Abstract

Abstract.Underachiever is a child with a performance that does not comply with the conditions they are supposed to have. Many things can cause a child to be an underachiever. One reason is the teachers' teaching methods that can not be enjoyed by children as they should. Another cause is the student's learning style that can not be accommodated in the classroom. The condition is often associated with gifted underachiever. Guidance and counseling to help children understand the conditions underachiever themselves. In-depth guidance and counseling can also help the child adjust to learning in the classroom. Parental involvement in the treatment of children with problems can underachiever positive effect on child development.

Abstract

Post-disaster disaster survivors experience severe obstacles in his adjustment. Nevertheless, natural disaster or trauma encountered in life is not entirely negative effect. Exposure below attempts to lay out the findings of research that actually proves that disaster survivors to be very powerful, very strong and can develop post-disaster. Factors that determine so helpless disaster after disaster survivors include social support, personal reinforcement in the form of self-acceptance, self-management, and positive coping strategies which can all be sourced from local cultural values.

Abstract

Abstract. Teachers in the learning process, should pay attention to the characteristics of their students. A wide range of student characteristics, both internally and externally. One of the characteristics of students in learning that need to be considered in teacher learning and affect the effectiveness of teaching and learning is the learning styles of the students.Experiential Learning not only provide insight into the concepts of knowledge alone. However, it also gives a real experience that will build skills through real assignments. Experienced learning theory is formed through a process of suppression. Suppression process includes concrete experience, observe /reflect on concrete experiences, abstract concepts and generalizations formatting, to test implications of concepts in new situations. The four processes form the four types of learning styles are: konverger, akomodator, diverger, and assimilator.Teachers in teaching has its own learning style as well as the types of students have learning styles but it does not mean the quality of teaching by itself will increase. Learning style is closely related to an individual's personal history influenced by education and development. This is because the factors that affect academic achievement itself. Therefore, in the learning process teachers need to pay attention to the types of learning styles of the students as well as teachers also have their own learning style.

Abstract. Guidance and counseling is an integral part of the education that have objects of human behavior. Human behavior in the context of social interaction can never be separated from the social environment that involves the various components. One such component is the culture. Students are highly influenced by the culture of the parents, preschool, and school vary greatly in terms of the extent to which the children are encouraged to develop long-term relationships with peers and teachers outside the family.Various elements in the areas of people's lives is the seeds that could enrich the culture to build a strong community, but instead can weaken the strength of the nation with various squabbles and disputes. Therefore the social relations necessary to arrange to run centripetal, disagreements, disputes must be addressed not by dogmatic attitude but with rational critical attitude. Rational critical attitude can be done through education, because education is a strategic component which has an important role in determining the forward movement of the nation

Abstract

Early development of counseling and psychotherapy is influenced by psychodynamic, respectively influences cognitive / behavioristik, and humanistic perspectives into the paradigm system of guidance and counseling. Paradigm shift aimed at the effectiveness of guidance and counseling not provide justification that the earlier theories are not well. Another important thing that must be understood by the counselor are all theories of counseling and psychotherapy have contributed in accordance with the concept and view of man with the attributes of the Problem. Shift towards preventive-seen significant growth for the period in which the learners should be given an equal opportunity to thrive.

Abstract

Characteristics and indicators of disruptive behavior and there is no common characteristic at each age level school (playgroup, kindergarten, elementary, junior high, high school or university). Disruptive behavior can be divided into three levels, namely mild, moderate and severe. The reasons for this can come from internal or external actors. Handling problems and disruptive behavior can be observed from behavioristik approaches, cognitive and humanistic. Through this article classroom teachers and teacher guidance and counseling are expected to understand and handle disruptive behavior so as to maximize the teaching and learning process in the classroom.
