Abstract

Postgraduate IIB Darmajaya in Management program in its curriculum offers concentration subjects in the third semester. Concentrations in the field of economics are grouped into three concentrations namely marketing, human resources (HR) and finance (Finance). In the third-semester students are required to choose one concentration of the field of economics according to their competence. But the obstacle is often found in the choice of concentration in the field of economics is that many students still unable recognize their interests and abilities. Besides, many students who choose the concentration in the field of economics only follow the most specialization, but do not follow based on their abilities. According to that, it requires the tool to able to provide decision support in term of selecting concentrations based on predetermined considerations. The methods used in solving this problem are Weighted Average Method and Tsukomoto Fuzzy FIS Method with 4 (four) input variables and 3 (three) output variables. Input variables consist of subject values, interest values, motivation values , and abilities. While the output variable consists of marketing concentration, human resources (HR) and finance (Finance) The sample was taken from second semester students of Master of Management.The test results show that the recommendation for the selection of the right concentration for these students is Financial specialization with a Defuzzification value of 65.91 higher than Marketing and Human Resources specialization which is 64,69 and 64,59, respectively Keywords: Decision Support System, Weighted Average Method, Tsukomoto Fuzzy FIS Method, Concentration

Abstract

In the world of education today the role of computers has become very much needed, almost all schools have used computer aids for administrative processes and other matters. This research is motivated by the lack of use of computers as a learning medium in SMK Negeri 1 Prabumulih, the delivery and explanation of the material still use previous methods such as, using books and explaining on the board. The purpose of this research is to make the Application of Learning Media for Introduction to Computer Networks for Multimedia students using Adobe Flash CS 3 Professional. The results of research in making instructional media are carried out through a process of analysis, production design, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis process, edutainment aspects that must be present in the learning media are obtained, including an attractive, interactive display, using sound effects, pictures and videos of learning material. Furthermore, the learning media are packaged in a CD. So hopefully with this learning media, the learning system at SMK Negeri 1 Prabumulih can be even better.Keywords - Learning Media, Multimedia, Computer Network

Abstract

Heart disease ranks the top cause of death compared to stroke, lung cancer, breast cancer, and AIDS. Most ordinary people are very concerned about health, especially heart health. They are reluctant to check their heart health due to lack of service to patients, lack of medical personnel, especially cardiologists and limited working hours of doctors. So the need for a technology that is capable of adopting human thinking is artificial intelligence technology. Expert system is one of the artificial intelligence technologies. This expert system was created as a means to help diagnose and manage patients. The development of this system uses the forward chaining and certainty factor algorithms, and the system development tools used are UML (Unified Modeling Language), this research will produce an expert system application to diagnose heart disease with the output of possible diseases along with the percentage. It is hoped that this expert system will help and accelerate the work of cardiologists in diagnosing early heart disease.Keywords— heart disease, forward chaining, Unified Modeling Language, expert systems, diagnosis

Abstract

A dictionary is a reference book that contains words and phrases that are usually arranged in alphabetical order along with an explanation of their meaning, usage and translation and function to help recognize new terms. The field of computer science certainly has specific terms related to computers, so it is needed a dictionary of computer terms, currently the existing dictionary is still conventional in its use ineffective and inefficient. The design and manufacture of applications using algorithms by performing a sequence of logical steps in solving problems that are arranged systematically. Algorithms for searching are now growing day by day. Boyer Moore algorithm is one of the search algorithms that is considered to have the best results, namely the algorithm that moves matching strings from right to left. Abstract

A control system is a very important aspect in modern technology. This is a interconnection of the components in the connected or associated in such a way as to a direct order or regulate itself and another system. In IIB darmajaya electric system is still done manually , thus that personnel must make building of life and death MCB ( miniature circuit breakers and officials did not can on the monitoring of the MCB will are in a on or off. Based on these problems so there should have a system that could be implemented centrally and also made aimed to ease the users or officers can control and on the monitoring an electrical device from a distance. The design process made system made up of several components of them mikrokontroler arduino that serves as control , CT (Current Transformer) censorship as detecting an electric current , ethernet shield as a liaison tissue between the computer by arduino and relay (Magnetic Contactor) as a switch. Thus, the result of this research is the control system and on the monitoring an electrical device on MCB centrally. Thus the building only will no longer around to check mcb installed at every building as the use of electricity in line with the needs so as to diminish electricity consumption will have.Keywords :  Microcontroler Aduino, Ethernet Shield, System Control, MCB

