give an illustration about Catholicâ doctrine : The Trinity. The interior that based on doctrine means that the design will reflect the presents of God Trinity, direct or indirect - through the churchâs interior. So this design can introducing the Catholic doctrine to society, specially to give comprehension for the Catholic people.]]>

<![CDATA[Elderly house is a building that functioned as a shelter for the elderly man was being treated, cared for and given more attention. Numbers of elderly who do not consider the functional aspects and comfort make the elderly are reluctant to stay in elderly house. The purpose of this scheme is to provide seniors with atmosphere and design of the natural environment, safe, back to nature for the elderly and provide full facilities to serve the needs of the elderly. The concept of this design is applied to the familiarity of the layout, organization of space and furniture and adjacent groups. In addition, the combination of colors and materials also supports the concept of familiarity on St.Yosef elderly house. In St. Yosef between public spaces interconnected set, used together, and open to one another, this interior design benefits the elderly is to provide a means for the elderly where they can socialize with comfortable quarters feel feel like home.]]>

<![CDATA[Museum is a place that is used as a means of non-formal education and where preservation and recreation. Today, the museum has a problem on the level of security and reduced the number of visitors. Museum of East Nusa Tenggara is one museum that minimal level of security. The museum does not have a local image of the local area on the interior of the building. In addition the museum also less attractive to visitors. That requires re-design on the inside of the building so that the museum can fulfill a recreational values, informative, and educational preserfatif. Re-design is also expected to answer the security issues and presents the image in the local museum. The concept will be applied to the museum is a Journey to the East. This concept will be applied to each element of space and furniture. On the ceiling will be created artificial ceiling that feels like in the wild, then the material used on the floor is natural stone materials are sourced from the East. On walls and furniture will be applied to the formation of a stylized pentagon which symbolizes the protection of the people of the East. In the exhibition hall will be made a special diorama dioramas that tell the story of the formation of the East Nusa Tenggara trip, as well as telling the social life of the people of East Nusa Tenggara. the diorama is expected that the information presented can be easily understood visitors.]]>
