Abstract

In improving service quality Tamalate faced District Office on the quality of Human Resources and Organizational Culture is always oriented to quality services in an effort to meet the needs and expectations of society. The purpose of this study were (i) to analyze the influence of human resource management of the quality of service at the District Office Tamalate Makassar; (ii) to analyze the influence of organizational culture on quality of service at the District Office Tamalate Makassar; (iii) to analyze the influence of human resource management and organizational culture on quality of service at the District Office Tamalate Makassar. The samples are saturated samples that use the entire population as a sample of 19 employees. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed with simple regression with SPSS 20:00 for windows. The results showed: (i) human resources management a significant effect on the quality of service Tamalate Makassar City District Office; (ii) Organizational culture significantly influence service quality Tamalate City District Office; (iii) human resource management and organizational culture together affect the service quality Tamalate Makassar City District Office

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of activities in intrakurikuler and approach to the implementation of education and the inclusion of character values in students in SMP Negeri 5 Mandai Maros District. This research was conducted by using qualitative descriptive analysis and data collection techniques used were documentation and interview. primary data sources are teachers and students, while secondary data are documents related to study materials, including education and cultural ministerial regulations. The results showed that the form of activities and approaches to the implementation of education and the inculcation of character values in students at SMPN.5 Mandai, Maros District, conducted through intrakurikuler activities with integration approach. However, in the implementation of character education through intrakurikuler activities, teachers have not maximized to perform the integration of character value investing, especially in core activities and in closing activities. While the content of teacher learning materials already contain the character values, especially on the 6 subjects that have been analyzed the Plan of Execution of its Learning.

Abstract

The research aims at identifying the types and investigating the reasons of communication strategies employed through English. The research used a qualitative method in nature. The subjects were twenty five students of English Department of State University of Makassar who passed Speaking Three classes. The researcher used Littlewood’s taxonomy of communication strategies in identifying the data and Miles and Huberman interactive model of analysis as the techniques of data analysis. The interview and the observation were carried out simultaneously to elicit and to identify the types of communication strategies employed. The research reveals that there are eight strategies employed in which seeking help strategy was most used in dialogue. It was proved that when the students faced difficulty to express the meaning, they asked for help from the interviewer. The researcher found some reasons of communication strategies, namely making communication running well, catching the message easily, making the speaker more creative, and avoiding being afraid of making wrong words. The thesis argues that, on the basis of the findings, further research into the use of communication strategies in classroom context could make a significant contribution to teacher education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to complete the video program about Abdul Kahar Wahid that has been made before, by adding comments and testimony from artists and art educators and at the same time validating it. This research is conducted through Research and Development procedure, with field trial. Research development in education is a process for developing and validating educational products including materials and procedures and processes such as; teaching methods, learning management and including learning media. The sample of this study consists of students of Arts Education Studies Program Postgraduate Program of UNM Makassar Batch 2016 consists of 15 people, from students of Art Education Program (S1) 25 people. The results showed that the quality of video display showed a high percentage in both categories and excellent in all fields, such as the readability of text / writing very well (53%.) While the quality of presentation of the material, good and excellent category in all fields, and clarity of purpose learning is very good (53%) and ease of understanding material is good (60%). The product of this research deserves to be used as material and media of art learning especially for subject of Local Art Study.
