Abstract

The Twentieth century man's life is full of various problems. According tophilosophers, the source of this complexity is the way some thinks. Therefore, they are very concerned to see man‟s life through the scientific method carefully. They began to study language, meaning, and symbols. They also examine the emotions that exist in humans as well as the attitude of human life. Therefore, the study of Contemporary Western philosophy is related to contemporary issues that are resolved fundamental answer by philosophers. Period of contemporary philosophy is usually still refers to the period of the nineteenth century to the present. Contemporary philosophy is still continuing major issues in modern philosophy, but with a different perspective altogether. Issues that include metaphysics, epistemology, anthropology (humanism) and others. In addition, a growing issue in contemporary philosophy extends to issues of capitalism, alienation, environment, democratization, human rights, and so forth. Many thinkers of the twentieth century thought has its own characteristics, namely "decentralization" of man. Human subjects are no longer regarded as the center of reality, but replace "anthropocentrism", the decentralization of human language as well as the subject of special attention to the fact.

Abstract

Mulla Sadra name the Islamic philosophy the al-Hikmah al-Muta'aliah. According to him, al-hikmah al-muta'aliah is the knowledge which is based on an intellectual intuition (irfani or isyraq dzawq), rational proof ('aql or istidlal), and the shari'ah (burhany). Al-Hikmah al Muta'āliyyah is a synthesis of three mode of thinking, namely: theology with character polemical dialectical (Jaddaly), philosophy with the character of demonstrative (burhany), theosofy with the illuminastic and gnostic character (dhawq). This all elements are derived from the Koran, and Hadith. Human‟s knowledge is divided into two: husuly science and hudhury science. Husuly science (acquired), knowledge gained through ilham (inspiration), al-kasyf (unveiling) and al-hads (intuition). Science hudlury (innate) covers about perception which, according to Mulla Sadra it was identified as an act which refers to the sensation, thus the perception is the designation for the deeds done by any soul to know the object of knowledge, both physical and non physical. He divides perception into four levels; sensory perception (al-Hiss), imajinal (al-khayal), intuition senses (wahm), intelegency (ta'aqqul). Intelegency as the highest level is based upon the degree achievement (tajarud) with the cosmos, while the sensory perception is the lowest level. The term tajarud is actually ascribed to Allah as a Being Payers (wajib al-wujud) who do not have an attachment to anything else but Himself. God‟s knowledge is objective existence (al-wujud al-'ainy). Human‟s knowledge is mental existence (al-wujud alDzihny).

His God-consciousness, deep spiritualism, acts of worship, and love for Allah are preserved and propagated by an Islamic science called Tasawwuf (Sufism). The esoteric teachings of Tasawwuf (Sufism) which purification of the heart are transmitted from Muhammad to those who had the capacity to acquire the direct experiential gnosis of God, which is passed on from teacher to student through the centuries. Different devotional styles and traditions developed over the time, reflected the perspectives of different masters and the accumulated cultural wisdom of the orders. Typically all of these concern themselves with the understanding of subtle knowledge and education of the heart to purify it and to find the love of God.

Abstract

This paper attempts to search about an-Nubuwwah concept put forward by the  hilosophers of Islam. Exposure is considered important because an-Nubuwwah issue is basically a model of philosophical understanding of religion as an object, a conclusion to the design and construction of philosophical thought the concept of that has been formulated and defended from the attacks of al-Razi. According to philosophers, is an illustration of the people who do not believe in the existence of prophethood. The teori of an-Nubuwwah in the present era can be alternative solutions to address some essential issues in human life which has not been able answer and resolve the general psychology. This discussion is also necessary to study more deeply in order to find a clear format that can be universally  accepted. Islamization of knowledge is something that is absolute existence to prevent us from the path of religion.
