Abstract

The application of CSR is related to good corporate governance. The implementation of GCG will have a positive impact on the business environment and increase the confidence of stakeholders, especially investors, to the company. This study aims to find out how the application of CSR is a pillar in the direction of good and healthy corporate governance at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Surabaya. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques conducted by semi-structured interviews and documentation on corporate social responsibility and good corporate governance data. The results showed that the PKU Muhammadiyah Surabaya hospital had implemented a CSR program in accordance with the specified program, but in implementing GCG there were values that had not been maximally implemented (the principles of transparency, responsibility and independence)Keywords: Corporate social responsibility, Good Corporate Governance, Transparency,  Responsibility, Independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of responsibility center to the performance of each division in STIKES RS Anwar Medika in Sidoarjo. The design of this study is quantitative using survey methods. Observations were made with a questionnaire instrument with scoring given to educators and students of the achievements of each division STIKES RS Anwar Medika in Sidoarjo. The results of this study illustrate that the performance of the three divisions is sufficient to achieve the vision and mission of the STIKES RS Anwar Medika, but this has not been maximized due to inappropriate strategies. It is known that the number of educators is not balanced with the number of students resulting in a high workload of educators and an impact on the lack of educator productivity in terms of research development. Completeness of laboratory facilities is sufficiently supported so that students can take advantage of research development and knowledge enhancement. Abstract

At present, investment is well known in Indonesian society, investment awareness by the public has begun to increase along with the existence of several investment instruments that are widely offered by bank financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, as well as various types of investment options on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. According to Sophar Lumbantoruan (1996), the notion of investment is equity participation in other companies. One form of investment known to the general public is shares traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Investing always considers the results and risks that will be faced by Investors. Not all investors understand the theory of investing in stocks, especially in selecting shares in a portfolio in order to produce a certain rate of return with minimal risk. This study aims to find a decision support system (DSS) based on Financial Technology that will provide information related to stock recommendations that should be bought by investors. Stock Selection in this study are shares of listed companies listed on the Kompas 100 Index, the Analysis Technique used in this study is the Single Index Model. This research can produce recommendations for investors to buy shares in a portfolio that will provide certain benefits with minimal risk. Abstract

Financial behavior is a reflection of human behavior in managing their finances, many things that can affect, including financial quotient and lifestyles. The aim of the study is to understand the impact of financial quotient and lifestyles on financial behavior of female lecturers at STIE Pancasetia Banjarmasin. Data was collected through indepthinterview with three resource persons who teach finance or e-commerce. Understanding financial does not necessarily make a person implement it comprehensively in life, especially for female workers who are relatively young, there is a tendency not to pay attention to risks and protection for their future. Today’s lifestyle is closely related to the nurture, and this can be seen from their habits in using money. Individuals with better financial quotient will better understand how to plan the utilization of their income so they will choose a lifestyle that suits them, so they will behave in accordance with these choices. Abstract

BPR Jatim is a bank owned by the East Java Provincial Government and Regency / City Governments throughout East Java. In its role as an intermediary institution and supporting government programs, BPR East Java always strives to increase credit distribution to the real sector, especially micro, small and medium enterprises by offering products tailored to customer needs. This is done because there are still many MSMEs in the city of Surabaya who are experiencing capital difficulties. The limited capital owned by MSMEs will affect the development of MSMEs. BPR Jatim Kota Surabaya has 1,977 customers. This study aims to analyze the role of BPR East Java in increasing the income of MSMEs in the city of Surabaya. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected using interview, observation and documentation methods. The subjects in this study were customers and employees of BPR Jatim. Then the object is the role of the East Java BPR. The results showed that the East Java BPR plays a very important role in the development of MSMEs in the city of Surabaya. BPR Jatim offers various types of credit products tailored to customer needs. Among the existing types of credit, 70% of East Java BPR customers take special loans. BPR Jatim also provides convenience in terms and procedures for applying for credit and provides the best service for its customers. East Java BPR customers have increased every month. All informants said that their business had developed after receiving credit from the East Java BPR. This development is indicated by an increase in income, additional workforce and more advanced business units. Keywords: East Java BPR, Income, UMKM
