Abstract

The development of information technology has brought about many changes in human life, especially in terms of communication. The emergence of social media that provides a lot of convenience in communicating, sharing various activities and of course being a place to share selfies, unknowingly fosters narcissism, which is no exception for teenagers. The desire to be famous, beautiful, get praise from others, seem to be natural things that must be followed. It is no doubt that this narcissistic can have negative impacts on a person's behavior and morals. Taking photos in inappropriate clothes, or speaking in inappropriate language, seems to be justified on social media. Not to mention that the narcissistic photo implies a person's arrogance, because it is presented as perfectly as possible so that other people are interested and become viral, regardless of its consequences for moral values.

This tradition is celebrated in 4 months consecutively in the form of kenduri (thanksgiving by bringing rice and some dishes to the mosque). Someone is appointed when she/he meets the requirements in which explained by the teacher in Pengajian. The problem lies when santri spontaneously labels everyone who does not follow rules of Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamaah as Wahabi, including Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Naturalization is a process of adopting a new branch of knowledge from foreign place to suit the local culture where the knowledge is being developed. When the new branch of knowledge come to the Islamic community, the Islamic scholars try to adjust it in order to comply with the Islamic values, called Islamization. The term was first proposed by Abdelhamed Sabra in an attempt to answer Pierre Dhume who claimed that Islamic thinkers adopted Greek philosophy without critical analysis. Sabra argued that Islam is not passive and does not accept the knowledge from the ancient Greek for granted. Islamic thinkers have developed Greek philosophy with a string analysis yielding a new knowledge relevant to Islam. The process of knowledge naturalization took place when Islamic culture encountered with Greek and Roman culture. Not all knowledge from Greek was accepted by Islamic thinkers. Every new knowledge has gone through a tight verification so that it can be developed in the Islamic world

Some communities say that the virus was engineered while others claim that the virus is a myth. This study aims to identify the Pidie Jaya Community's perspective on the Covid-19 virus. This research was conducted in Pidie Jaya Regency using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using documentation and interview techniques. This research shows that some people believe that the Covid-19 virus is scientific and needs to be studied with science and technology. They stated that to avoid the virus, they had to follow health protocols. But some believe that the Covid-19 virus will not affect the people of Aceh, except for the Chinese community, where the virus originated. This perspective makes people ignore health procedures, so they are reluctant to use masks, do not keep their distance, and wash their hands because they are sure that their bodies will not be infected by the Covid-19 virus. Besides that, some people don't believe at all about the virus, and say it's just a lie, fabricated by certain parties, to scare people. For people who don't believe in this virus, they are very ignorant of health procedures, they believe that only reading prayers can reject this virus.Abstrak: Setelah PBB menyatakan pandemi virus Covid-19 diseluruh dunia, perdebatan mengenai agama dan sains muncul kembali.
