Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study are examine the relationship between self-esteemand social support with the Psychological Well Being In The Still Single AdultWomen, this research method using a quantitative method with multiple regressiondata analysis techniques. Subject of the study is that single women with a number ofsubjects as many as 50 people. The results based on statistical tests show nila Fregression = 5.062; p = 0.010 <0.05. Abstract

Research aim to enhancement of understanding of perception oforganizational politics from power sources perspective. Research subject are 51employees from various work organization. Perception of organizational politicsmeasured with researcher design scale. Power sources measured with standardizedscale. Data analyzed with multiple regression. Result of analysis shows: 1) F = 2,637and p = 0,046 (p < 0,05), legitimate power, reward power, expert power and referentpower simultaneously are in the same direction correlate with perception oforganizational politics with contribution of 18,7%; 2) Legitimate power B = – 0,340and p = 0,059 (p > 0,05) partially uncorrelated with perception of organizationalpolitics; 3) Reward power B = 1,601 and p = 0,046 (p < 0,05) shows that withcontrolling of legitimate, expert, and referent power, then correlation between rewardpower with perception of organizational politics significantly is in the same direction;4) Expert power B = – 0,649 and p = 0,277 (p > 0,05) partially uncorrelated withperception of organizational politics, and 5) Referent power B = – 1,304 and p =0,030 (p < 0,05) partially negative correlated with perception of organizationalpolitics.Keywords : organizational politics, legitimate power, reward power, expert powerreferent power

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship betweensocial support, emotional intelligence with resilience teachers of extraordinaryschools (SLB) in Surabaya .this study conducted on teachers who teach inextraordinary schools by the number of study subjects were 100 people who are inifive schools. Collection data in the form of social support scala consisting of 26item, emotional intelligence of 20 items and teacher resilience 26 item. That measureinstruments have valid and reliabilitas. Data were analyzed using multiple regresionanalysis. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that variables of socialsupport, emotional intelligence have a significant relation with resilience(F=50.893; p=0,000). This suggests that there is a positive and signifikactcorrelation between social support and emotional intelligence with resilience ofteacher. From the result of calculation for each variables to the resilience, it’sknown that emotional intelligence (0,239%) more contributes to resilience thansocial support(0,562%).Keywords : social support, emotional intelligence, resilience

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Meaningin Life and Emotional Stability at depression level. Subjects were students who enterthe category of early adulthood (19-25 years) in Yogyakarta. Number 93 researchsubjects. Regression analysis showed: (1) here was a significant relationship betweenemotional stability, Meaning in Life and Depression level , with a coefficient F =17.494 , p = 0.000 ; p < 0.05 ( 2 ) obtained regression line equation is Y = 106.2120421x1 - x2 0511 , where Y is the Depression , X1 and X2 are Meaning in Life isEmotional Stability . Negative coefficient in Meaning in Life and Stability Emotionsgive meaning or effect the opposite relationship with Depression . If Meaning in Lifeand Emotional Stability increases, the depression will decrease and vice versa if theMeaning in Life and Emotional Stability decreased it will increase the Depression

Abstract

The purpose of this research is testing the relation between religiousnessand authoritarian parenting with prosocial behavior of adolescents in Islamicbuilding school. The subjects of this research are 119 teenagers, 14-17 years. Thisresearch uses quantitative method. The data collection method uses the scale ofpsychology are arranged based on variable construct theory of religiousness,authoritarian parenting and prosocial behavior. The data analysis used isregression and partial analysis. Research result indicates there is a relation betweenreligiousness and the more authoritarian parenting with prosocial behavior (Freg=0,7758; p = 0,001 <0,01), while partially found that no relation betweenreligiousness to prosocial behavior (rpartialPENDAHULUANIndonesia beberapa tahun terakhir inidihadapkan pada kenyataan akan beragamkonflik. Beberapa contoh konflik yang tampakdan langsung dapat dirasakan adalah keacuhan,ketidakpedulian, dan permusuhan. Pelakubukan hanya masya-rakat awam, namun jugapelajar yang masih berusia remaja. Remaja233= 0,94; treg= 0,803 ; p = 0,425>0,05),and there is a negative relationship between the more authoritarian parenting withprosocial behavior (rpartial= -0,395; treg= -3,644; p = 0,001<0,01).Keywords : prosocial behavior, religiousness, authoritarian parenting, adolescent