Abstract

Information is one of the most important factors at this time, especially for organizations that use information technology (IT) as a supporter of their business processes. Lampung Post is a company that uses IT to support its business processes. But in its development, technological progress is also used as an opportunity to commit crime in cyberspace or other media that are often known as cyber crime. Cyber crime is to take over the website and also change the contents of the website content that causes harm to the company and also company partners who are still in one group of companies. To maintain the security of corporate information systems, a technology or system with good information security management is needed to safeguard information assets and prevent activities that can harm the company. For this reason, an information system audit is needed to assess current and expected capability of corporate information technology governance. This research on auditing information systems uses the COBIT 5 framework to find solutions to improve corporate information technology governance systems and use a scale of 0-5 in determining the capability level assessment. The results of the information system audit show that the current value is on a scale of 3 (Established), while the value of the excpect is at level 5 (Optimizing).Keywords :  Audit, Capability Level, Framework COBIT 5 , Information Systems

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors - factors that affect the level of user acceptance of e-learning in STMIK Surya Intan Kotabumi by lecturers as users, teachers and content developers. This study uses a model approach Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and models - other models. Model UTAUT dimofikasi by adding some variables to refer to the study - previous research. Variables used include performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, self-efficacy, information quality, system quality, service quality, behavioral intention, actual use and moderator usia..Langkah-step analysis of factors - factors is making a questionnaire derived from the model UTAUT, alter the results of a questionnaire by the method of successive interval (MSI). Furthermore, analysis of data using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). PLS The data were processed using the application smartPLS. The results showed that only four variables that affect directly the use of e-learning (actual use) by lecturers at STMIK Surya Intan Kotabumi. These variables include interest for the use of e-learning (behavioral intention),influence the ability of professors to the use of e-learning (self-efficacy), influence the quality of information provided e-learning (information quality), and quality of service (service quality).Keyword : E-Learning, UTAUT, MSI, PLS-SEM, SmartPLS

Abstract

Education is a very important aspect of the life of the nation and state especially in helping the progress of the nation and state. Education is also one of the benchmarks in assessing the level of development of the country and improving welfare and improving people's lives. Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) is a formal education school at the level of junior high schools where the management is carried out by the Ministry of Religion. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Muawanah is one of the schools that has the goal of producing quality graduates, the problem faced is the difficulty in determining who will be chosen as the best graduate because of the many students who excel and fierce competition between students with subjective nature. To overcome these problems, a decision support system application was designed for the selection of the best graduates using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method, where this method is often also known as the weighted sum method. The basic concept of SAW is to find a weighted sum of performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The criteria used include the average value of the National Standard Madrasah Final Examination, the average value of the National Standard School Examination, the average value of the National Examination, and the average value of report cards. The results of this application can facilitate the school in determining the best graduates based on predetermined criteria. Keywords: Application, Decision Support System, SAW, Best Graduates.

Abstract

Information systems contribute to improving the quality of education services, operational efficiency and organizational business support. The use of information systems and information technology in a variety of teaching and learning process activities in an educational institution is not something that is complementary and additional, but a need in improving the process and the results of educational implementation of universities, therefore it is necessary to manage the information by building a system Information (SI) and supported by good and planned Information Technology (IT) to become a new strength for institutions in maintaining and increasing competitiveness. The Ward and Peppard method is a widely used model for preparing a strategic planning of an information system in an organization. With this method, various factors affecting both internal and external organizations are analyzed in such a way as to derive a new strategy. Research conducted in STKIP Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, data collection is done by doing interviews, observation and review documents. Abstract

Motorbikes are motorized vehicles that have two wheels. in a straight line lined up so that when the conditions go at high speed it remains stable because of the gyroscopic force. Moving at high speeds continues to run stable and at low speeds stability always depends on the settings. In Indonesia motorbike users are very popular because they are cheap, easy to reach, save fuel and the maintenance costs are not large. One of the most famous motorbikes in Indonesia is Yamaha with its founder from Japan named Yama Tarakusu. Yamaha motorbike is a service for consumers in providing motorized vehicle maintenance because it is designed by reliable experts. Yamaha Motor Trade Expo Showroom Simalungun Regency dealers selling motorcycles, spare parts while providing service services for consumer motorcycle vehicles have not been maximized and have not been satisfactory because they are still done manually on sales, especially in selling spare parts because there is no fast and accurate information regarding stock or inventory. In terms of service services, there is also no application system running at the Yamaha Motor Trade Expo Showroom in Simalungun Regency. The design of sales and service applications aims to facilitate and accelerate the sales data processing and motorcycle service, so that the administration of sales and information is faster and more accurate. Departing from this, the author designed the application of sales and service services at the Yamaha Motor Trade Expo Showroom in Simalungun Regency in the hope that sales applications and service services can provide fast, precise and accurate information.Keywords : Sales, Motorcycle Services, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, MySQL
