Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pembelajaran fisika antara siswa yang belajar dengan model Contextual Teaching and Learning dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan “The posttest only control group design”. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII MTs. Negeri Negara tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas dua kelas yang setara, sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran model Contextual Teaching and Learning dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran model konvensional. Data pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa diperoleh melalui tes essay. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan MANOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model Contextual Teaching and Learning dengan MPK (F = 40,792; p < 0,05). (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Contextual Teaching and Learning dengan MPK (F=36,053 ; p < 0,05), (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Contextual Teaching and Learning dengan MPK (F= 62,706 ; p < 0,05), uji Scheffe menunjukkan bahwa model Contextual Teaching and Learning lebih baik dari MPK.   Kata Kunci: Model CTL, Pemahaman Konsep, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Model Pembelajaran Konvensional (MPK).     ABSTRACT     The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences in understanding concepts and problem solving ability of studying physics among the students with CTL model and conventional learning model. This research used the design of "The posttest only control group design". The population of this research was eighth grade students of MTs in the academic year of 2012/2013. The sample of this research was two same level classes, as an experimental class with CTL model and a control class with Conventional model.The data of the conceptual understanding and problem solving ability gained through the student essay test. The results were analyzed by descriptive and MANOVA one lane.The results of this research showed that: (1) there was a significant differences on understanding concept and problem solving ability of the students who learned with CTL and MPK (F = 40,792; p < 0,05). (2) There were differences on understanding concept between the students who learned with CTL and MPK (F = 36.053, p <0.05), and (3) there were significant differences on problem solving ability between the students who learned with CTL and MPK (F = 62.706, p <0,05). Therefore, Scheffe test showed that the CTL model was better than the MPK.   Keywords: CTL model, Understanding Concepts, Problem Solving Ability, Conventional Learning Model (MPK).

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 6 Negara dengan jumlah sampel 124 siswa yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kecerdasan emosional adalah tes pilihan ganda free content. Data yang diperoleh berupa g-skor ternormalisasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan ANAVA satu jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terjadi peningkatan nilai rerata dari setiap aspek kecerdasan emosional pada kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen cukup signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh F hitung adalah 1491,278. Angka F hitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (3,89) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan  bahwa, terdapat perbedaan kecerdasan emosional antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan model pembelajaran konvensional.   Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis proyek, pembelajaran konvensional, dan kecerdasan emosional   Abstract This study aimed to investigate the effect of project-based learning model for emotional intelligence of students in science learning. This research was a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The research population was a student of class VII in SMP Negeri 6 Negara with a sample of 124 students were divided into experimental and control groups. The instrument used to determine the emotional intelligence is a multiple choice test free content. The data obtained in the form g-score normalized. Analyses were performed using ANOVA one-way. Based on the analysis, an increase in the average value of each aspect of emotional intelligence in the experimental class and the control class. Increase in the average value of the experimental class is quite significant compared to the control class. Based on the analysis of the data, obtained F calculated is 1491.278. Figures F calculated is greater than F table (3.89) at the 0.05 significance level so that it can be concluded that, there is a difference between the emotional intelligence of students learning with project-based learning model and conventional learning models.   Keywords: project-based learning, conventional learning, and emotional intelligence

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe student team achievement divisions berbantuan lembar kerja siswa terhadap pemahaman konsep kimia ditinjau dari motivasi berprestasi.  Rancangan  yang digunakan adalah the non– equivalent post test only control group design dengan uji ANAVA dua jalur. Populasi adalah siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Negara berjumlah 273 orang terbagi dalam 7 kelas dan sampel sebanyak 234 orang yang terbagi dalam 6 kelas.  Hasil penelitian adalah (1) terdapat perbedaan nilai pemahaman konsep kimia pada siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student team achievement divisions berbantuan lembar kerja siswa, kooperatif tipe student team achievement divisions tanpa lembar kerja siswa, dan model pembelajaran langsung pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dengan kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah, (2) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap nilai pemahaman konsep kimia.   Kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif, lembar kerja siswa, motivasi berprestasi, pemahaman konsep kimia   Abstract The study was aimed to analyze the effect of cooperative learning model of type student team achievement divisions assisted by student worksheet to  comprehension chemistry concept understanding in term of achievement motivation. The research is the design of non-equivalent post test only control group design by ANOVA test with two tiles. Population are students of class X in SMA Negeri 2 Negara totaled 273 people divided into 7 classes and a sample of 234 people were divided into 6 classes. The results are: 1) there are differences in the value of understanding chemistry concepts that students taught with cooperative learning model student teams achievement divisions aided student worksheets, cooperative student teams achievement divisions without student worksheets, and direct instructional model in the group of students who have high achievement motivation with a group of students who have low achievement motivation,  (2) there were interaction between learning model and learning achievement motivation on the chemistry concept understanding Keywords: cooperative learning model, student worksheet, archievement motivation, chemistry concept understanding

