Abstract

Surabaya is a city with a thriving cultural variety with a pluralistic society where people in Surabaya is more modern that easy to accept new things that developed in the community. The purpose of Interior Design of Robot House in Surabaya is to facilitate and develop the talents of children in Surabaya who have talent and a great interest in the field of robotics and introduce robots in more detail towards the children and also as a forum for developing robotic technology continue to thrive in the world, so that Indonesia was not always behind in the field of robotics.

Abstract

Futsal is a sport that is growing in Indonesia, including in Surabaya. But in Surabaya futsal places available only to the extent any such futsal, toilets and drinking-eating sell it. And some visitors  feel less comfortable with the condition because it can not play futsak smoothly. So for that, we need to complete the design of some of the permanent facility with a modern design that presents a comfortable atmosphere and to help the community or the players can improve Performance in the game and in the activity. In facilities also have information about futsal place so that every visitor that comes not to play, but the information that they have not known before.

Abstract

Variousity of Design efforts to reducing the impact of global warming, have been a common features at this time. The heaping up container at the port caused by manufacturing of a new containers is cheaper than shiping back to the place of origin in the empty condition, is the actual fact about container. Container is easy to get and assamble, interesting to be applied, movable, structurally very strong and the important thing is can be reached with a relatively cheap price. Refunctioning container to be an activity places is the one of solution from that problem. The design method adopted from Design Thinking process. The main Consequences of construction using container material, that’s all about heat insulation. At the other side, public areas such as Skate Park Surabaya be observed from activities classified in extreme sport and require a Healthy unit centre specifically for first Aid with limited space.

Abstract

Dayak is one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia which has a fairly high cultural value. Among the many ethnic groups in Indonesia, the Dayak tribes became the oldest and the only original tribes of Borneo. Dayak tribe has its own traditions and cultural traits, namely as a tradition that has always been their ancestral worship; body or merajak tradition known as tattoos, which are now known as “Borneo Tattoo” society;, the tradition of letting their ears, and much more to culture and traditions. But the tradition and culture that the rich are now extinct, they had long abandoned their traditions and culture. The appointment of these themes to cultural traditions and reintroduced the Dayak community to Indonesia with the existence or the more modern packaging however contain cultural values in it.

Abstract

Abstrac— Batik is a high-value artwork and has become part of the cultural heritage of Indonesia (especially Java) since long. East Java actually has a typical batik motifs but many people do not understand about the philosophy and process of making the batik. As the capital of Surabaya in East Java and also the second largest city in Indonesia is a good place to built Batik Training Center. Hopefully, through this design can be a forum for lovers of batik in East Java to pour their love of batik while preserving the cultural heritage of Indonesia.

Abstract

Children in the street is one of the social problems that exist in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya, one of the major cities with high population . Poverty is the main cause that forces children to seek income and living on the streets to help the family’s economy . Street environment is possible to bring negative impacts on children who lives in the street. The education center of children in the street with Green Design concept aims to facilitate street children in order to get an education and a decent life like the kids in general through interior design with green design concept applied in order to build and develop the nation . Design methods that will be used is an analytical method to conduct field surveys and direct interviews to find out the problems, then collect data, and analyze the data as a basis for designing the interior with standard literature. Interior design of street children’s education center with Green Design concept is not only the result of social problem solving that occurs but also as a life-support and the learning process for the better.

Abstract

Religion is considered as one of the basic needs in today's modern world living. Basic human needs nowadays are in fostering, enhancing, and developing the mental, spiritual state of the mind that can be found in the Church. The church is a building where Christians do worship, one of which is in the Indonesian Bethel Church, especially in the Perumnas area of Mojosongo, Jebres, Surakarta. The Church building is not only used to fulfill human spiritual needs, but is also used for academic purposes. Hence, in order to maximize the function of the building, it requires interior products and decorative elements which of course are based on the ergonomics that will provide comfort and support the people who are carrying out activities in the building.

Interior Design Shinjuku Hairmake Surabaya is a project of designing the interior of a place of beauty and hair care that located in the city of Surabaya. interior design can attract the curiosity and provide comfort for visitors. Facility that will be designed are the lobby, waiting room, haircut hall, hairwash room, hair care hall, makeup hall, nail art hall, retail hall, and staff hall. This design is expected to provide the characteristics and identity of the Shinjuku Hairmake in Surabaya. With an attractive interior and comfortably space can be a plus point for the salon itself, supported with lighting and regular circulation

Abstract

The advanced development of music makes the musician do the same thing. The music store nowadays already answered every needs, but there’s no music store which become the center where every music instrument are provide there. This music center is a design that has never existed before in Indonesia, where the design includes a complete music equipment sales according to each classification, and also a facility for musician and non-musician to gather and learn together about music. Abstract

The development of the era is occurring along with the change in people’s lifestyle, particularly in the life of students. Their time are often consumed by studying, leaving very little room for entertainment. This phenomenon has triggered entrepreneurs to view the coffee shop as a promising business opportunity. Many coffee shops today offer a one-stop shopping system such that visitors can fulfill their various desires altogether at a single place. This research develops the idea of a Collaborative Coffee Shop as a place that can accommodate the multiple needs of students as well as the general public, such as working, interacting, collaborating, having discussions and doing other activities that can enrich the ideas of each individual. The objective of this research design project is to create an interior design with the Collaborative concept that can improve productivity, creativity and business development of the Collaborative Coffee Shop users. The method used in this design process is the Design Thinking method, consisting of six steps, which are (1) Empathize and Define, (2) Research, (3) Ideate, (4) Prototype, (5) Test, and (6) Implement. Additional facilities designed in this research include an educative playground, a personal area, a modular workstation, and a play area to support the Collaborative concept. The benefits that students, particularly in Surabaya, can take privilege of with the existence of this coffee shop is a modular facility and an open space system that can provide a more relaxed working atmosphere and encourage social interaction among individuals
