Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of @malanggateway's Instagram promotional content by comparing the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) model approach and factual engagement metrics from Instagram Insights. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a comparative approach, analyzing six paid advertising content selected through a purposive sampling technique during the period of January–December 2024. Engagement data includes metrics likes, comments, saves, shares, link clicks and reach, while AIDA scores were obtained through a questionnaire with 35 respondents. The three content with the highest engagement had an average score of 3.83 with an average AIDA score of 4.37, while the three content with the lowest engagement had a score of 0.50 with an average AIDA score of 4.33. The results show that although most content has a high AIDA score, this is not always directly proportional to actual engagement on Instagram. This finding suggests that the success of promotional content depends not only on the strength of the communication structure, but also on visual factors, upload time, and audience preferences. In conclusion, the AIDA model is effective as a content development framework, but it needs to be combined with social media metrics analysis for a more optimal marketing strategy.

Abstract

The high divorce rate in Malang City is a social issue that requires data-driven analysis to support targeted policy formulation, leading this study to analyze the patterns and characteristics of divorce at the Malang City Religious Court using the Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) algorithm with the Average Linkage method. Utilizing a dataset of 5,891 cases from the 2022–2024 period—including attributes such as divorce type, ages of the parties, causal factors, and the district of marriage—the research followed the CRISP-DM framework and employed the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) to determine that the optimal number of clusters was 10 for 2022, 2023, and the combined data, and 11 for 2024. The findings reveal that the 20–30 age range is the group most vulnerable to divorce, primarily driven by constant disputes and arguments, with Kedungkandang, Sukun, and Blimbing identified as the districts with the highest divorce rates. Ultimately, this research serves as a foundation for relevant authorities to design more targeted divorce prevention programs based on specific regional and demographic characteristics.

Abstract

Sujarwo Aluminum was founded by Mr. Eko Sujarwo. This shop focuses on the production of aluminum products in Nganjuk Regency. The products offered include windows, doors, frames, display cases, kitchen sets, shelves, cupboards and TV tables, with a production capacity of 2 to 10 projects per month. Currently, the product ordering process is still done conventionally via telephone or direct visit to the shop, but this method is considered less efficient by Mr. Eko Sujarwo. Conventional processes can cause several obstacles, such as the absence of Mr. Eko Sujarwo when contacted and the need for customers to come directly, causing the need for more efficient ordering methods. The proposed solution to overcome these obstacles is the development of an E-commerce website simulation using quantitative methods to facilitate online product ordering. This platform will increase sales efficiency, provide easily accessible product information, and reduce dependence on third-party platforms. The research results show that with the E-commerce website, customers can place orders in less than 1 hour compared to the previous time of 2-4 hours. Based on this research, an increase in efficiency of 50% -75% was obtained.

Abstract

The Academic Information System (SIAKAD) plays an important role in supporting academic activities in higher education institutions. This study applies front-end development using the Next.js framework to replace the previous Angular 10-based system, which faced performance and maintenance issues. The development process follows an iterative Agile approach, including requirement planning, use case diagram preparation for both lecturers and students, interface implementation, API integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The implementation results show that the system enables lecturers to validate KRS, review academic results, manage attendance, and access transcript copies, while students can fill out KRS, view KHS, monitor CPL/CPMK, and manage personal data. Blackbox testing confirmed that all features function as expected. The use of Next.js offers advantages in rendering performance, modular component development, and API integration efficiency, making the system optimal, maintainable, and ready for future development.

Abstract

The Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at STIMATA plays a crucial role in supporting academic processes, particularly for lecturers as active users. However, challenges remain, including unintuitive interfaces, limited features, and unclear user role distinctions. This study aims to evaluate the usability of SIAKAD’s interface from the lecturer’s perspective using the Heuristic Evaluation (HE) method. The evaluation involved 22 lecturers who assessed issues based on Nielsen’s 10 usability heuristics. Each issue was rated using a severity scale from 0 to 4. The results revealed several heuristic violations affecting the system’s effectiveness and efficiency. This study provides prioritized improvement recommendations to enhance user experience and support the development of a more responsive and user-centered interface for lecturers