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis daya dukung fasilitas laboratorium, intensitas penggunaan laboratorium, use factor alat dan bahan serta efektivitas penjabaran standar laboratorium kimia terhadap capaian kompetensi adaptif di SMK Negeri 2 Negara.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto.Daya dukung fasilitas laboratorium yang sesuai standar meliputi jenis ruang dan fasilitas umum 53% (kategori kurang),jumlah alat 45% (kategori kurang),dan jumlah bahan kimia 48% (kategori kurang).Intensitas penggunaan laboratorium pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013 pada kelas X adalah 33,3% (kategori sangat rendah), kelas XI adalah 100% (kategori sangat tinggi), dan kelas XII adalah 59,3% (kategori cukup). Use factor alat adalah 58% (kategori cukup) dan bahan 75,3% (kategori tinggi). Pengelolaan laboratorium kurang optimal.Hasil penjabaran standar laboratorium kimia di SMK Negeri 2 Negara efektif dalam mencapai kompetensi adaptif kimia. Jika alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan dalam praktikum tersedia dan atau tergantikan, rerata nilai siswa sebesar 80,3 (melampaui KKM). Kata Kunci: Standar laboratorium, efektivitas, dan kompetensi adaptif   Abstract This research was aimed to analyze facilitycarrying capacity, intensity of using laboratory, use factor equipment and chemical, laboratory management, and effectiveness chemistry laboratory standard to adaptive competence achievement.in SMK Negeri 2 Negara. This research was ex-post facto. Laboratory carrying capacitythat appropriate laboratory standard include rooms and common facility is 53% (less category),equipmentsis 45% (less category), andchemical is48% (less category).Intencity using laboratoryin 2012/2013 study yearinclass X is 33.3% (less category), class XIis 100% (very high category), and class XIIis59.3% (enough category). Equipment use factor is 58% (enough category) andchemical is 75.3% (high category). Laboratory management less optimal.The result ofsubsections of laboratory standard in SMK Negeri 2 Negara is effective to adaptive competence achievement. If equipment and chemical needed are available and or substituted, the average of student test comprehension score is 80.3 (higher than KKM).   Keywords: laboratory standard, effectiveness, andadaptive competence

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan keterampilan proses  serta hasil belajar  siswa yang melaksanakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dengan siswa yang melaksanakan pembelajaran secara konvensional. Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimen  semu. Desain penelitian ini adalah  preetest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII  di SMP Negeri 1 Negara dengan sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes keterampilan proses dengan reliabilitas 0,748, tes hasil belajar dengan reliabilitas 0,736 . Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji MANOVA dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar sains antara siswa yang melaksanakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dengan siswa yang melaksanakan pembelajaran secara konvensional(F=12,85; P< 0,05), (2) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses antara siswa yang belajar dengan  model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dengan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional(F=18,152; P< 0,05), (3) terdapat perbedaan hasil  belajar sains  siswa yang melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dengan siswa yang melaksanakan pembelajaran secara konvensional(F=9,039; P<0,05).   Kata kunci :   Model  Pembelajaran, Keterampilan Proses , Hasil Belajar     ABSTRACT This study aimed at determining the difference of process skill and learning outcomes of students who carried out learning with cooperative learning model GI, with students who carried out learning with conventional model. This included quasi-experimental study. The design of this study was Pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Negara, the sample of this study was 60 students. Data in this study were collected using the skills test of reliability coefficient equals 0,748, achievement test of reliability coefficient equals 0,736. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap keterampilan proses sains ditinjau dari gaya kognitif siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non-equivalent post-test only control group design. Pada kelompok eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol diterapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur.  Penelitian menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut. (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar keterampilan  proses sains antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran proyek dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional dengan nilai FA = 38,5313 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. (2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan proses sains dengan nilai FAB = 173,5383 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. (3) Terdapat  perbedaan hasil belajar keterampilan proses sains antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent dan kelompok siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif  field dependent dengan nilai FB = 14,3898 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05.   Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis proyek, gaya kognitif   Abstract This study aimed at investigating the effect of project-based learning model to ward the science process skills based on the students’ cognitive styles. The design of the study was quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent post-test only control group design. On the experimental group it was applied project-based learning model, whereas in the control group it was applied a conventional learning model. The data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using Two-Way ANOVA . The results of the research were (1) There are differences in learning out comes on the science process skills of the students who take Project-based learning model and the students who take conventional learning model with the value of FA = 38.5313 at significance level of 0.05. (2) There is an interaction effect between the model of learning and cognitive style on learning out comes of science process skills with the value of FAB= 173.5383 at significance level of 0.05. (3) There are differences in learning out comes on the science process skills of the students who have a field independent cognitive style and students who have a field dependent cognitive style with the value of FB = 14.3898 at significance level of 0.05.   Keywords: project-based learning, cognitive style

