Abstract

Surabaya City is one of big metropolitan city in Indonesia that known as Hero City because of its historical battle value at the past that give a big role to the independence of Indonesia. However, there are few places that can attract people to appreciate the struggle of the past generation that fought for Indonesia’s freedom. As the city grows, so many shopping centers built as recreation center and the impact is that historical recreation is not attractive for local people anymore. With designing a recreation place about Surabaya in past time by using diorama concept that show the old town of Surabaya in the colonial age and adapt people’s modern lifestyle nowadays, the designer hope that the people, especially in Surabaya City, will appreciate more and have a good knowledge about history of Surabaya City and be proud to our heroes in this city.

Abstract

Child is an individual who developing into adults. Within each level of age, the child’s development is also increasing rapidly. Therefore, it is necessary to know the child’s understanding deeper. In modern times, there are many organizations or agencies that put full concentration in children. Due to globalization, the parents have their own busy and in the end they did not have much time for children, so that childrem get less attention. Development of a child is an important part of children’s education. Developing children’s creativity at this age.

Abstract

Nowadays, the sport of horseback riding in East Java is growing rapidly. It can be seen from the game of horse racing and equestrian/horseback riding stunt more often held, as well as the increasing number of population of horse breeder in East Java. The regional administrator of East Java’s PORDASI had the idea to build a horse racing and equestrian field complete with amenities. According to the survey results, in Indonesia, Pulomas Jakarta is the only horse racing field which has buildings and spaces inside. However, the building and the interior are not designed properly.The design aims to answer the needs at the racetrack for both athletes, Jockey, trainer, groom/nurse horses, horse owners, administrators, and fans of this sports.  From the concept, themed “The Sandalwood Horse”, the designer found 3 major keywords, those keywords are: horses, local, and blending. This design implements the horses’ characteristics, physical surroundings, and other objects that are associated with the horse into the interior design, then combined it with local natural material to create the impression of natural space. This design has answered all the problems of the space requirements as well as the circulation of the interior of the main building in the racetrack optimally, and also can give the horse atmosphere from the interior of the building, especially on the interior elements and furniture.

Abstract

Music is one of inseparable part in human life. In order to fulfill the needs, many fancy concert buildings are built worldwide, and sort to be an icon of the country which often being visited by foreigner or tourist. Samarinda is one of developing city in Indonesia which often held musik concerts. But with the limitness of the building, the musik concerts is often held outdoor and seems not optimal in acoustic perspective. Applied qualitative method is one of the method to be used for analyze these concert buildings. In this scheme, philosophy aspect of Dayaks culture is applied to promote Samarindas local culture itself and be a special icon for the city. Acoustic calibrating is also done in this building scheme to support its vision as an optimal musik concert place especially in audiovisual aspect.

Abstract

In development of an era, many have opened businesses especially pertaining to technology. Undergo development technology which is very fast amongother areas. Technology enjoyed by all people, young and old, so it is with batman. Batman is one of a superhero that all people known and is one figure that use high-tech to defeat his enemy. Community of batman need a place to grouping and progress. Then house of batman in Surabaya made to accommodate the activities of the community of Batman that pertaining to batman. The concept that use of advanced technology is used by batman apply to furnitures café also plot of the sequel batman applied to the design of the room.

Abstract

Fashion is not simple term to describe clothes but a lifestyle pursued in the society of big cities. It’s an outcome of the non-stop development of the international brand clothing lines. Local brand clothing lines are on the move as well, ready to compete with the international brand fashion. U.S. House of Design is one of the local brand fashion with high quality fashion which participated the fashion competition since July 2012. For it is able to win the heart of the society, it has to have a strong brand image. The brand image is including the interior branding that is going to be the retail house for the high fashion produced by U.S. House of Design.

Abstract

Showroom adalah sebuah ruangan yang dibuat dengan tujuan untuk memamerkan produk-produk yang akan dijual di area tersebut. Showroom umumnya hanya memamerkan produk-produk yang bermutu atau memiliki merek yang cukup dikenal. Aturan ini tetap berlaku bagi produk otomotif, sehingga tiap merek otomotif umumnya menekankan memiliki showroom tersendiri. BMW, salah satu merek mobil terkenal di Indonesia juga menekankan showroom perusahaan yang unik. BMW merupakan salah satu brand mobil premium, yang dikagumi dalam hal konsistensinya menghadirkan mobil sport premium dengan performa tinggi, tingkat keamanan yang tinggi, desain yang menarik / berciri khas, nyaman dikendarai serta menghadirkan inovasi-inovasi baru di setiap model yang diperkenalkan. Penataan showroom memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk brand image yang diinginkan pada masyarakat. Desain interior yang baik sangat diperlukan agar showroom sebuah produk sekelas BMW dapat berfungsi dengan baik.

Abstract

“Viola Florist Centre” is an interior design which was designed to produce a one-stop-shopping florist. This interior design was designed in to accommodate various facilities such as gallery looking florist, flower arranging workshop, flower cafe, wrapping area, souvenir and gift shop. The application of an open plan Outer Space Garden concept was chosen in order to combine all of the facilities. “Viola Florist Centre” is a new place where customers can enjoy the beauty of the flowers which was displayed hanging and attached in the branch of a tree. The design of florist centre in Surabaya is believed to grow the potential flower marketing in the area.

Korean wave is a music phenomenon become popular in Korea and throughout the world, including in Indonesia itself. Many of the people of Indonesia who have "fever" K-pop, they are made up of mostly young women. In Surabaya alone, many in dirikannya fanclub for their respective idols, like ELF surabaya, surabaya Sone, Beauty, and so on. Not only in terms of music, but drama tv, culture, style clothing, food, traditional clothing until they had always wanted to know and learn. Abstract

Interior Design of Recreational Scuba Training in Surabaya is a means that aims to meet the needs of the knowledge and training of divers. The background design is Surabaya city does not yet have a dedicated facility for dive training. The scope of this design as an area galleries, stores, cafes, travel, cinema, classroom training, office and support training area. The concept of "GROWTH" is used in the design, which is inspired by coral reefs which always grow to be larger. Theme design atmosphere: "UNDER THE SEA" is transformed into a training facility with interior design elements and character as are in the sea.