Abstract

Emotional maturity, self-efficacy, and Smoking Behavior examined in acorrelational quantitative research. Subjects were 131 Adolescence on 12 – 15 Yearof Ages. Researcher developed two research instrument of measurement, namely thescale of smoking behavior and the scale of emotional maturity. Data of studyvariables were analyzed with the multiple regression analysis. The results of theanalysis are: 1) R = 0,181, F = 2,179, p = 0,177 (p > 0,05) showed no correlationof emotional maturity and self-efficacy with smoking behavior on 12 – 15 Year ofAges simultaneously, 2) r partial = - 0,173, p = 0,049 (p < 0,05) shows thecorrelation of emotional maturity with smoking behavior is a negative direction andlinear; 3) r partial = - 0,055, p = 0,534 (p > 0,05) shows no correlation self-efficacywith smoking behaviorKeywords : emotional maturity, self-efficacy, smoking behavior

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the relationship tendency democraticparenting and emotional intelligence and academic achievement Bilingual juniorstudents. Subject reaserch are 124 male and female students grade 7 juniorBilingual tepadu Junwangi-Krian. The implementation of data collection is done injunior high school student and Bilingual Integrated. Distributed measurement scaleconsists of two questionnaires: 1) Democracy parenting scale, 2) emotionalintelligence scale. The result show F regression = 2.898 de-ngan p = 0.059 (p>0.05) , this means that there is no significant relationship between democraticparenting and emotional maturity with Academic Achievement.Keywords : learning achievement, parenting Democracy, emotional intelligence

Abstract

The goal of this research is to find the correlation between Self confidenceand social endorsement with students’ anxiety facing the University selectionprocess. 163 students of XI grade of SMA Negeri 6 Madiun become the subject,(consist of 68 boys and 95 girls). Researcher use three kinds of way in this researchthey are; students’anxiety facing the University selection process scale, selfconfidence scale and self endorsement scale. The research data analyzed withcorrelation analysis level Spearman’Rho. The research results are; 1) Selfconfidence with students’ anxiety facing University selection process is Rho 0,040and p = 0,610 (p < 0,05), it means there is no negative correlation with students’anxiety facing the University selection process. 2) social endorsement withstudents’anxiety facing the University selection process resulted Rho 0,444 and p =0,000 (p < 0,05), it means social endorsement has positive correlation betweenstudents’ anxiety facing the University selection process.Keywords : self confidence, social endorsement, and students’anxiety in facing theUniversity selection process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between socialsupport and religiosity with stress in adolescents who live in prisons son of Blitar.The subjects were 51 teenage boys who are undergoing punishment in prisons son ofBlitar. Data collection study conducted by DSI Scale (Daily Stress Inventory)developed by Brandey & Jones (1989), adolescent religiosity scale compiled byFarid (2004), and social support scale developed by the researchers.Nonparamentrik statistical analysis using the Spearman's Rho shows the correlationbetween social support and stress of 0201 and p = 0158 (p> 0.05); the correlationbetween religiosity and stress of 0182 and p = 0.200 (p> 0.05). These resultsindicate that there is no relationship between social support and religiosity withstress in adolescents Children's occupants Prison Blitar.Keywords : Stress, Social Support, Religiosity, Prison Kids, Teens

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between transformationalleadership and job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Subjects wereemployees of the production division of PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) Gresiktotaling 30 people. Data were obtained using a scale of organizational commitment,scale transformational leadership and job satisfaction scale. Based on the analysis ofdata by multiple regression unknown regression F value = 24.063, p = 0.000 (p<0.001), which indicates that there is a very significant positive relationship betweentransformational leadership and job satisfaction and organizational commitment.Thus, the hypothesis "There is a relationship between transformational leadershipand job satisfaction and organizational commitment" is acceptable. The coefficient ofdetermination (R square) amounted to 0,641, which means the effective contributionof the two predictors of transformational leadership and job satisfaction onorganizational commitment criterion amounted to 64.1%. While the remaining 35.9%influenced by other variables not included in this studyKeywords : transformational leadership, job satisfaction, organizational commitment