Abstract

Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis (1) perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (MPBP) dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (MPK) (2) perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang mengikuti MPBP dengan MPK (3) perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang mengikuti MPBP dengan MPK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control group design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling pada kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Negara tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis multivariat (Manova). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka dapat disimpulkan (1) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa antara siswa yang mengikuti MPBP dan siswa yang mengikuti MPK (Fhitung = 13,921> Ftabel = 3,91). (2) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang mengikuti MPBP dan siswa yang mengikuti MPK (Fhitung = 9,263 > Ftabel = 3,91). (3) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan bepikir kritis antara siswa yang mengikuti MPBP dan siswa yang mengikuti MPK (Fhitung = 20,714 > Ftabel = 3,91)   Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis proyek, konsep kimia, kemampuan berpikir kritis   Abstract This study was aimed to describe and analyze (1) understanding concepts and critical thinking skills difference between student that learned project-based model and conventional model, (2) understanding concept difference between student that learned project-based learning model and conventional model, (3) critical thinking skills difference between student that learned project-based model and conventional model.. This study included in quasi experiment with posttest only control group design. Sample was collected through simple random sampling in 11th grade student in SMA Negeri 2 Negara of academic year 2012/2013. The data were analyzed with multivariate analysis. The conclusion can be stated based on analysis result is (1) there was   difference between understanding  concepts and critical thinking skills as impct of project-based  model and conventional model (Fcal = 13,921 > Ftable = 3,91). (2) there was   difference between understanding  concepts as impct of project-based  model and conventional model (Fcal = 9,263 > Ftable = 3,91). Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sarana dan intensitas penggunaan laboratorium fisika serta kontribusinya terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Jembrana. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum, pengelola laboratorium, guru, dan siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Jembrana tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Data sarana, kompetensi kepala laboratorium serta intensitas penggunaan laboratorium dikumpul menggunakan kuesioner,data hasil belajar siswa diperoleh melalui tes essay dengan reliabilitas 0,82. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap bahan dan alat ukur dasar serta fasilitas alat percobaan menunjukkan secara umum belum memenuhi standar minimal sesuai Permendiknas No 24 tahun 2007 tentang standar sarana dan prasarana, kompetensi kepala laboratorium dalam hal kepribadian sudah dalam kualifikasi baik, sedangkan kompetensi sosial, manajerial, serta profesional masih dalam kualifikasi kurang.Tenaga teknisi laboran belum tersedia, used factor alat hanya 12,08% (sangat kurang), dan data rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 34,4 dalam kualifikasi kurang.   Kata Kunci: Sarana Laboratorium, Intensitas Penggunaan, dan Hasil Belajar Siswa     ABSTRACT     The purpose of this research is to analyze the properties and the intensity usage of physics laboratory, and its contribution toward the learning outcomes of Senior High School Students in Jembrana regency. This research is  an descriptive. Subject of this research is the principal, vice principal areas of curriculum, laboratory managers, teachers, and students of class XI Science SMAN in Jembrana school year 2012/2013. The data means, head of the laboratory competence and laboratory use intensity collected using questionnaires, student learning outcomes data obtained through the essay test reliability of 0.82. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the analysis of the materials and basic measuring tools and equipment facility experiments showed generally it’s not reached the minimum standard based on the regulation of education national ministry No. 24, year 2007 about the standard equipments and properties, the head laboratory competency in the term of personality has already had good qualification, while in the terms of social competence, management, and professionalism were still less. Laboratory technicians are not yet available, a tool used factor only 12.08% (very less), and the average of students’ learning outcomes was 34.4 (less qualification).     Keywords: Laboratory facility, the use of intensity, and student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran group investigation (GI) terhadap self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Populasi adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA N 1 Negara dengan sampel 128 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 kelas kelompok kontrol dan 2 kelas kelompok eksperimen.  Data yang diperoleh berupa g-skor ternormalisasi selanjutnya dianalisis dengan statistik ANAVA satu jalur. Berdasarkan hasil dari 8 indikator self-efficacy diperoleh hasil skor untuk kelas GI meningkat secara tajam kecuali indikator 2 mengalami peningkatan yang sangat kecil. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji statistik ANAVA satu jalur diperoleh hasil Fhitung yaitu 70,505 jauh lebih besar dari pada Ftabel yaitu 3,89 sehingga H0 ditolah dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan  bahwa terdapat perbedaan self-efficacy yang signifikan antara siswa kelas GI dan siswa pada kelas kontrol.     Kata kunci: Grup Investigation dan Self-Efficacy       Abstract   This study aimed to determine the effect of the learning model group investigation (GI) of the self-efficacy of students. This research was quasi eksperiment with pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Population were Science 11th grade students at SMA N 1 Negara and the samples were 128 students, they were two classes for the control group and two classes for experiment group. The data was obtained in the form normalized g-score that analyzed by using one-way ANOVA statistical analysis. Based on the analysis of each self-efficacy indicator, it was found that the third, the fourth, the sixth, and the seventh indicator scores of GI group increased dramatically. However, the second indicator of GI group and control goup had a very small increase. Based on the results of the one-way ANOVA statistical analysis, F value was = 70.505 which was much greater than the F table = 3.89. Consequently, H0 was rejected and H1 could be accepted. It can be concluded that there were significant differences in self-efficacy between GI group students and control group students.     Keywords : Grup Investigation and Self-Efficacy
