<![CDATA[This study is based on representation of the values of local wisdom contained in the paintings Srihadi Sudarsono, especially on two phenomenal works that much as source of inspiration, namely Borobudur and Dance Bedaya Ketawang. The objective of this research is to identify the dimensions of the values of the local wisdom contained in the Srihadi Soedarsono’s paintings. This research is a qualitative research using literature review and analyzed descriptively with explorative approach. The results showed that: (1) an artist's social background with a very strong culture will affect the artistic process which is seen at the works of art produced (2) Representation of local values contained in the Srihadi’s paintings, representing the concept of representation, either individually or in groups, (3) The values of local wisdom in Srihadi’s paintings have values of local knowledge , local values and the local solidarity group dimensions.]]>

<![CDATA[In the globalization era, the business processes evolves rapidly and human resources become a very valuable and largest asset for company. Human Capital Management has a strategic role for the organization. The objective of this wiring is to discuss how to make the Human Resource Department which regarded as a cost centre can be made as a profit centre. The methods used library research with the descriptive and explorative approaches. It can be concluded that (1) the implementation of Human Resources Cost Management Technology can reduce administrative costs, consulting cost and service charge, because Human Resources Department could manage the vendor better and improve employee performance. (2) By developing the performance of Human Resources Department, can make their own profit for the company to act as external corporate entity, through providing human resource outsourcing services to the company itself and other companies which is a profitable business. (3) Human Resources Department is no longer as a cost center, but can be a profit center.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is a country of the largest mangrove forest in the world, but the deforestation problem will lead into the change of coastal ecosystem which causes the downgrade the physical, biological and economic level. The goal of this research is to analyze the change of mangrove forest using the Landsat image of 2001–2011 in Probolinggo Regency. Based on the result of analysis of Landsat image of 2001 and 2011, it is indicated that during 11 years period there is a change of mangrove forest area, with the most dominant change happened in Tambakrejo village at 25,57 hectars, in Lemahkembar village at 22,46 hectars and in Mangunharjo village at 17,66 hectars. Meanwhile, the less dominant change of mangrove forest was happened in Sumberanyar village at 3,25 hectars, Bayeman village at 1,82 hectars, and Dungun village at 1,31 hectars.]]>

<![CDATA[The spectacular development of the information technology in communication. has greatly impact the development of law and social interaction. Beside giving a positive contribution for the information technology media used, howewer, it also has caused negative impact in another part. In order to prevent this, the Indonesian government has initiated a new regulation as the Information and Electronic Transaction Law No. 11 year 2008. The regulation is the prior Indonesian law, which arranged the implementation of information technology communication. The objectived of this research is to discuss the impact of the information and electronic transaction and its implementation in Indonesian. The method used library research, which connected with the implementation in the real field, and analyzed descriptively. It can be concluded that: (1) The regulation number 11 year 2008 give the protection to the of the information and electronik transaction society. (2) it shoud be socialized to the community in order to achive the law security for the information technology user and promotor.]]>

<![CDATA[The society consisted of entrepreneurs Gunung Sindur Bogor workers, mobile sellers and few others business with limited capital. Multipurpose Cooperative Enterprises Mutiara Mandiri role in improving the economy Gunung Sindur Bogor. Purpose of this study was to determine 1). How the role of Independent Multipurpose Cooperative Enterprises Mutiara Mandiri to boost the economy and society Gunung Sindur Bogor 2). To know is there any limiting factors in the management of the cooperative effort Multi Mutiara Mandiri. This research method is descriptive method that is normative and empirical research on the problems that occur at this time. The conclusion are: (1) The Cooperative Enterprises Mutiara Mandiri Gunung Sindur Bogor has a significant role in improving the welfare of society Gunung Sindur particularly the economical matters, especially members of the cooperative (2) The obstacles are: 1. Internally: (a) lack of understanding of the cooperative (b) lack of awareness of the cooperative meaning and procedures (c) Do not understand that the cooperative management. 2. externally: the limitation of the cooperative capital which cannot be used for loan and no fixed asset.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discussed about the utilization of MODIS and TRMM satellite data to monitor flood in paddy field. The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of provision spatial information of flood prone area in the paddy field in East Java and Bali Province which can be done periodically (monthly) based on remote sensing data. Data used in this research is Terra/Aqua MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectoradiometer) on November and December 2011 on 8 daily period, rainfall data which is obtained from TRMM data in the same period on November and December 2011, standard extensive field and administration map of East Java and Bali province. The method which is used in this research is to combine EVI (Enhance Vegetation Index) with rainfall data in the same period in order to obtain flood prone area, which is classified into 5 classes, namely non flood, mild, moderate, heavy, and very heavy.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia as an archipelagic country with various ethnic groups which has the diversity of thinking, art, religion, science, languages and traditions of the local cultures with unique n different characteristics. The objective of this study is to analyze the Indonesian cultural diversity by using SWOT analysis. The methods used library research with descriptive explorative approaches. it is concluded that: (1) The differences arising from cultural diversity has the potential as a nation to build strength, (2) The weaknesses arising from the lack of understanding of the cultural values to trigger conflict, (3) The opportunities arise when working together despite the different cultures in order to face the globalization, (4) As the challenges to respond and to manage the value of local and global competition so as to maintain the existing culture.]]>

<![CDATA[Employee is the asset of a company. The productivity is based on the employees’ performance which is in accordance with the principles of “the right man in the right place†in order to achieve the company’s goal. The first step in placing the right person is by doing the recruitment and selection of the human resources who are suitable and have a high motivation in doing the jobs. The objective of this study is to find out the process, the purpose and the difficulties in the recruitment process. and the obstacles. The method used is literature research with descriptive and explorative approach. It can be concluded that : (1) The well arranged recruitment and selection strategy will deliver positive results for the company, (2) To have the company’s highest performance should be supported by the good quality of the employees, (3) The more effective the recruitment, the better the employee will be, (4) There are some obstacles in the recruitment process such as the company’s regulation, habit of the possible employees and external factors of the company’s surrounding.]]>

<![CDATA[In order to develop the business, lot of companies conducts variety of ways to get their capital needs. One of them is by increasing the number of shares by issuing new shares. This can be done by launched offering of company’s shares in Indonesia stock exchange. An offering of company's shares to the public through the stock exchange called 'go public', while an initial public offering of the shares called Initial Public Offering (IPO.) This research aims to analyze the factors affect of shares allegedly under pricing on company who launched an IPO in Indonesia stock exchange during 2006-2010. The research method descriptive analysis which the dependent variable is the level of under pricing shares, while Independent variables are underwriter reputation, financial leverage, proceeds, and industrial type. The research used multiple regression models to test the relationship between dependent and independent variable. The hypothesis was tested using statistical methods in multiple regression models to find out whether linear factors simultaneously or partially influence the degree of under pricing shares. The testing done shows partially, indicate that only reputation of underwriting having a significant affect to under pricing. Whereas by simultaneously financial leverage, proceeds, and industrial type obtained result have significant affect to under pricing.]]>
