Abstract

This study was conducted in order to know service level of excutive bus and travel car and also tofind user transport characteristic in choosing modes of transportation and get a modal choice ofmode which explain probability of user transport in mode choice executive bus and travel carroute Bandar Lampung – Bandung. In this study the method uses is ducle linear regression analy-sis to look for utility of executive bus and travel car be based on movement plan of work/officialaffair, social visit, school/lecture, and recreation. From this value of utility we can calculateprobability of mode choice executive bus and travel car.Research product indicate that the highest probability value of mode choice be based on move-ment plan of work/official affair with Damri executive bus is 41%, movement plan of social visitwith Damri executive bus is 46%, movement plan of school/lecture with Kramat Djati executivebus is 59% and than movement plan of recreation with Damri executive bus is 61%.

Abstract

Shoreline profile has a tendency to adjust the wave effect on the shoreline. Changes to the lineconsists of two kinds of erosion and sedimentation. Waves that can affect shorlines rise due to theinfluence of the wind, the wind blowing duration and distance without hurdles when the windblows (fetch). The waves were coming to cause the migration of sediment on the shoreline. Ifwaves erode sediment on the shoreline, shoreline will occur erosion and if the waves bring sedi-ment to the shoreline, on the shoreline sedimentation will occur. For example there is the KelapaRapat Beach (Pesawaran). On the beach, there is a highway a short distance away from theshoreline. Potential erosion will occur at the shoreline can cause breakdown of the resulting ero-sion of sediment on the shoreline. Due to the potential, then do research using GENESIS programto be able to estimate the extent of erosion potential disruption accessibility having an effect waycontained in about Kelapa Rapat Beach.

Abstract

In this research, the soil to test is soft clay soil from Rawa Sragi area of Belimbing Sari village, inJabung sub district of East Lampung regency, Lampung province. The soil properties were as thefollowing: specific gravity 2.546; water content 50.64%, liquid limit 61.26%, plasticity limit30.77%, plasticity index 30.49%, and material sieve passing no. 200 was 90.42%. Additive mate-rial to use was Ecomix. There were three treatments of ecomix mixtures of 3 gr, 4 gr, and 5gr with0.4 kg cement and 6 kg soft clay soil samples. The mixture samples were letting aside for 7 daysand soaked for 4 days.The results showed that the ecomix addition to mixture or cement and soft clay soil was able toimprove the soil mechanical and physical properties. The physical test results such as specificgravity, optimal water content, and plasticity index tests showed decreasing results after soil sta -bilization. The maximum CBR value was obtained in mixture of 34.49% in non-soaked condition,while the lowest CBR value was 8.2% soaked condition. The CBR test results showed that the soilmixture of ecomix additive material and cement can be used for road construction subgrade be-cause the CBR value was ≥ 6%

Abstract

Soil samples were tested in this study are derived from Karang Anyar, South Lampung. Variationsin content of the mixture used were 6%, 8%, and 10% cement and 5% sand on every variation ofcement from 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days curing time as well as the burning treatment and no-burn combustion paving block samples. Based on the results of physical testing native soil, USCSsoil samples classify as fine-grained soil and included in the CL group.The results of this study is paving block that using clay, cement, and sand does not meet ISOpaving block. However, the addition of additives and curing can increase the physical and me-chanical properties of the soil. This is proved by the increasing value of the optimum moisturecontent and density of the mixture. For the compressive strength of paving blocks without and withburning process are best shown in the addition of a mixture of 10% with 28 days curing time

Abstract

Railways as a mode of transportation has special characteristics and advantages.Operating ofKRD AC Way Umpu aims to provide good service and convenient for people of Lampng who wantto go to Kotabumi or to Bandar Lampung.In this study describes the characteristics of KRD passengers based on age, job, income, trip pur-pose, the intensity of the journey, the destination station, level of service, fare and load factor.The results showed overall performance of KRD is quite good.Based on the characteristics of thedata analysis, 62.33% of passengers aged adults (21-40 years old).In terms of jobs, dominated bystudent / college students 34%, 23.33% self-employed, civil servants / military / police22.67%.Rp.1.000.000 is the highest income level, - at 36.67%. Mean 31% of school trips and so-cial visits 47.67%.The intensity of the 1 times a week is49% with the highest purpose the last sta-tion Tanjung Karang96.35% and Kotabumi.Flat fee which resulted in a lack of purchasing powerof travelers in stations along the road to Tanjung Karang or KotabumiSo the impact on the de-cline in load factor at some stations.For the average passenger on a normal day is still appropri-ate capacity provided.

Abstract

Frequency analysis method is the method of probability is often used in the field of civil enginee -ring. By using the method, events of the extreme values can be predicted. A standard techniquesthat often used in extreme value is plotting order-rangked data. Since a long time, researchers andpractitioners doing the study to get the best method of the plotting position.The purpose of this research is to analyze the sensitivity of the frequency distribution of return pe -riod (Tr) and Log (Tr) of the plotting position methods. The Data used in this research is in theform of annual maximum daily rainfall data. Sensitivity analysis done by comparing statistical pa -rameters of multiple frequency distribution of return period (Tr), Log (Tr) and rainfall data.From the results of this study indicated that, the correlation of the distribution frequency when re -setting the Log (Tr) with the data of the annual maximum daily rainfall gives a much better resultthan on the frequency distribution of correlation times reset Tr with annual maximum daily rain-fall. This means that the use of the frequency distribution of the return period Log (Tr) will givemore accurate extreme values.
