Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media peta taktual dalam pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar IPS siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMALB di SLB A Negeri Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang jumlahnya 11 siswa. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pre-test post-test design. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan data prestasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes. Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, pertama, terdapat perbedaan antara motivasi belajar sebelum menggunakan media peta taktual dalam pembelajaran dibandingkan dengan motivasi belajar setelah menggunakan media peta taktual dalam pembelajaran. Kedua, terdapat perbedaan antara prestasi belajar sebelum menggunakan media peta taktual dalam pembelajaran dibandingkan dengan prestasi belajar setelah menggunakan media peta taktual dalam pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Motivasi belajar, peta taktual, prestasi belajar This study aims at investigating the effect of tactual map in teaching learning process on students? learning motivation and learning achievement. The subjects of this study were 11 students at SMALB in SLB A Negeri Denpasar in academic year 2014/2015. The design of this research was one group pre-test post-test design. Data of learning motivation were collected by using questionnaire and data of learning achievement were collected through test. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test statistical analysis. The research finding shows that, first, there is a difference of learning motivation before and after the use of tactual map in teaching learning process. Second, there is a difference of learning achievement before and after the use of tactual map in teaching learning process.keyword : Learning achievement, learning motivation, tactual map

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran terstruktur dengan media PECS dalam meningkatkan komunikasi pada anak autis di SLB C1 Negeri Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen subjek tunggal (Single Subject Research). Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, dan teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan hasilnya ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi menggunakan metode pembelajaran terstruktur dengan media PECS. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran terstruktur dengan media PECS dapat meningkatkan kencenderungan komunikasi yang positif pada anak autis di SLB C1 Negeri Denpasar tahun ajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : anak autis, komunikasi, media PECS, dan metode pembelajaran terstruktur. This research aims at investigating the effect of structured teaching method assisted with PECS media to improve communication of autistic children in SLB C1 Negeri Denpasar in academic year 2014/2015. This is a single subject research. The data of this research were collected through observation and analyzed by using descriptive statistic technique and the results are displayed in graphical form. The data analysis shows that there is an improvement of communication competence by using structured teaching method assisted with PECS media. Therefore, it can be concluded that the structured teaching method assisted with PECS media is able to trigger the improvement of positive communication tendency on autistic children in SLB C1 Negeri Denpasar in academic year 2014/2015. keyword : autistic children, communication, PECS media, and structured teaching method.
