Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and explain transformational leadership variables that affect job satisfaction variables, transformational leadership variables that affect organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction variables that affect organizational citizenship behavior. The population of this study was all nurses in four (4) private hospitals in the city of Manado as many as 522 people. Sample size 227 people. The sampling technique uses Proportional Random Sampling. The data analysis technique used is Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). GeSCA Analysis Tool. The results of this study state that Transformational leadership has a positive effect on job satisfaction and transformational leadership has a positive significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Higher education is part of the national education system that has a strategic role in educating the nation's life and advancing science and technology by paying attention to and applying human and cultural values and sustainably empowering the Indonesian people, to support Malang State University (UM) as a state university that is implementing higher education autonomy with a financial management pattern, the Public Service Agency is given the authority to appoint Non-PNS Permanent Lecturers based on the internal needs of the institution. adapted to national higher education standards. The objectives of this study are: (1) to explain the implementation of the Rector of the State University of Malang Number 14 of 2017 concerning Permanent Lecturers of Non-PNS UM (2) to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Research findings: (1) differences in the interpretation of leaders at universities and faculties and among non-PNS permanent lecturers themselves in terms of clarity of future status for non-PNS UM lecturers (2) lack of socialization related to non-PNS policies Permanent PNS UM lecturers in particular in terms of career patterns, clarification of further study S3 in the contract period (3). There are differences in policies in terms of employment status and providing incentives for education staff with the status of Non-Permanent Employees with the policy of Non-PNS Permanent Lecturers whose rights and obligations are the same as PNS.

Abstract

Inflation control is one of the main macroeconomic problems that must be solved in Indonesia. In inflation control, it is necessary to do an analysis to determine the factors that influence it. The Phillips Curve theory states that one of the factors that influence inflation in a given period is the inflation of the previous period so that dynamic relationships apply that require dynamic modeling. In a dynamic model, the lag of the response variable as a predictor variable causes endogeneity problems so that a parameter estimation method is needed to overcome it. In addition to inflation in the previous period, factors that are thought to influence the inflation rate in Indonesia are economic growth, real interest rates, money supply, and the Consumer price index (CPI) set by the government. The closeness between provinces in Indonesia can cause the inflation rate of a province to be similar to the inflation rate of other provinces through the transfer of information and knowledge, causing spatial dependence. Spatial dependence can occur in a response and predictor variables called Spatial Durbin Model (SDM). To overcome this problem a method is needed to overcome the problem of endogeneity and spatial dependence, namely Spatially Corrected Blundell-Bond (SCBB). The results showed that the inflation rate in the previous year (Inft-1) had a significant influence on the inflation rate this year. In addition, another variable that significantly influences the inflation rate is the inflation rate in neighborhood provinces (WInft), the inflation rate in the neighborhood provinces at the previous time (WInft-1), economic growth (PEt), SBI interest rates (SBIt), SBI interest rates in neighborhood provinces (WSBIt), Consumer Price index (CPI) set by the government in that province (CPIt) and neighborhood provinces (WCPIt).

Abstract

This research is motivated by an organization or company success whose biggest factors are influenced by employee performance. This study used employee respondents of PT Pelindo III (Persero) Tanjung Perak Port Surabaya which consist of 225 respondents taken using accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis using multiple linear analysis. The results showed that fair distribution, job satisfaction, and ethical leadership influenced the organization's committee. This is influenced by several factors, such as companies that can allocate rewards appropriately, employees who are satisfied with the work they do and the existence of organization leaders or companies that can to be exemplary and motivating.

