Abstract

Indonesian happiness index was released in 2013 being the representation of happiness of the Indonesian population. Indonesia conforms that sustainable development is a future development objective is the goal of future development as the happiness achievement of Indonesian society is supported by several economic, social and environmental indicators which are the main components of the sustainable development concept. Significantly the happiness index has a positive relationship with the sustainability achievement, cities that meet the criteria of sustainable development can provide greater opportunities for the community to achieve happiness. This study evaluated the happiness of the villagers with the happiness index and fuzzy logic approach, then analyzed the relationship between the level of happiness of the villagers using sustainability of the kampung. The result of this study indicates that the level of happiness has a linear relationship with the sustainability, this can be seen from the happiness level of Kampung Sukun at 0.51 (happy) correlates with the sustainability level at 0.68 (medium high sustainability) while for Kampung Kebalen has a happiness level at 0.48 (less than happy) with sustainability level at 0.45 (medium sustainability). These two values indicate the linearity of the relationship between the happiness index and the levels of sustainability of the kampungs.

This theme was subjected to examination with positivism approach and quantitative method and then explained descriptively based on the criteria of 4 models of evaluation using Website Attribute Evaluation System (WAES). Content analysis was conducted and focused on the systematic features of the website. Research used proportional stratified random sampling based on the rating of information transparency of public agencies in 2016. Result of research indicates that still quite few public agencies have features of transparency, interactivity, usability, and website maturity, and thus, information gap still exists and is obviously influencing public’s perception and expectation, which then affecting public trust to public agencies.

Abstract

Communication models emerging and developing recently are still theoretically dominated by western perspective. “Seven Traditions” term previously promoted by Robert Craigh has grown into “Ten Traditions”. Other side of this prespective, eastern perspective, is indeed also meaningful in undestanding the review of communication science. Islam perspective represented by Prophet Muhammad SAW constitutes this eastern side. However, eastern perspective is not the object of spotlight in the academic review either in the west or east parts of the world. As a part of the responsibility for the intellectualism, the author feels necessary to adopt the title “Interpersonal Communication Model of Prophet Muhammad SAW”. The methodology of this review is qualitative. Literature study is used as the approach of review because the observed object is related with the history and also because field study is not reliable approach for the type of qualitative review. Result of the current review shows that communication models introduced by Prophet Muhammad SAW does not escape from the guidance and revelation of Allah SWT stated in Al Qur’an and Hadist. It is expected that interpersonal communication model of Prophet Muhammad SAW should be new paradigm in the review of communication science beyond western perspective that is currently developed.