Abstract

As one of the cities that carries Tri Bina Cita, the city of students, industry, and tourism, it’s undeniable that Malang City has become one of the strategic areas in the development of modern markets. Through the development of modern markets in Malang City, it’s possible that people tend to switch from traditional markets to modern markets. Therefore, to keep pace with market growth expected in Malang City, it’s fitting traditional markets to be addressed through a policy, which is market revitalization. Market revitalization can be interpreted as a process, method, and action that is able to give importance to sellers and buyers in traditional market. The implementation of market revitalization should be done to balance the growth rate of modern market in an area. Market Revitalization Dinoyo governance aims to regulate the market, so it will be more organized, orderly, and convenient for sellers and buyers.The revitalization policy at Dinoyo Market is a form of decision implemented by Malang City Government, as an effort to increase the competitiveness of traditional markets in Malang City, such as Dinoyo Market. The revitalization at Dinoyo Market not just talking about the construction, but the real impact that can be felt by the public, as sellers and buyers at Dinoyo Market. Some of the things that must be considered by Malang City Government regarding the revitalization policy at Dinoyo Market is about the feasibility of market buildings, which became a part of the protection for the sellers and buyers at Dinoyo Market, also market safety, to provide convenience to visitors who shop at Dinoyo Market, furthermore cleanliness of market location and hygiene ingredients at Dinoyo Market, to ensure these materials are protected from things that are dangerous and safe for consumption. Therefore, this study will discuss about the revitalization policy at Dinoyo Market through the perspective of Good Governance, so that it can find out the efforts that have been made and can be carried out by Malang City Government.

Abstract

East Nusa Tenggara Province has the lowest Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) value in Indonesia. The local governments try to increase the value of GRDP by providing capital for productive businesses, increasing human resources, and managing the economic sector in each district/city. The GRDP value is influenced by dynamic economic factors. In a functional region, GRDP values in a region are correlated with neighboring regions. Regions that have homogeneous characteristics will tend to have the same economic condition, therefore indicating there is spatial dependence. Therefore, to know the pattern of GRDP value should be doing periode observed use panel data. Model panel data that can accommodate the effect of each factor on GRDP value has dynamic and dependence spatial, the model can be more useful to capture them. This study will apply the model to the cast of GRDP value in the district/city of East Nusa Tenggara Province with economic factors affecting GRDP value is labor (L), population (P), investment (Inv), and locally generated revenue (LGR). The results of variable estimated the found that significantly affect the GRDP values are investment (Inv) and locally generated revenue (LGR), furthermore GRDP value affect by GRDP value in the previous period and GRDP value by neighbor regions.

Abstract

The government through the Department of Manpower and Transmigration issued an empowerment program for ex-migrant workers. The program was implemented by The Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Tulungagung Regency based on PERKA BNP2TKI Nomor 04 tahun 2017 related to the empowerment of Indonesian migrant workers. There were 3,867 migrant workers from Tulungagung Regency in the year 2017. The empowerment program focused on the establishment of productive and entrepreneurial businesses, but still considered the potential of each region.The implementation of the empowerment program was still focused on two desmigrative villages in Tulungagung Regency, namely Betak Kalidawir and Mirigambar Sumbergempol, with the majority of the populations work as migrant workers. The background of the empowerment program for ex-migrant workers is the condition that ex-migrant workers in Tulungagung when returning to their regions didn’t have jobs and triggered to return to work abroad again. The purpose that the skills and capital by ex-migrant workers can be used effectively and maximally. So that when returning to the area, ex-migrant workers have jobs and open jobs. In this study, the authors used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation for further analyzed by using interactive analysis model Miles, Huberman and Saldana  (2014). The findings obtained are that the implementation of the program has not been running optimally. The findings obtained that the implementation hasn’t run optimally, especially with several strategies and requirements set by the organization that haven’t been carried out maximum.

Abstract

This study aimed to compile the Formulation of the Ex-PNPM-MPd Activity Management Units (UPKs) Institutional Model in East Java. The descriptive research method was applied. The research subjects were the ex-PNPM-MPd UPK institutions in East Java. This research produced the best formulation of the Ex PNPNM-MPd UPK institutional model, where the institution must remain 1) prioritizing community’s needs- and conditions-based empowerment activities and community’s needs in its working area, 2) seeking legality for institutions and business units, 3) having an institutional structure that can cover all institutional activities, 4) implementing a merit system, namely HR policies and management based on qualifications, competencies, and performance fairly, 5) compiling and publishing regular financial reports based on financial standards in a transparent and accountable manner, 6) striving for development revolving fund activities (savings and loans unit) by increasing profit targets (surplus/SHU), increasing the number of beneficiaries (Poor Households (RTM)/non-RTM groups) and innovating savings and loans product services, and 7) developing non-revolving fund business units by expanding the market, introducing the brand (trademark) and applying a sound business management system.
